Wrinkles camp is only one site, so no neighbours, with over 10 acres to access other areas for walking or bird watching. We have horses and cattle and it is a quiet and peaceful spot to kick back and relax. Peaceful van site or can pitch a tent, with toilet, shower, lights and electricity, all under a fully paved shed with seats. Enjoy a great fire pit in front of shed, with hand made log seats. Well behaved dogs allowed on a leash, as we have dogs and other animals on property The single campsite (yes just the one site) overlooks a large dam with jetty. Horses and cattle roam around out the back. Feed the wild birds such as duck, parrots, kookaburras, and more. Just 5 minutes from Smiths Crossing for fresh water fishing, canoeing or swimming or go to Moore Park for a swim, surf or take the bike and use their great cycling paths. Other beaches close by are Miara, Norval Park and further away are Winfield, Baffle creek and the iconic Agnes Waters and 1770. All great spots to fish or crab. The Avondale Pub is 1km away with great meals and drinks, and the Bucca Pub is 10 minutes away with weekend entertainment. Jo's road house is just up the road and has all the essentials food wise with great pizzas, and fuel. Next to Jo's is an RACQ centre and mechanics. All this at your fingertips or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet in amongst the large gum trees and native lemon scented gums. Please note: no late arrivals after 6pm please.

Paradise Lost on the Burnett

I. run a cattle grazing farm in Duingal, right on the Burnett River, 18km out of Gin Gin and 60km from Bundaberg. We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. From the Marina, you can depart to Lady Musgrave Island, enjoy 1 hr to full day tour on the iconic Larcs and enjoy  spectacular sunsets.The are some must-visit small businesses in the area including Rusty Pelican Fish and Chips, Pancake Creek Tours, Katrina's Bar (for sunset drinks) and Marina Cafe (for best coffee and vanilla slice).There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Council's dump point is just 5 minutes away.

Our compacted gravel driveway is suitable for all vehicle types and will lead you up to a large flat, grassy area where you can enjoy levelled parking for a comfortable stay. Site 2 is levelled and just as peaceful but not grassed. Our property is located only a short 5 minute drive to Agnes Water main beach, town centre and 10 minutes to the iconic town of 1770. There are many things to do and see in and around the area so make sure you ask us for some hot tips on where to go and what to do. Comfort is key! Enjoy your very own 5 star eco toilet and shower block. Wash away the day while watching the sunset disappear behind the mountains from our beautiful open air rain water shower. The loo also has a great view. Trust us you wont want to miss out on this experience (Please note: shower is cold water only) Hungry? Ron's Veggies across the road has you covered. Take a stroll down the driveway to see his great selection of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. IMPORTANT Please note: We only offer the 2 campsite areas at any one time (top grassed area and compacted pad) to ensure your stay is as peaceful and private as possible, but please note we have live in, onsite caretakers who reside in front of the shed up the top on the grassed area and on occasions friends and family do come up to visit. Please check with us beforehand to see if we have friends or family staying before you book if this may be an issue for you. Please be respectful of our toilet block and ensure ALL children are accompanied by an adult in the shower/toilet facility. Campfires: Fires are welcome in the designated fire pit area or if you have your own off the ground pit but you will need to bring along your own firewood. Animals: Your fury/feathery friends are more than welcome but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and not to be left unattended during your stay. Please also ensure their waste is picked up and disposed of off the property. Waste: Bins are not provided and we ask that all rubbish is taken with you, including ALL cigarette butts. We have one site available, in a paddock right by a large dam, complete with island. There is a large undercover area to sit and relax and eat, a campfire, with logs around for you to sit and chat. Plenty of firewood for you to collect. We have a couple of canoes for the dam, and it is certainly suitable for swimming, when full! There are plenty of walks on our property and birds and wildlife. We are also a working farm, so farm tours are available by booking - ducks, chooks, geese, sheep, cattle, and house cows, plus veggie gardens, orchard etc. We have some produce for sale, in season (eggs, honey, strawberry jam, sometimes our own sausages/mince). We are 20 minutes from Bundy, 25 from Childers and 30 minutes from Bargara, the beach and surf; the Burnett river is 5 minutes away, as is the nearest pub! Pets allowed by prior arrangement only, as we must be assured they are under control!

Mt Perry is a RV friendly town and offers free hot and cold showers, washing machine per load $2.00, Mingo Crossing, Ban Ban Springs, Gayndah, Mundubbera and Monto just to name a few, great for day trips from your camp on our property. Here you can enjoy mountain views with undulated land. There is an old historical hand dug mine site dated 1880 for gold. Fig trees are dotted around the property great spot for camping. Peace and quite with great sunsets and sunrises over the property and mountains. Camping is available for tents, caravans/motorhomes and camping trailers on a property of 178 acres. Close to local town of Mt Perry, Mingo Crossing, Gold Mine, Ban Ban Springs, Paradise Dam. Plenty of places to camp where you will have your own space. The local pub at Mt Perry and the local shops are only a few minutes' drive from our property and does meals if you want a night out whilst camping. There is only 50m of dirt road to drive on, the rest is bitumen road to get to Fig Tree Camp if you use Monto Road as you route. Our rates are $20 per person per night and $15 per person per day for day trips

Buxton Bush Retreat is a privately owned parcel of 17 acres located 7 kilometers (6 minute drive) from the quaint seaside village of Buxton. The front 5 acres is 'home' to Kerrie and Brian, their two puppies (Jazz and Jaxi) and two cats (Bangers and Mash). The remainder of the property (about 12 acres) comprises of flat, well grassed areas and natural bushland. There are eight(8) well maintained, large, flat camping areas and each has its own fire pit. An initial supply of firewood will be provided. There is no water or power throughout these camping areas, hence they are only suitable for "fully self contained" motor homes and caravans. Apart from humans, dogs and cats, the property is inhabited by kangaroos and a variety of birdlife. The small township of Buxton is home to a mixture of permanent residents and holiday homes. There is one general store which sells most consumables, including alcohol. They also serve up meals every Wednesday. Buxton has a great little boat ramp on the Isis River which provides easy access for river fishing or to the Coral Sea for ocean fishing. So, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable QUIET and relaxing campsite with not too many people around then Buxton Bush Retreat many be just the place for you. No 'midges' or sand flies or dirt/sand camping sites .... all sites are flat and fully grassed and maintained.
