Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. Please be aware that weekends are family times and do get busy with extra people. During the week it is very quiet and you could have the whole place to yourself. This communal area has log seating around the fire, hammocks in the trees and sandy tracks to the creek where you can throw in a line. Guests with horses can bring up to two per booking. You may set up a portable yard off your float or request a private paddock, this needs to be arranged in advance. Please note that stallions are not permitted. Horse-related activities, require at least one week’s notice prior to your stay. The creek is tidal, offering opportunities to fish, swim, or explore by stand-up paddleboard or inflatable boat. I loved A Place to call Home. We were welcomed and shown to our site. The property has a lovely stream going through it easily accessed by the sites. Unfortunately camping isn’t yet allowed close to the stream, but the large cleared land was a joy to walk around with my dog and the stream perfect to cool off in. I’d definitely recommend this spot.

The perfect place to set up, chuck a roast on and crack a cold one. Campfire locations set up with rocks. Sunrises through the trees over the wetland/bushes. Close proximity (driving) to the river for a spot of fishing, the bay for an early morning walk or explore with the kids and the local tavern for some adult time. A walk up Wallace road on an evening is quite nice if you are looking to stretch your legs. Glass house mountains are a 20-25min drive for some great hikes and if you make it to the top some worthy photos. Brisbane is 45min drive with no traffic. Bribie island is a 22min drive with lots of great cafes and flat walks available. IMPORTANT: The Ranch is on the corner of beachmere and Wallace road. Access is off Wallace road. After you turn onto Wallace road it’s the first right at the yellow letterbox. Pull through and down to the left. Through the gate next to the container out into the back paddock. Please keep this gate shut. There is a designated area for Hip-Camp straight and to the right near the fire pit and bucket. If you have animals please clean up after them and dogs are to be on lead if they do not recall or like to chase wildlife. As we have wonderful bird life along with lizards and chickens on the property. The fire pit has bricks around it. You can help yourself to any kindling but it’s BYO firewood. Please do not chop logs or collect logs from the property.

We have a mini pig (Splat) that has her own paddock but she likes to socialise. I'm waiting for fencer to get her back in her paddock again. She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. I'm sure you will see other campers too and set up where ever you like. Just close gates again and I will meet you later if we are out. Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy.
