Come and escape to our stunning off-grid cabin in Wondecla, located in the serene Atherton Tablelands. Surrounded by beautiful gum trees in a natural setting, it's the perfect destination for those seeking tranquillity and relaxation. Our host has expertly constructed the cabin from a combination of recycled and new materials, featuring large windows that offer breath-taking views of the surrounding landscape.

Booking the cabin grants you exclusive use of the entire campsite, and you have the option to invite friends and family to join you for a small fee. The cabin itself provides a peaceful retreat, equipped with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, and all the amenities you need to feel at home. Powered entirely by a solar 12v system, the cabin provides a sustainable off-grid living experience. Wake up to the sounds of nature, step out onto your private deck, and take in the breath-taking views of the surrounding wildlife.

Our campsite offers a range of amenities, including a large fire pit for cosy evenings and a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen for preparing meals. The outdoor shower is spacious, providing a unique experience of showering under the stars. We source hot water from rainwater tanks or the nearby creek during dry seasons, so you can still enjoy a warm shower even while off-grid.

Leichhardt Creek Organic Farm

 . We are not open till late May due to having to repair and fix tracks, creek crossing , fencing etc on our property due to Cyclone Jasper and the monsoon. We have a 300 acre organic property which is mainly open forest with a mile of creek frontage. Smaller caravans, tents, camper vans and rooftop tents can camp in the forest next to the creek. This is a working farm and we don't check emails every day so please book ahead. You will have to confirm what time as we have a locked gate. 

Ironbark House Dimbulah

Situated a ridgeline gazing out across the wilderness for over 50kms towards Mt Mulligan Station, the Hann Tablelands and Mt Baker. Offering a small number of private camp sites spread across 5000 acres of diverse landscape. From the 25 acre lake to the refreshing Emerald Creek; from your own billabong & gumtrees to being up in the escarpment with spectacular views, you are sure to find your perfect escape. Guest will have access to a composting toilet during their stay. All guests are required to take all rubbish with them and leave no trace.Ideal for solo adventurers or small to large groups. Some sites are accessible by 2WD and suitable for trailers, small caravans and campervans, others by 4WD only.- Each camp site is for one party only & 100's of meters or even kilometers away from any others. All campers have access to our big lake & creek day areas. Enjoy leisurely walks or challenging hikes, climbing, mountain biking, swimming, canoeing etc.- We are situated right next to the magnificent Emerald Falls, Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and Davies Creek Mountain Bike Park.- Sorry no pets.- Only one hour from Cairns international airport.
