What a wonderful little place.
Erica was a terrific host, very friendly and super helpful.
The site is private with amazing views, it is the only hipcamp site on the property and you have the area to yourself.
There is a bore water tank you can use also.
Lots of improvements happening to the site to make it better for future hipcampers.
We got to be the first to try the outdoor claw foot bath tub watching the sun set.
Highly recommended and we hope to visit again.
Wish more hipcamp properties offered privacy like Baroomby Bush Camp

Baroomby Bush Camp
I had a wonderful overnight stay tent camping here. You are the only site on the property, it’s beautifully quiet with an incredible view of the sky at night. There’s a sheltered area so no need for a gazebo or tables, a wonderful campfire area and plenty of space for multiple people. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you for hosting us.

Tranquillity silence I think you can hear the stars twinkle at night. Fantastic remote feeling. The road in is 4x4 recommended and some tight spots for a caravan but it was so worth the short drive.

An absolute gem of a place - from the hilltop location, to the kitchen facilities this is a must visit for a relaxing weekend in the bush. Host Erica is so accommodating and super friendly. Easy communication and access - we had two vehicles and two dogs who loved exploring the bush and meeting the resident horses. Definitely want to return to this gorgeous spot in the Tablelands.

Beautiful setup at a very private campsite. Cooking over the open fire, sound of the kookaburras shouting goodnight, star gazing… all in all a dreamy experience, would definitely visit again!

Our host Erica was a lovely lady, very welcoming and was able to give us ideas on places we could visit.
The site was extremely well laid out, clean and well maintained .We made good use of the covered area and the smaller of the fire pits. There was an abundance of fire wood. The dogs enjoyed the walks.
This site was wonderful for us but could easily accommodate a family gathering.
We plan on returning to enjoy more of Baroomby’s sunsets. Thank you Erica

We loved our stay at Baroomby, so peaceful and plenty of room to move. Firewood in abundance and camp cooking every night under the stars. Just perfect. Erica was friendly and informative, communication exceptional. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Beauty of a bush camp under the stars, free firewood all around the site, tank full of water, very private spot away from anyone perfect as we had a 2 year old and 2 dogs who haven't had too much camping exposure

Would definitely be coming back! With plenty of area space and privacy, even if you go with friends you won’t feel crowded. Plenty of activities to do throughout the days such as waterfalls, creeks and the hot springs only minutes away. Not to mention, the beautiful sunset you witness each afternoon. The hosts were very hospitable and willing to help when needed. Sink at site to make washing dishes easier, and lovely little shack with plenty of space if needed.

Baroomby Bush Camp
We had a great stay at this fantastic spot! The site was clear, well maintained and exactly as described. Beautiful tall trees, mountain views in the distance and a great fire pit with loads of quality wood (easily found around and even some prepared ready to go when we arrived). The running water/sink setup was handy, the shady table area was perfect for sunsets and puzzle time, and there was plenty of space for the kids to ride their bikes. The creek just 5 minutes drive away was perfect for swimming, and Ravenshoe is a charming little town to visit. Couldn’t ask for more — highly recommend!

Great host - very informative and site as advertised. large site suitable for groups, great spot to watch the sunset. we loved our 2 day visit! would recommend, easy to find and close to Ravenshoe/Innot hot springs for close day trips. We won't be going back to caravan parks any time soon!

Had a great time stayed for 5 nights. Erica was great host . Nice clean hilltop site with water fire wood and camp kitchen . Very peaceful quiet and very private still only 2hrs from cairns.

A beautiful, peaceful spot- just the birds and the bush all to myself.... An awesome and well thought out fire-pit, with wood provided, and kitchen area under shelter so minimal set-up required. 6-7 minutes to Innot hot springs to rinse the dust off and have a soak.....A great place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature. Thanks Erica and family 😊

Baroomby Bush Camp
We really enjoyed our 2 nights camping in a ground tent. It’s a large flat site with some shade, a shelter which we put our tent under, a fire pit and plenty of firewood around, water available (needs to be filtered to drink), quiet, private and beautiful sunsets.
Erica is a lovely host and we highly recommend this site.
