We have a passion for the environment, agriculture and reducing the amount of waste created by humans, we try to reuse and repurposing as much of our own and others waste as possible. We are located on Tully Mission Beach Road with the bike path between Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach running right past the front gates, so a quick ride into town and plenty of space to bring your boat! We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help. Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

Flaggy Creek Caravan Camp is set on a 260 acre rural property set aside for wildlife offering a peaceful and relaxing place to escape the daily grind. Our Hipcamp, (owners on site), is small scale to minimise environmental impact; we have six sites spaced well apart for privacy; each site catering up to two adult guests only (18+) and one vehicle. * Camp 5 permits 1 dog see Rules when booking; All other campsites strictly No Pets * Solo travelers are encouraged to book, many who have commented not feeling overwhelmed by large groups or too isolated. If you are booking for others please let them know they will need to set up at their booked site. Please do not invite additional guests to enter the property. You will need to be fully self-contained: compulsory own toilet, drinking water, recommended shower. Our Hipcamp is situated in a cool climate, away from the humidity of the coast. A highlight is beautiful permanent Flaggy Creek which meanders its way through the property for approximately 1 km and is habitat to platypus, turtles and an abundance of bird life (we are close to an ebird hotspot) with towering blue and rose gums. Take a dip on a hot day in one of several water holes including a large lagoon adjacent a mini waterfall surrounded by beautiful she-oaks. There are walks on mowed tracks around the property (look for large eastern grey kangaroos in the top paddock) including along a dam wall where you might spot herons or rainbow bee eaters (seasonally) and we can give you directions to a fire-trail to hike up to the Bluff. Herberton (10 mins) also has many excellent walking trails. All camp sites have their own fire pit (local conditions and/or state fire ban season permitting). We sell large crates of split firewood for $20 or you can collect your own. Please do not bring firewood for biosecurity reasons. During the wet season (December-April) we recommend 4WD to access the property as there is a concrete causeway creek crossing and on rare occasions this can become impassable with an extreme amount of rain but does go down very quickly once rain has eased. Please take care and go slowly on unsealed roads. Please ask for permission to fly drones.

Lovely tidy campsite with short grass, very well maintained site. Amenities tidy and clean amazing sunset views and great firewood that burnt for a long time. Will definitely be back when we have the chance.

Fabulous spot to camp by the river, nice & level, with plenty of room. Lovely friendly hosts that brought us firewood for the fire pit. We enjoyed kayaking late afternoon & early morning, very picturesque. We were lucky to see a couple of water dragons on our paddle. We will be back!!

Beautiful spot, we stayed at the Mountain view site & it was perfect for us. Flat area for our son to have a run around, water hookup & campfire. We had a lovely swim at the creek Next Alligator & at Mission Beach. Sharee is very accommodating- we had a late check out & really good comms.

Weekend Trip to The Riverstone | Campground

One of the first to camp here and it did not disappoint. Nice open areas to camp with dedicated firepit. Sites are high up on the bank with a short stroll down to the river, a little steep as you get to the river so for those that wear crocs you might need to lock the hubs 😜. We could hear a little road noise in the early hours but nothing that we would complain about. It’s not far from Ravenshoe and the Millstream if you wanted to do some site seeing.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tully Mountain Views. We had the site right on the dam, stunning views with a private site. Plenty of wildlife to keep us entertained. Would definitely stop here again on the way through!

Lovely little camp at the back of the garden centre in Mission Beach. Super close to everything. Lots of chickens and turkeys roaming about. Great little fire pits in each camp and all of the sites feel very private with beautiful plants and flowers all around. Would definitely stay again!
