Other Things to Note Access to the property involves crossing a dip and a causeway . This track is almost always accessible by 2WD. Contact us regarding crossing conditions before your stay during wet weather. Toilet facilities are not available and bush toilets are NOT permitted. Campers must bring their own camping toilets and take all waste when they go. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF YOUR CONTAINERS/TOILET FACILITIES PLKEASE MESSAGE US FOR CONFORMATION. A BUCKET IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS IT CAN BE BLOWN OVER SPILLING CONTENTS. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits, based on weather conditions. Firewood is available for $15.per bag this is in the shade shelter with the fire pits if there isn't one at your site. We would appreciate if you could return your bags pls. Generators are permitted, we ask that these are turned off by 8pm for the comfort of other guests and our neighbours across the river.

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other. During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Yabba Creek Farm is located along the Yabba Creek just west of Imbil. Only 3km past Imbil township and 10km to Borumba Dam. The property boast exquisite views of the Yabba Creek bordering Mount Grainger and forestry as our backdrop. Make use of the free kayak hire. It is a must do so you can see what makes this area so popular. There are deep swimming holes as well as shallow areas for the little ones. Our access to property and sites is not affected by heavy rain or minor flooding *** Please note there is a rifle range within a few kilometres of the farm. You can hear the distant echos when range is open during some weekends FYI *** Yabba creek Farm is one of three Hipcamps along this stretch of Yabba Creek. To the west is Maluka Park - runner up Hipcamp 2022 and finalist 2023 in Australia. To the east is Yabba Ridge with an abundance of unique animals you can see across the paddock from Yabba Creek Farm. These campsites are really hidden gems. Be sure to book early as we are gaining popularity with limited bookings available. Camps are spaced out along a manicured 300m creek frontage. There is a total of 1km creek frontage on Yabba Creek Farm for your to explore. Attractions include kayaking - provided and are free to use, hiking in adjacent Imbil state forest and wildlife watching. Platypus are frequently sighted in the Yabba creek. Lungfish can also be viewed while kayaking or snorkelling. Koalas, wallabies, gonnas and an abundance of bird life are also commonly sighted. Dogs are welcome on very strict conditions as we have farm animals including, chickens, horses and a turkey, so must remain secure on a leash at all times. Dogs with hunting or chasing nature are not welcome for the safety of our animals and wildlife. Porta toilet available. BYO if you wish to camp further away from main area. Second hire toilet during peak season. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Weekends and holidays we provide farm experiences for the kids with feeding and petting with ponies and pony ride for the little kids, chickens and turkey. This camp is an easy seven minute drive from the Gympie Music Muster site. Get in early to set up camp at your choice of positions on a mostly flat paddock in the crook of huge private valley. 4WD is not totally necessary but may be advantageous in wet weather or to those wanting to get off the beaten track. With creek frontage, shade trees overhead and ranging hills behind, at this camp site you will be sure to catch sight of many birds, wallabies, and other wildlife. Bring your camera! There is a porta loo (and coming soon, a hot shower) on site, we will hire more if bookings are thick but if you are self contained that is awesome! We have a few fire pits and rings available. Exploring the area is a must. You have the creek right here and the forest, nearby are National Parks with marked trails, more creeks to swim in and wildlife to observe. Bunya Farm Produce is open on Saturday mornings for a taste of the best offerings around and Amamoor markets greet the steam train every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday morning. There are many farm-gate suppliers in the region for you try our fresh produce. Kybong has "Hell Town Hotrods" as you imagine, this place is an Alladin's Cave for those into anything vintage, retro, car or petrol.... complete with a workshop for custom hotrod rebuilds. There is a neat cafe and bar on site too. Gympie is close by with the Heritage Museum, featuring the history of gold mining and industries of the area. You can learn how to pan for gold there then come back and practice in the creek. Art enthusiasts should drop in for morning tea at Chai Chai, and see what’s on exhibition at The ART POST then Gympie Region Art Gallery - both venues offer high quality exhibits and sale of artworks by our local artists. SoMa SoMa is where to go for awesome breakfast, brunches or lunches with delicious coffee, shakes and fresh juices also, open from 6:30am 7 days a week. The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

Hunchy Hills 4WD Bush Camping

Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans sorry, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot too if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.) Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush. Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer. Site 2 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons. Site 3 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. Site 4 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. Site 5 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons. ACCESS INFO SITES 1-3 & 5: STANDARD 4WD or walk in. ACCESS INFO SITE 4: LOW RANGE, VERY STEEP, EXPERIENCED 4WDERS WITH MIN AT TYRES. A seasonal creek runs through the property. We are located 3 minutes from Montville and 7 min to Palmwoods. There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

My sister and I camped at Grey Gums in tents with our toddlers and teens! It was a beautiful spot, plenty of room for everyone to space out and still have room to play! The scenery is absolutely stunning! Theres a beautiful creek with amazing mountain views. With horses and Daisy the cow behind you! Dean was an absolutely gem, he entertained our little ones with feeding the chickens and turkey! Kaylea was so wonderful with our toddlers and walking them around for pony rides! They are amazing hosts, helped us with local spots to go and anything we needed! Yabba Creek Farm is an unbeatable hidden gem, was the perfect spot for our toddlers first camping trip, we will definitely be going back again!

Spending a night at Little Bunya was truly a special experience. Carolyn, the host, was incredibly kind and gave clear, thoughtful explanations that made our stay at Riverdell unforgettable. The view was stunning, and the whole place had a nice, chill vibe. It was also a great spot for a peaceful walk, and perfect for visiting with kids. One last thing, don’t miss the Wagyu steak. Myself hubby and our 4legged old girl got to stay here at browns creek for a week Friday to Friday. The Monday inbetween was a public holiday but come Monday afternoon it was just us 3 for the rest of our stay, but even with others camping there was enough space for each camp to have their space and privacy - there was plenty of rain over the week here, you do need to pop it into 4wd getting in and out when it’s wet and just take it steady and you’ll be alright it’s solid under the mud. There’s a neat little spot near the table (we were lucky enough to get this spot) to your left off the main track in, plenty of grass, shade and the sound of the creek flowing you can also walk down into the creek (would be awesome here at summer) and all the birds around, it truely was peaceful and pretty. 15/20min drive into eumundi we checked out the markets, and utilised the free public dump point at Nambour (again like a 15min drive) it was near and tidy also topped up our water here - free water at the cemetery and a wheelie bin for a rubbish dump- just checked on wiki camps for the closest ones. We will definitely return

My partner and I were very happy with Rangetop Farm Ocean View Qld. The camp site was clean and huge private space to set up for the night. The view was spectacular. Host Viola was easy to communicate with. We even had friendly horses and cows greet us through the night which we thought was very cool. We could take our dog, have a fire, all we could want in a camping experience.

We are an accommodation camping grounds within Crystal Waters Eco Village. NOTE: No Dogs or Cats allowed. There are Toilets, Showers and Camp kitchen use included in the fees. Camping at the Eco Park is great for those who enjoy the relaxing bush setting, birds and wildlife and gazing into the clear night sky. We have an abundance of Kangaroos, Wallabies, other Australian native wildlife and many Bird varieties which is an attraction for many visitors. With powered or unpowered camping/van sites, plus bunkhouse single beds and private queen bedrooms, there are options to suit most visitors. A stay at the EcoPark is a great getaway from the stresses of city living. We provide amenities block with male and female toilets, hot showers, laundry, and a covered Camp Kitchen with cooking facilities, fridges and an oven. The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups. Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family. The Bakery is Open Saturday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees. The Conondale General store is a 10-minute drive away and Maleny is a short 25-minute drive filled with quaint cafes, Woolworths, IGA, and many attractive stores, art galleries and a bustling music venue. Public Free Wi-fi is available at the Ecopark and the Village Green/Deck.

Bring you own fire pits. All weather access road, if towing please use 4WD. GreyGum at Beattie Creek is a 64 Acre property a stones throw away from the centre of Kenilworth town. GreyGum is a horse property, playing host to a riding school. We have recently opened camping for horsey and non horsey people alike. With very limited camping spaces, we offer privacy, horse yards, hitching rails, a seasonal creek with swimming holes and toilets. Arena, round yard on property and off property trail riding is available at your leisure. There is spring fed dam if you wish to have a dip with your horse right on your camp sites. If you ask us how to ride to the pub or a donut, we are happy to direct you! (We like to ride to the pub for a beer!). GreyGum is a shady, lush and beautiful property with private access straight to Kenilworth state forestry trails (motorbikes and vehicles expected). To drive to camping space, you will need 4 wheel drive. In extreme weather events, we are unable to host. Noise must be kept to a minimum from 10.30 pm. Dogs are allowed, on leash at all times. All rubbish and mess must be taken with you. There are 2, spacious horse yards available, which can be split to 4 if you bring your own piggy tails and electric tape/equipment. If yards filled, there is space to set up your own pens. Horses must respect fencing. Trail rides, horse/ pony riding lessons (on our horses) and guided trails on your own horses are available if you need a guide through the extensive trails in the state forest. We are a small family run business and we live on the property. Please be respectful of us and we will happily share our beautiful property with you. Entrance to camp sight is on the KENILWORTH side of Beattie Creek, at the driveway with the GREEN BIKE. Please do not go up the steep drive on the Imbil side of Beattie creek. This drive is extremely difficult to get up with a float.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration. Our 1km private driveway is rough but if driven to conditions a 2wd has no issues.Most of the time space is abundant however if choosing to come on a long weekend, Easter or New Years expect it to be a lot busier than your average weekend with larger groups camping together, however still plenty of space between groups. You won’t ever have to trip over your neighbours tent ropes here. Eco friendly lakefront and near to lake front sites. Please don’t arrive expecting lakefront, our sites are all near to and Depending on group size not everyone will have lake frontage. We can never guarantee requests. We assign sites based on numbers and camping equipment. Furtherest camp spot is approximately 500m from amenities block, however porta loos are located in the remote site but it’s a walk or drive back to the showers. Flushing toilets and 2 hot showers available in main area. Please note: toilet cartridges are not to be emptied into our toilets. Take it home or dispose at dump point at Woodford ShowgroundsWe provide unpowered Bush camping, and we try to keep the camp sites as natural as possible, no flat pads. Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. There is also a bakery, 2 coffee shops, a pub with great meals, and a well equipped petrol station. There are markets every Sunday in the Main Street. Borumba Dam is 4.5kms up the road. It is perfect for boating enthusiasts who want to fish or do various water sports. If your preferred site is not available , shoot us a message , we may have an alternative for you:) Our rules are really not rocket science, don't take things that are not yours, use the toilets instead of our bush, don't cut down trees or damage things, that includes damaging trees, don't leave anything but ash in the firepit ,make sure the fire is fully extinguished, remove your rubbish and respect and consider your fellow campers and our neighbours. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups ( unless you would like to book out the entire property) Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush so you will feel like you are the only ones there. You are welcome to have a campfire in the provided fire pit or drum when there is no fire ban in place, however due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. You are most welcome to use your own off the ground firepit anywhere in your site. Please read site descriptions carefully as we have sites that are substantially different in access, privacy , level ground and distance to a toilet. We affectionately call our property "The Rustic Resort". This is a tribute to the rusty water tanks and dilapidated animal shelters that were left behind when we moved in. Our farm was once part of a thriving rural property in the 1920's. It used to be a dairy farm and then a banana farm. We now raise goats and cattle. Our property is dog friendly to responsible dog owners, we are happy for your pups to be off lead as long as you are the one in control. We have a large farm dam that never runs dry, (NO fishing please as we use this for livestock and swimming, and the last thing we need is hooks in peoples or animals feet. ) It is wonderful for a refreshing swim, there is a ladder to make it easier to get into the dam and during the summer months there are floating noodles for your use. Feel free to bring your paddle boards and canoes. We are centrally located to explore the Glass house mountains ( 20mins), Stoney creek (15min), Rocky holes (35min), Bribie island (40 min), Woodford (10min), Mt Mee (10min), Montville, Maleny (40min) and much, much more. We are 10 minutes from Woodford and the wonderful Woodford Folk Festival. "White Ridge Farm" in Elimbah is only 20 minutes from us, and the kids will love the interactive farm experience and cuddling the baby animals. Wamuran town centre has has an IGA, a wonderful butcher, bakery, bottle shop, 24 hour servo, a rural supply shop, fish and chip shop, a new pizza place and a Thai/Indian take away that is sensational. Wamuran holds a local country market every 4th Saturday per month from 7am to midday. There is a Woodfire pizza van in town 2 out of 4 weekends, look up Deadwood Pizza Wamuran to check the dates. We love them. If you would like to stay longer but feel like you need a shower occasionally, there is a public pool in Woodford and a public pool on King Street towards Caboolture , both are about a 10/15 minute drive from us. Wamuran is less than an hour north from the city, yet you will feel like you are far away. During the day you can enjoy a walk through the pine forest, and in the afternoon experience the incredible sunset vistas from our hill or from the luxurious outdoor bath. By night, sit by the firepit and gaze up at the stars while listening to the sounds of nature on the fig tree swinging chair. The outdoor bathtub is available for hire for the evening with prior notice, and will come with beautiful dried flowers, natural bath salts charged at $60 per use. We recommend our guests bring swimmers for the bath. During your stay you will have access to our outdoor shower and composting toilet with a view. These facilities are shared by 1 other person or if another camper stays, and we kindly request that our guests are mindful of water consumption as we are on tank water. Connection of power and water is an option for extra. Our campsites are also dog friendly as we love having your fur babies visit! However if you are bringing your furry companions with you, please ensure they are friendly with other dogs, kept on a lead and supervised at all times, as our baby chickens and miniature pigs like to explore during the day along with my dog who will constantly want to be around. Ready to explore outside the Farm? We’re just a short drive to Eumundi, Pomona or Cooroy for cute shops and markets, or venture 25 minutes to Noosa for a day at the beach and a variety of quality restaurants.
