During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings.
All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding.
Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek.
We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres.
We have 1km of creek frontage.
The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them.
It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots.
There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle.
This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower.
Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits).
The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure.
Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation.
The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more.
We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section.
Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

It may be a bit of a walk from some of the campsite. Under no circumstances leave toilet paper (among other very unpleasant things) in the bush surrounding the campsites.
We ask that you please take all rubbish with you on departure and leave the area as you found it. All camp sites must be left in the same condition as you found it absolutely no litter of any kind. Messy campers will be reported to Hipcamp. Under no circumstances place any rubbish in any of the rubbish bins along Reeves Road as our neighbours are very unappreciative of this.
All this is just 5 minutes from Imbil and Kandanga where you can find everything you need for a great camping trip.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and must not disturb other campers.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.
You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles.
Access is 4WD or AWD only.
In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather.

This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans.
The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town
up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens.
We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study.
While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets
must be kept safe with you at night.
Swimming pool on the farm can be used if requested through booking.

Our camping ground is in Amamoor in the beautiful Mary Valley.
It was once the local cricket pitch , so is a lovely flat spot to camp, with a mountain view to one side and our creek bordering the other 3 sides.
It is within minutes drive from the Amamoor General store so supplies are never far away.
It has easy access off Moorehouse Gully Rd and is fully fenced from the road.
Upon discovering the Mary Valley, we found our farm and fell in love with the views, the mango plantation and the gorgeous nearby villages.
Our property was once a pineapple farm and was part of a much larger property owned by the previous owners for over 60 years.
The Mary Valley Rattler steam train is a great addition to the history of the area and stops at our local village of Amamoor.
Amamoor has the village Green Cafe opened from Wednesday to Sunday and also is where the Rattler stops for refreshments on the weekends.
On Saturday afternoon you can visit Dagun station down the road for a wine tasting and find fresh produce at the station market.
With Kandanga village 10 minutes away, the Country Club and the Kandanga Hotel, a refreshing beer, a good meal and even a game of bowls is not far away.
Cycle the rail trail , kyak the Mary River and check out the State Forest and all its trails, there is so much to explore.
Cooran Brewery with live music Dingo Creek Winery a bit father on , and the coast only 50 minutes away, come and explore our wonderful part of the world.

Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.

During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings.
All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding.
Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek.
We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres.
We have 1km of creek frontage.
The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them.
It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots.
There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle.
This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower.
Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits).
The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure.
Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation.
The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more.
We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section.
Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched.
The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks.

This farm has been used as a working farm for around 40 years. This area is where the government planned a dam so generally we have water in the creeks. Most of the camp sites border the creek and all are designed to take caravans.
The house was the original Amamoor Head Ranger, Forestry division, home which was cut in two and relocated from town
up to the top of our hill. From here during the bush fire season you can see fires from Widgee, Kilcoy or the Sunshine Coast. We run on solar and rain water for everything in the house and creek or dam water for our orchards and gardens.
We run a variety of animals and several small orchards as well. Our creek runs into another near this causeway which leads to lots of water in a short time where it sounds like you are living on a beach. Always check with us beforehand if there has been heavy rain and there are several creeks in this area which leads to a rapid build up of water in a short time over many of the causeways out here. When there is water around, the creek will have lots of little fish and a large variety of frogs, some very weird looking ones to study.
While there are many animals on the farm, there are also wild animals who use it as their home and refuge so your pets
must be kept safe with you at night.

It was once the local cricket pitch , so is a lovely flat spot to camp, with a mountain view to one side and our creek bordering the other 3 sides.

It has easy access off Moorehouse Gully Rd and is fully fenced from the road.
Upon discovering the Mary Valley, we found our farm and fell in love with the views, the mango plantation and the gorgeous nearby villages.
Our property was once a pineapple farm and was part of a much larger property owned by the previous owners for over 60 years.
The Mary Valley Rattler steam train is a great addition to the history of the area and stops at our local village of Amamoor.
Amamoor has the village Green Cafe opened from Wednesday to Sunday and also is where the Rattler stops for refreshments on the weekends.
On Saturday afternoon you can visit Dagun station down the road for a wine tasting and find fresh produce at the station market.
With Kandanga village 10 minutes away, the Country Club and the Kandanga Hotel, a refreshing beer, a good meal and even a game of bowls is not far away.
Cycle the rail trail , kyak the Mary River and check out the State Forest and all its trails, there is so much to explore.

Directions into our Property-
Once you have turned into Uhlmanns road; the bitumen will turn to a dirt road. Look on your left - we are the second driveway on the left. it is gravel and dirt and goes up a small hill to the farm gates which will be open.
Once you have gone past the gate, the neighbours house is to your left along the fence line. Keep driving down the driveway; you will see an avenue of Camphor Laurel trees.
Camp site 1 is to the right of the trees on the flats of the front paddock. You will also see a fire pit.
We are now a working hobby farm and have animals free ranging on the property. If you wish to bring a pet, please ensure they are bird/ animal/ dog friendly.
Drive in and set yourself up.

Your campsite (Site 1 or Site 2) is thoughtfully positioned near a picnic table and within easy reach of essential amenities, including onsite outdoor toilets for comfort (please see photos). Beautifully designed wooden decks are available for setting up your tents, offering a peaceful and elevated space for a restful night’s sleep. Spend your days enjoying gentle walks, quiet sunsets, and the soothing chorus of birds, and your evenings gathered around the outdoor fireplace, sharing stories and warmth beneath a sky full of stars. We are located near Yurol State Forest and West Cooroy State Forest.
Our property is a peaceful and green nature haven teaming with wildlife.
Sit and enjoy the peace, visit the surf at Noosa or paddle/fish the Noosa river. There is a number of good markets to visit or you can take a bike ride through the Noosa trail. Our region features many local beer and gin distilleries and some great cafes/restaurants to enjoy the fantastic local cuisine.

This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. When towing 4wd advised and limit length of van/ trailer to 20 ft. You can either bring your own water or we can refill your water container for a fee (see Extras).

We welcome self-sufficient campers who seek to disconnect, rewild and enjoy an intimate camping experience. To ensure a private and relaxed environment, we limit the campground to two large sites within this paddock, providing ample space for caravans, campers, and tents. Each site covers approximately 900 square meters, allowing plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Nestled in a valley of rolling green hills beneath Mapleton National Park you'll find our beautiful property. Easy access from a well maintained dirt road. Cedar creek runs through the middle of the property for a nice refreshing swim in the swimming hole by the bridge or explore the meandering creek. There is a 4wd access road through to the mapleton national park for you to enjoy the hiking trails and nature.
We want your camping experience at Cedar Banks to be delightful while respecting our local community, wildlife, and surroundings.
To keep the area pristine, fires must be in allocated pits. You must bring your own wood or purchase some from us in advance and we will have it ready for you on arrival.
Pets are welcome with prior approval, but they must follow property rules. Swimming is allowed only during daylight hours, and caution is advised due to natural creek conditions. Jumping or diving is prohibited.
For the safety of all guests, property access is strictly for booked individuals, and non-paying visitors are not permitted. We encourage exploration on foot, as all areas are easily accessible. Please do not drive your vehicle around the property.
As there are no on-site toilets, kindly bring your own camp toilet and ensure proper waste removal. You will find a free dump point at Eumundi RV stop over on Napier road or in Kenilworth at the Showgrounds.
At Cedar Banks, we promote a friendly and respectful environment. Let's all contribute to a memorable and enjoyable camping experience by adhering to these simple guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE: Cedar Banks is currently seeking development approval from the Sunshine Coast Council to operate a function facility (i.e. venue) and hipcamp. We are therefore presently unable to conduct any tours or accept any camp bookings. An update will be posted when Council has made a decision on our Development Application.

Camps sites were well spaced so you felt private. Very clean with nice tree views. Close to river and town. Reasonable price. Could have had a mow as grass was very long. Very happy with our stay and would recommend if you want to be close to Kenilworth but not at the showgrounds as that can be packed.

Camping right next to the upper Mary River in a well maintained and presented spot, made for a very nice stay. The provision of kayaks for paddling the river was a bonus.
Libby’s attention to detail shone through with mown grassed areas, fireplaces and well spaced sites.

This was my second time camping at Yabba Creek Farm, this time at the Hidden Gem site. It is the most stunning location and I had the best time exploring Yabba Creek with the free kayaks provided.
The owners are lovely and do such a great job running this Hipcamp - toilets are always clean and check-in is easy and relaxed.
As a solo female camper I feel very safe here. I loved every minute of my stay and recommend this campsite to people all the time. I really don't see how it could be any better - thanks guys!!

We were met at the property by Kaylea who was super nice!! She led us to our site which was “Stones Throw”. She told us where the sun sets and rises etc so we could plan where we set up if we wanted shade etc. So helpful. We absolutely loved it. If I’m honest I didn’t think I was going to stay past the first night because of a spider or 2. Obviously not their fault but I was petrified lol. But so glad we stayed!!
We loved the kayaks, the creek was amazing, the property was well looked after. Looking at the mountains was great. It was quiet considering there were lots of people staying here. The loudest people were those staying at other hipcamps in the creek.
I will say the only thing is the toilets were a bit far away. There was no way in hell I was walking there in the middle of the night. But it wouldn’t stop me from coming back. Thanks Kaylea and Dean for opening up your paradise for us to enjoy! 😊

We love this spot and keep coming back to try all the different sites - all of them are amazing! One of the highlights has to be the kayaks provided and swimming in Yabba Creek - a fantastic way to spend the day, particularly in summer! And the hike up the hill to the viewing platform is a perfect spot for sunrise or sunset. It’s dog friendly too, and our two pups love their adventures here. Brian and Jeanna are great hosts and keep everything well looked after, with fire pits provided for each site. Each site is spaced out well to give privacy. There is a toilet block for those campers who aren’t self-contained, which is located a reasonable walking distance from the campsites. All in all it’s an absolutely beautiful property to enjoy a short or long stay, and we will definitely be back again!

Creek was flowing so enjoyed cooling off.

This was a magical place to camp. Rolling green hills and a stunning creek with free kayaks to use. Brian and Jeanna are so lovely and checked in to see we were ok. You can have campfires there in the designated fire pits and you can bring your fur babies on a lead. There are four flushing toilets. It’s so close to Imbil and a 25 minute drive to Kenilworth to go to the pub or to get supplies. It’s perfect.
