So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too.
You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. Located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing.
Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. Feeding happens between 4 and 6pm depending on time of year. We also have chickens that free range around the campsite at the front of the property who will happily take any of your scraps.

We had a fabulous time in our caravan on a powered site at Hidden Camp. The owner Callan was very friendly & helpful in making sure we had everything we needed.
We had no other campers near by, the property is so well set up in the way everyone is far apart. We felt like we were the only family camping. The kids explored everyday, went swimming in the dam, kayaks were a great hit too. We played Lazer Tag at night with other campers and had marshmallows around our own firepit.
The highlight for us city people were the free roaming animals, Camels, Donkeys, Horses, Foals, Cows, Ducks, we had a lot of fun petting them and learning all their names.
We will definitely return to Hidden Camp and would highly recommend others to book in.
Hidden Camp has powered sites, non powered sites and also self contained Tiny Homes.

We stayed for five nights and had a wonderful experience. The hosts, Callam and Leah, were fantastic from the moment we arrived. Callam showed us around and helped us choose an unpowered site.
At Hidden Camp, we were delighted by the friendly animals that live there, including donkeys, horses, camels, chickens, and ducks. We enjoyed exploring the property with its many scenic walks.
We will definitely come back for another stay!

We had a lovely stay at Rob-Lee-Rose Farm with another family while visiting for the turtle nesting tour.
The kids had an amazing time. They loved the man cave, especially the tabletop football and darts, and feeding the cow and sheep was a big highlight.
Having the small kitchen and bathroom close to the campsite was very handy, and there’s also a little shop nearby which made things easy.
Steven and Sandra were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.
A great spot for families and we’d happily stay again.

We had the BEST time at River Run Camping! The host was incredibly welcoming and made everything so easy from the moment we arrived. It’s super kid-friendly with great amenities - you can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the place fun and comfortable for families.
We packed so much into our stay: torch light scavenger hunts, animal bingo, swimming in the river, and endless trips down the slip and slide! Our daughter didn’t want to leave, and honestly, neither did we!
If you’re looking for a summer camping spot full of adventure, laughs, and memories - this is the place! Highly recommend! 🌞⛺️🌿

They had fun activities planned each day, the farm animals were amazing and super friendly and Michelle was amazing at accommodating our request to stay an extra night as we were enjoying our time so much! When to go
Book well ahead at any time of year, especially for camping on Fraser Island. During whale-watching season (August to October), the region is busy. The best weather is in Spring (September to November), when there is little rain and the summer humidity hasn’t kicked in yet.
Know before you go
- Allow at least three days to explore Fraser Island.
- On Fraser Island, it is illegal to feed or interact with dingos (wild dogs), which have been responsible for fatal attacks on visitors. Heavy fines apply.
- Whale watching season in Hervey Bay runs from August to October.
- Camping permits are required for all Queensland National Parks, forests and reserves and must be booked online and paid for before arrival.
