Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. This can take between 1-2 hours to get to the top Mount Elliot and flinders peak are in national Park area. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area. Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing . How to get to us? We have two ways in . Option 1: Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks . we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. Welcome to Emu creek Retreat One of the best destinations for hiking, camping, bushwalking, swimming, Kayaking, fishing, mountain bike riding (bicycles only), bird watching, 4wdriving and even fossicking, since the old gold mining town "Lunatics" was not far away from us. Dogs, men's best friend, are definitely welcome. If travelling in a 2wd please contact us before booking, some of the campgrounds have to be reached by crossing the creeks, Girard camp is one of them where the office and the showers are, at times this crossing is under water and is only accessible by 4wd. Other campgrounds are available near the entry gate that don't require a creek crossing for access and toilets are available on some of them. One side of the property is bound by Emu Creek and the other by Girard Creek, both creeks have enough water with some permanent deep water holes for all year activities. Sightseeing inside the property we have Girard Falls, a 50m deep waterfall, nature at it's best. The only entry into the property is by Emu Creek Rd a gravel road. Emu Creek Retreat is located in the far north-east of New South Wales. We are approximately 200 km from Brisbane, Toowoomba and Gold Coast, 150km from Byron Bay. Tabulam is the nearest town 12km away. Fuel and groceries are available at Tabulam along with a post office, pub and police station. Casino is 68km away and Tenterfield 78km. Once a working cattle property, in the 90's was converted into a camping and 4WD park. Since 2017 has been a family own and operated property, pet friendly, we are using the existing large camping grounds to convert it into a camping paradise. Two properties combined with close to 2800 acres, fronting Paddy’s Flat Rd for 2km and extends 7km to the back fence bordering a 22000 acre cattle property. The front section is undulating with plantation forest (spotted gum) and bushland, towards the back it has mountains, steep terrain and millions of trees with spectacular views and great hiking tracks.

Find us on a large property on the banks of the Timbarra River, located 20 km / 30 min south of Drake Village (an old gold mining community). We share the property with lots of wildlife, and with our resident cows. There is currently only one camping site accessible by car (the River Block), but if you're up for a trek we can point you to the back hills where you'll find a whole other world. Your hosts live further back on the property so you can find us if you need help. Please note there is no mobile reception, so it is a great way to get away from it all. There are no bins here... please remove all your rubbish on departure. Campfires are welcome (when no fire ban). You can bring your own firewood, or gather what fallen timber you can find. There is currently no toilet, shower or drinking water so please bring your supplies. Pets possible on request. Dogs, men's best friend, are definitely welcome. If travelling in a 2wd please contact us before booking, some of the campgrounds have to be reached by crossing the creeks, Girard camp is one of them where the office and the showers are, at times this crossing is under water and is only accessible by 4wd. Other campgrounds are available near the entry gate that don't require a creek crossing for access and toilets are available on some of them. One side of the property is bound by Emu Creek and the other by Girard Creek, both creeks have enough water with some permanent deep water holes for all year activities. Sightseeing inside the property we have Girard Falls, a 50m deep waterfall, nature at it's best. The only entry into the property is by Emu Creek Rd a gravel road. Emu Creek Retreat is located in the far north-east of New South Wales. We are approximately 200 km from Brisbane, Toowoomba and Gold Coast, 150km from Byron Bay. Tabulam is the nearest town 12km away. Fuel and groceries are available at Tabulam along with a post office, pub and police station. Casino is 68km away and Tenterfield 78km. Once a working cattle property, in the 90's was converted into a camping and 4WD park. Since 2017 has been a family own and operated property, pet friendly, we are using the existing large camping grounds to convert it into a camping paradise. Two properties combined with close to 2800 acres, fronting Paddy’s Flat Rd for 2km and extends 7km to the back fence bordering a 22000 acre cattle property. The front section is undulating with plantation forest (spotted gum) and bushland, towards the back it has mountains, steep terrain and millions of trees with spectacular views and great hiking tracks.

Find us on a large property on the banks of the Timbarra River, located 20 km / 30 min south of Drake Village (an old gold mining community). We share the property with lots of wildlife, and with our resident cows. There is currently only one camping site accessible by car (the River Block), but if you're up for a trek we can point you to the back hills where you'll find a whole other world. Your hosts live further back on the property so you can find us if you need help. Please note there is no mobile reception, so it is a great way to get away from it all. There are no bins here... please remove all your rubbish on departure. Campfires are welcome (when no fire ban). You can bring your own firewood, or gather what fallen timber you can find. There is currently no toilet, shower or drinking water so please bring your supplies. Pets possible on request. We had a small group of families. Mix of sleepers in the house and campers. You get all the freedom and natural surroundings of bush camping with the simple pleasures that come with a full resourced home. The creek is divine. The breezes ideal flowing under the verandah. We will be back.

Five wonderful nights spent tucked away at Eagles Rest in Findon Creek. Nestled in lush green hillside, this thoughtfully designed, purpose built home provided a peaceful sanctuary. We enjoyed everything from outdoor showers to refreshing dips in swimming holes and relaxing evenings around the fire pit under a star spangled sky. The space allowed us to be completely at one with nature, being surrounded by an abundance of bird song. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we look forward to a return visit. Thank you to our hosts Andrzej & Jane for responding promptly to any small queries during our stay.

It is so quiet and picturesque, the view is amazing. Jess has kept it simple yet everything you need is there. We went gold fossicking down the road for a bit of fun. There is a local shop nearby with the bare necessities at a reasonable price. Loved having a fire place .

Beautiful location for a long weekend! Peaceful, quiet setting with 360 degree views of bushland & mountains. We stayed as 2 families with kids. Loved the setup of the cabin & veranda overlooking grassed area to set up a fire or play. Gorgeous creek on the property provided many hours of exploring for the kids.

We stayed in the new cabin and it was perfect. Comfy bed, furnished and decorated beautifully. The little outhouse toilet was clean and located in a great position. The farm is in a good location and the animals are friendly. The sound of the running creek is extremely relaxing. We found good sized agates and common opal in the creek. We would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back again, hopefully soon. The hosts are super friendly and helpful.

You have to try the Brushtales Bush Cabin hosted by Jess to believe it. My son and I planned on camping, but the long range weather forecast predicted ridiculously low temperatures and a chance of showers, so we upgraded to Jess' cabin. Talk about having everything we needed. Hot showers, wood fire, warm beds and everything that the fully kitted out cabin had to offer. We really didn't need to bring anything! I was very disappointed when my son discovered NBN internet access. My son, not so much! 😀 Like others before me, I am already planning a return trip in the near future. Thanks. John.

We loved staying in JB's Cabin at Valley's End. It was the perfect space for two families to enjoy a relaxing weekend away. The outlook from the decks of the cabin is beautiful and the whole area so peaceful. Kids loved exploring the creek! We enjoyed having both the inside and outside fire places and the small space heaters in the bedrooms came in handy on a particular chilly morning! My small suggestion would be to add hooks or towel racks in the main bathroom. Thank you Jane and Andrzej for sharing you little piece of paradise with us and your warm hospitality.

Great spot away from the hustle and bustle of modern life…quite a drive away from any towns but that suited us just fine. Creek at the bottom of the drive for kids to play in, Cosy fire for winter and nothing but the sound of nature to greet you in the morning!
