This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek. The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes. Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! This is a 45 acre farm located approx 50 km north of Coffs Harbour and 30km south of Grafton and is just 500 meters from the Pacific Highway at Halfway Creek. The property is easily accessed by 2WD and is suitable for caravans and small to medium motor homes. Take a right turn as soon as you drive through the cream concrete entrance gates and follow the road down to the large cream shed. Here you will find manicured park-like gardens with a large dam - big enough to kayak on! There are numerous shady trees along the dam edges and you can also relax on the pontoon which overlooks the water. **Please note that the dam area is not fenced and may not suit campers with children. Campers must ensure they supervise their children at all times. This farm operates a cut flower business with over 10,000 rose bushes and has recently diversified with a large number of Australian wildflowers. The Timbarra or Rocky River is an area of great beauty southeast of Tenterfield with soaring mountains cradling the river flats and undulating hills below and is a renowned cattle breeding region. The Petrie family have been in Tenterfield since 1860 and have owned properties in the valley for over 100 years. Tim’s great-grandfather was known as Rocky Jack because of his extensive holdings. Cattle are still walked up to the Timbarra Plateau property from the river properties ‘Man From Snowy River’ style. The Plateau can be seen rising above the valley to the north from the confluence of Demon Creek and the Timbarra/Rocky River. These flow along the Demon Fault which is clearly visible on a satellite map. The 3 valley properties ‘Corner Camp’, ‘Boundary’ and ‘’Pavels’ combined with ‘Timbarra Plateau’ total over 25000 acres. The whole valley was part of 2 earlier large selections averaging 100000 acres which gradually became broken up in the late 1800s/early 1990s. There is a proud timber history in the valley and the surrounding forested mountains with large sections of State Forest now transferred to Washpool National Park which abuts both the eastern and western boundaries of ‘Boundary’ (which takes its name from Boundary Creek). The National Park and Forestland State Forest can be accessed to the west via the Billirimba Fire Trail. The eastern section of Washpool stretches across to the Clarence River, the largest eastern river in NSW. Washpool is where the Cedar King went missing and was never located. The Timbarra/Rocky River flows into the Clarence at Tabulam and then on to Grafton and out to sea at Yamba. The headwaters of the Rocky are all the way south to the Glen Innes Grafton road so the river can rise quickly if there is a downpour upstream. Interestingly when the Chinese gold miners left the Timbarra Plateau they came down with rickshaws into the Timbarra Valley then scaled the mountains to the west, near Boundary Creek, looking for their next gold diggings towards Glen Innes. The Boundary campsites at Boundary Riverside, The Cockatoo, The China Wall, and the Caves are all suitable for caravans, RVs, Camping trailers, tents and swags as is Timbarra Plateau. Corner Camp and Pavels are suitable for camping trailers, tents and swags. Boundary campsites access are all unaffected if the river rises however we will not take bookings at Corner Camp or Pavels in the likelihood of the river rising as we are committed to safety and avoiding inconvenience for guests. The Rocky is a very special place and we have campers who first came as children and are now bringing their grandchildren. We expect our guests to treat the area respectfully, and only leave footprints and tyre tracks. The valley provides wonderful scenery and settings for bushwalking, birdwatching, photography, painting, bicycle riding, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing, or just kicking back relaxing by the river, listening to the soothing sounds of the water, birds, and the turtles and platypus splashing, or being amazed at the mirror like images on the waters surface on a still day or the flickering light of a campfire at night and the stars above.

HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. I have come to love the Bungawalbin and have formed a very real bond with the whole area and have learnt so much in the journey. Like most parts of the East Coast the land has been badly managed since European invasion in the way of logging, grazing, farming and burning practices that have degraded the diversity of what was once possibly the most diverse part of Australia. The bush is resilient but there is a limit to what it can withstand and I fear this precious wetlands is disappearing fast. 5 years ago bushfires devastated the whole forest leaving very little undamaged and it is still struggling to recover. Then catastrophic flooding in 2022 destroyed the homestead. The property offers spacious, private campsites in a natural and tranquil setting. The Groundswell Guest Camp would love to welcome you to enjoy an exclusive camp in a tranquil native bush setting. The camp is located on 100 acres of unique grasstree forest in Taloumbi, NSW. We are just 10 minutes off the Pacific Highway, between Maclean and Brooms Head. The camp is currently set up for private use for one booking. Please contact the host first for group bookings (up to 15 persons). There is a sink with filtered rain water on the deck, an instant gas hot water shower behind the main deck and also a compost toilet. There is a small solar power set up to run the sink and shower pump. The site in OFF-GRID on tank water only, so it is important to be mindful of water use and make sure taps are off when not in use. Bring your own cooker, lights and chairs. Mosquitos come and go depending on weather or season. It is good to be prepared with coils/sprays just in case. Pets are welcome, but must be on a leash if they are a threat to wildlife. You can swim in the dam when full. Never Never Park is a Sub-Tropical Rainforest property which borders the ancient Gondwana World Heritage National Park on 2 sides including along Coopernook creek. Located half an hours drive Northeast of Dorrigo and 1 hour West of Coffs Harbour (via Eastern Dorrigo Way) in the beautiful Bellingen Shire, surrounded by various National Parks with 4WD tracks, crystal clear creeks, waterfalls, cascades, swimming holes and picnic areas. The property is 400 acres featuring spring fed mountain streams, cascades and waterfalls that run through its central gorge. First surveyed in 1906 and logged in the days of bullocks and hand saws, remnants of a bygone era remain including the “Jack Feeney Memorial Giant Tallowwood Tree”, a Champion Tree of Australia listed in the National Register of Big Trees. Hacketts Haven is our 68 acre property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 14 metres clear/elevated from the river (which makes it very safe if the river was to rise above minor or moderate flooding). A truly unique camping experience overlooking the wide spanse of the Clarence only a short distance from the small village of Copmanhurst, perfect for a group booking of up to 20. Enjoy your own private site with a sandy beach @40m below site, east of the Copmanhurst boat ramp. Take a walk down the steepish soft sandy cattle tracks to the waters edge and enjoy yourself. Note: Sand can be very hot! Obedient dogs permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. No amenities so campers need to BYO everything they need and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place - check with host. NOTE: No treated wood to be brought or burnt on the property The Rest Point Hotel sells bags of firewood. As per Hipcamp guidelines, be fire safe, dispose of garbage responsibly and leave no trace. The grass is left lush for the roaming cattle to enjoy, however we will endeavour to slash the 40+ acres and/or whipper-snip around firepits when possible. Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Wayper Creek flows though the property, and there are manicured lawns, a large toilet and shower block with hot showers, a caravan dump point, a large BBQ shelter, firepit, and lots of lovely spots to enjoy the plethora of wildlife.
