A small convenient rural property flanked by natural bushland and pasture. Lots of native wildlife bouncing, flying, walking through at dusk and dawn. We have several shaded areas surrounding small dams and springs, scattered throughout the 20 acres. Located approximately 1km off Big River Way (formally the Pacific Highway) this is approximately 2km from the New Highway off-ramp. We are fortunate to have a sealed road to the front gate. The allocated camping area is 500 metres inside the front gate, located in-front of our front dam. The House is located 1km from the front gate. Currently, we do not have any livestock on the property. Dog friendly. No amenities so campers need to have own camping toilet and leave no trace. Good access for 2WD, caravans and RVs. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place, and there is a fire-pit available. BYO firewood or gather your own from the fallen branches or logs in and around the campsite.

This campsite is suitable for tents, caravans, camper, campervans, RVs or any other self-sufficient short term travellers and explorers. The plot has a gently inclining rise leading up to a small dam surrounded by well established native trees.  There is a State Forest to the right as you enter, and paddocks with cattle to your left. You may be able to hear the slight hum of highway traffic as we are only 1km from the rest area.  You must be self-contained and have your own toilet, and leave no trace. We can cater for all types of camping vehicles including caravans, campervans and camper trailers. Enjoy grassy areas with forests in parts of the property. The sunsets are beautiful here. We are dog friendly. Campfires permitted.

Thank you so much again for allowing us to stay on your property. We love how peaceful it is and definitely find it hard to leave. We had an enjoyable weekend at the Jacaranda Festival and will be back next year.

Great spot for us to stay overnight to break up our trip. Yes we got a little bogged but it was our bad for not checking as Scott had told us there had been a lot of rain. But hosts to the rescue and towed us out and we had a lovely cup of tea and chat on the verandah so a little bit of drama adds to the trip. Had a great night sleep and woke up to frogs and a misty morning 🐸🌥️🙏

Great location and peaceful. Loved seeing the wildlife and hearing the birds.. Even though it rained we had no issues. Hosts Pat and Scott were friendly. Will definitely be back again.

Nice and close to Grafton. Stayed one night for the Jacaranda Festival and Scott and Pat were very accommodating as we booked a bit last minute but they were still happy to welcome us. Thank you heaps!

Loved the site. It was level, easy to find, quiet and peaceful. Close enough to the M1 but far enough not to hear it. I really enjoyed this place. Great hosts too!

Beautiful property & a huge camp site with heaps of room & fire pits. Easy to get to with tarred roads all the way to the driveway. Great location not far off the highway. Great price. Highly recommend it & would definitely come back again.

We arrived late at night and the owner so kindly came out to meet us and introduce himself and where we will be camping, had already made a pile of firewood for us and prepared a fire for us to light straight away! The location was top notch and it was so clean and easy to camp on! Can recommend to stay here ! We will be staying here again 😊

The property was not far off the highway, easy to find thanks to Scott’s instructions, he was a very welcoming host and was waiting at the gate when we arrived. We decided to stay here for one night prior to entering the Queensland border. You need to be self sufficient, leave no trace behind and carry insect repellent (dam on the property) it also rained the night we camped, overall happy with our stay!

It was a beautiful quite camp with lots of birdlife to keep me amused. My 2 lottle dogs enjoyed watching the birds and roos from a distance. I would highly recommend the Front camp. Great hosts and the odd visitor to say G'day.

For us this was a week off instead of going to Queensland... Great being close to a forest, kangaroos hopping around, kookaburras in the evening. Camp-site as described with a wonderful host, with loads of genuine free range eggs! Thanks for letting us stay.

Great spot with easy access to the highway. We shared the lovely spot with lots of birds and kangaroos at dawn and dusk. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Front Campground
We were looking for 2 relaxing nights away from traffic and lights where we could look at the stars. We found it with Scott and Pat, his mother. They were so unobtrusively welcoming, and concerned that we had all we needed. Pat even offered an extra blanket. We will certainly stay there again
