Just 30 minutes from Woodgate Beach and an hour from Bargara and Hervey Bay beaches, our serene retreat is the perfect escape. Located only a 5-minute drive from Cordalba State Forest, you’ll have easy access to scenic walks, mountain bike trails, and horse riding adventures. There are also bush tracks leading out from the property Bundaberg is an easy 30 minute drive and Childers 15 minutes. Experience the charm of our countryside with supervised visits with our horses and Highland cows. Join us around 4:30 pm for the afternoon feed and grooming session. (Please note: The Highland Coos are away visiting a bull December and January 2025) Relax and enjoy a meal at the BBQ area, which overlooks the horse arena. If you bring your horse, for an additional fee, you can explore our arena featuring dressage letters, obstacles, drums, and jumps, or test your skills in a dedicated area with permanent obstacles. For your convenience, our well-equipped camp kitchen includes a fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, and microwave, along with all the necessary cutlery and crockery. If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. There are rakes and wheelbarrows provided near the arena and at the end of the stables for your convenience. The fantastic views, friendly farm animals, and the three loving ponies created a wonderful atmosphere that made our stay so memorable. The level site made our setup a breeze, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time there. We had a fantastic experience and can’t wait for our next visit to explore more of this beautiful haven. It is a great spot. Nice and easy access to Childers Love how it has been set up. Lots of room between campsites. Brilliant fire pit setup, best I have seen for safety. The showers and toilets are so cute! A lot of thought and personal touches have been put into the design. The shower is on a timer which definitely needs some adjustment to get hot water through before it cuts out but Im sure the owner will look into that. Definitely worth checking out!

Circles in the forest was fantastic. The camp kitchen and amenities were incredibly unique and beautiful. The site is a bit out of the way if coming from the highway and you have to drive a bit through the forest to get to the site but it was lovely. One thing to note is that the showers are on a 4 minute timer and turn off for 5 minutes in between. The lights in the amenities only work after dark, but I believe this is in line with their eco-friendly approach. Gary met us at the entrance and was very friendly and informative. We would recommend this campsite! :)

Unreal views, friendly animals coming through to hang out at our site (Pancake the Shetland Pony and the lovely gentleman duck were definitely crowd favourites!), gold mining & a very hospitable host - Col was fantastic, super informative and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Great amenities to top it off, we will 1000% be coming back😄

Weekend Trip to Circles In The Forest bush camp

Such a Thoughtful & Beautiful Campsite! We were so impressed by how well thought out this place is. The brand-new flushing toilets and the gorgeous shower—cleverly built inside a converted water tank—were absolute highlights. The camp kitchen was spotless and fully stocked with everything a camper could need, which made meal prep super easy. Each of the 20 sites has its own fire pit (huge bonus!), and firewood is available for just $5 a wheelbarrow on an honesty system. It’s peaceful and quiet, just 5 minutes off the highway, nestled on over 200 acres with lovely walking tracks if you feel like exploring. Everything was perfect—seriously, not a single complaint. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that because the facilities are quite open-air, spiders and webs could be an issue, but I’m sure the owners are on top of keeping things clean and tidy. Highly recommend—this is camping done right!
