Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up. Please note... our campsite has been ongoing since 2017 and campers have kindly shared their many happy memories. Over the years, things change. Please take the photos lightly. There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic! Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers. Portaloo toilet available at the campsite. What a wonderful spot for some peace and quiet! We had a great lunch at the Maryvale pub before heading down. Well maintained camping area, nice level ground and a good-sized fire pit. The creek is beautiful, the stars are amazing, and satellite spotting is always fun. The cows and horses dropped by too!

Great trip, so easy to get to from Brisbane so perfect for a Friday getaway. Well maintained spot, was greated by the owners and then had complete privacy for the rest of the time. The nearby creek was pretty but not quite deep enough to cool off however there are many rock pools and waterfalls 5mins up the road at cedar creek. Pups had a great time too. Thank you!

A peaceful spot with gorgeous views! The property is beautifully kept and the hosts are friendly and welcoming, but also give you privacy to enjoy your stay. The creek next to the site is so picturesque and great for a wander and cooling dip of your feet - if you want more of a swim, it’s only a short drive up the road to Cedar Creek Falls. We stayed with a small group of friends and all of our dogs, and had such a relaxing time. We will be back! Thank you Clair and Andrew.

From the moment I rounded the bend and looked down on the camp-site, I knew I was somewhere special. A large flat grassy space with a ready-made firepit, right beside a creek lined with trees. The hill behind the site means this beautiful spot is secluded, and you have it all to yourself! We saw and heard maybe half a dozen cars drive past the whole time we were there, and the only other sounds were birds and insects, and of course the resident beasts! One of my dogs was not very keen on the horse and cattle visits! But they were inquisitive and friendly, and my other dog got to say hello. The creek was gently babbling and the perfect temperature, with easy access to get cooled off and sit and enjoy the serenity. If you're a self sufficient camper who loves your own space, do not go past this spot! I will be back as soon as I can manage it. 🙂

We enjoyed our stay at WeeFarm. It was lovely and secluded with a small flat area to set up our rooftop tent. The directions were easy to follow. The two little dogs greeted us enthusiastically on arrival. We are not fishing people but there were tons of fish in the river and we enjoyed watching them jump around at sunset. What a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Clair and Andrew for openjng it up for us. Clair and Andrew are amazing hosts. There is nothing to worry about, they have thought of everything. Access is easy, the camping spot beautiful. Truely nature lovers, the farm is great to wander through and the opportunity to enjoy a secluded part of Cedar Creek is very special. We took our doggos and they had the time of their lives. Do yourself a favour and let Clair prepare a fresh vegetable box with eggs. All from the farm. Sigh, it was hard to leave. But luckily it so close to Brisbane well just have to come back.

Probably the best camp I’ve ever been to! This was the first time my partner and I have been camping on our own in a new car and it couldn’t be more beginner friendly. The directions were very clear and the campsite was easy to get into, the track was rather fun for a first 4x4 run too. The location was beautiful and despite a bit of rain, the water was perfect for swimming and fishing. We managed to catch 8 different species of fish in just a few hours. We didn’t meet the hosts on our trip but if anything, it just added to the private feel and the doggos were welcoming on arrival 😆 I really couldn’t recommend this spot more and we hope to come back soon for longer. P.S beware of the bandicoot, he knows how to open zips and pinched a slice of bread on the first night 😅

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. We are only 8 minutes from shops in town and a short drive for all of the Scenic Rim's attractions. We are in the heart of The Scenic Rim. The camping grounds is private and picturesque in our back paddocks - looking back over our olive grove and out to the great dividing range. We have fire pits set up in the camp area - please bring an extinguisher, wood and matches. The camp grounds has an easy access and campers have had no issues levelling out on the gentle slope or go higher up the paddock to the trees and the ground is level with the best views of the mountain ranges. Olive View Farm is ideal for self sufficient campers. At the front of the property near the bus shop we have permanent picnic tables set up for anyone to use. Dogs on a lead are welcome - we have lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies and we want to protect them. We are always on site and happy to help with anything you need. *Please note any negative feedback for camping received was from a festival that took place on our property in 2022 and the event organisers promised the campers facilities and did not deliver. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out.
