The camping was fantastic. Was a little confusing when first arrived, but worked it out pretty quickly. The number on the letter box at the top of the dirt road threw us, but you just turn down the dirt road and you are there. We camped down the back under the trees. was nice and shaded.
You can hear the trains which are extremely loud of a night but i didn't mind that at all, was quite soothing. On the second night you couldn't hear them at all, they blended in with every other nature sounds.
They do have toilets on the property, just be mindful of fellow campers using them as well.
The water in the creek was very clear and inviting, was magical early morning with the sunrise watching the ducks and water birds, was peaceful.
The birds have nests in the trees. Great to watch as they fed their young ones.
We had 2 dogs with us and they loved every second exploring and swimming.
Was great getting back to nature.

It's a nice spot the train noise didn't bother us. The creek was good for a swim. Plenty of trees around for shade. The ground where clean and mowed. Handy spot with shops at withcott only 5 mins away.

Very peaceful spot.
No issues with train noise at all.
Wood was dry and made a great fire.
Only 15 min drive to Jubilee park MTB Trailhead- with some awesome trails.

The camping area was nice but not close to the water like I had hoped. I was a little confused about the fact that we had to bring our own toilet but there was a few toilets there but I didn't mind bringing our own. It was nice that no one else was camping there and I guess that's what you are paying for although I thought the price could be cheaper considering the lack of facilities. The trains were quite frequent and noisy but we were definitely pre-warned about that so not that bad really.
The fire pit was great and it was nice being able to gather fallen logs from around the site area.

Great spot, relatively flat, easy access for big rigs, awesome river a short walk from the camp site. Self check in with easy to follow instructions.

This is a great little spot only 20 minutes drive from Toowoomba. The camp site was well maintained with well looked after grass just like the photos suggest. There was ample firewood nearby, I'd recommend taking a saw, I forgot mine but I could break enough up.
The creek was great, about a 200m walk from the camp site. With a sandy beach and a lagoon for swimming or kayaking which extended around 200m in length.

Such a relaxing place to visit, to unwind and be surrounded by nature. No train noise which we were expecting after reading reviews. The creek was a lovely visit! So much firewood for a warm fire on these cold nights!

Absolutely lovely spot! Fantastic directions and beautifully mowed lush grass to camp on.
Nice firepit location and very tidy setup.
The creek was a short walk away which was perfect for swimming and taking the paddle board! Perfect for pups and plenty to do :)

Fantastic spot amongst the tall gum trees parked up in nicely mowed grass… perfect.
Wake up to the sound of the Aussie bird life, and sound of mooing calves.
Thank you to Kent and Kym for a wonderful few nights camped up in your backyard.
PS: The trains are no cause for alarm… we slept with no disturbance…!!

We stayed at the premium site. Good level site with concrete pad. Great views and sunset. Most enjoyable.

We stayed at the premium site and it didn’t disappoint. Near level parking bay with a concrete slab to walk out onto. Awesome view and it was nice to have the lawn well looked after around the area. Corella’s and white Cockatoo's galore in the afternoon. A short walk or drive down to the creek. Large area for swimming. Picturesque place. Kym was extremely welcoming when we arrived late and directions were spot on. A few trains around but drown out after a while. Great place to base yourself to visit the surrounding towns and small villages. Thanks Kym.

The campsite was very well maintained, plenty of room away from other campers (there were only two other groups of campers during our stay), with close access to the creek. It would be lovely to visit when the flower garden was in full bloom. The only downside to our stay was the noise of the coal freight trains going past just across the creek day and night - perfect if you are a train watcher ; not so great if you are wanting peace and quiet and a good night's rest.
Also, the Hipcamp App link to Google Maps directs you to the wrong side of the creek. However, typing in the address manually into Google Maps gets you to the right location.

Kym’s property is absolutely beautiful. The fact that only a limited amount of campers are allowed at one time is awesome so you’re not piled on top of each other. There’s plenty of space. The short walk to the creek is lovely and so worth it because when you get there it’s a gem. We did kayaking, swimming and fishing. There was plenty of firewood for us to use. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.
