Wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy a relaxing base to discover what Hervey Bay has to offer. We are on 19 acres with goats, chickens, a rooster and cows. Only 10 mins away from K’gari(Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads, and you can leave your van here for a small fee. It is an 8 min drive to the local food works, BP servo, chemist and a 12 min drive for takeaway options. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided. Families are welcome although children must be fully supervised at all times as we do have a very large dam on the property with ducks and turtles. We do not provide water so please make sure you have some before arrival.

Good access for all types of vehicles, Buxton is a small fishing town situated on the banks of the Burrum River at the southern end of the Isis Shire. It's about 20 kilometres off the Bruce Highway and upstream from Burrum Heads and Walkers Point. There is a general store, picnic facilities and boat ramp. Buxton offers a relaxed lifestyle with pleasant surroundings. Boat enthusiasts are able to explore four river systems from this village. Dog friendly (refer rules please!). We have planted 800 native trees at the camp to date. We are off grid solar and recycle most of our waste at our on site recycling station. Music was great and host is friendly and helpful. Booking an exact campsite would have been more ideal - as we were the last of our group to arrive and there was no clear area left for caravan. Ended parking along roadway in front of other two vans- worked well but not ideal. Thank you for a good weekend.

Billabong Breeze is a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful — they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. The grounds are beautifully maintained with large, lush grassy areas that are nicely spread out, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy and the billabong is a nice touch! The toilets were impressively clean and well looked after. It’s clear that a lot of care and pride goes into keeping this place in top condition. Whether you’re after peace and quiet, a scenic escape, or just a well-run campsite with lovely hosts, Billabong Breeze ticks every box. We’ll definitely be back! 😀👍

We had a lovely stay at billabong breeze. Large sites & very accommodating hosts. George is always up for chat & comes around to make sure everything is ok. Road noise is there but after a night you don’t seem to notice it. It was a long weekend so probably more traffic than usual. Sublime brewery is a few minutes drive up the road & is worth going to for entertainment & a meal.

Great space for camping. Lotsof good flat grassed for our setup. Even though there were lots of people we didn't feel on top of each other or other campers. Facilities are great. Nice hot showers and camp kitchen. The band were fabulous on the Saturday night. Bushie was available for any questions. Great place to stay for the long weekend.

Beautiful spot to camp & relax for a few days. Very friendly owners & it was lovely & quiet with pretty views of the stream in front of the sites. Good spot as only 35 mins from Rainbow beach so it was nice to do a trip there but was also great to just chill out in nature! Easy access to water & portable toilet.
