Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry. We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner. There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date. We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. We are 10 minutes from Hervey Bay and 10 minutes from the K'Gari (Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads. and only 10 minutes drive to Hervey Bay's beautiful beaches We are building a productive, diverse permaculture farm incorporating a market garden, food forest and small volume egg production. From your campsite, on our farm block, you will have sensational views to K'Gari (Fraser Island) whilst being surrounded by 27 acres of bushland that is reserved for nature and registered with Land for Wildlife. Expect to see amazing colours at sunrise and sunset. Enjoy the many birds and animals that you will see as you spend time exploring our bush and farm. 90 acres of natural bushland with 300 meters of Mary River frontage. This is a great place for a base camp to explore the region. Campsites are nestled amongst trees. There's nothing here but peace and quiet, spacious sites. The banks of the river are quite high and there is limited access into the water. There are 2 boat ramps about 7 or 8 klms from the property. Arrive between midday and 2pm if possible so you can set up your camp. Don't forget to bring your insect repellent as you are in the bush and beside the river. We have also just built a shelter shed/camp kitchen have 1000 litre water pods. No rubbish bins at the camp so bring everything you need & remove everything you bring. - Dogs welcome. The Ridge traverses the entire length of Evergreen. From the ridge you have views in all directions. We have a beautiful large dam, where our Dam campsite is located, that is home to turtles, water dragons and birds. We are dog friendly and also wheelchair accessible in the Bush Kitchen and Wallaby Wash House. Bertha the Retro van and Gertrude the Gypsy Wagon are not wheelchair accessible. Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath. 24 hour security access to your own private campsite. Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry. We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner. There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date. We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too. You may be moved to a different site if your chosen site is too wet. We use Good Riddance products for the midges & mozzies during summer because it works, its non toxic + deet free. We have dry firewood (hardwood) available on the verandah for $15/15kg crate. There are plenty of sites to choose from. One vehicle = 1 site - more than 1 vehicle can fit on any of the sites.

Virtue Farm is a 33 acre property overlooking K'Gari (Fraser Island). It includes 27 acres of remnant forest which will never be developed. The forest is an oasis for bird life, koalas, echidnas, and other animals and is great for walking. You will see loads of kangaroos to your site. You must have your own toilet to stay here and be able to remove all grey water. Our regional council does not allow us to host swag/tent campers. Tents and swags may be permitted if accompanied by an RV or caravan, please ask us first. Virtue Farm is a council approved self-contained recreational vehicle ground. Arrival after dark is by prior arrangement only as we have no lighting on the farm. We are 10 minutes from Hervey Bay and 10 minutes from the K'Gari (Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads. and only 10 minutes drive to Hervey Bay's beautiful beaches We are building a productive, diverse permaculture farm incorporating a market garden, food forest and small volume egg production. There's nothing here but peace and quiet, spacious sites. The banks of the river are quite high and there is limited access into the water. There are 2 boat ramps about 7 or 8 klms from the property. Arrive between midday and 2pm if possible so you can set up your camp. Don't forget to bring your insect repellent as you are in the bush and beside the river. We have also just built a shelter shed/camp kitchen have 1000 litre water pods. No rubbish bins at the camp so bring everything you need & remove everything you bring. - Dogs welcome. Welcome to 'Evergreen' a 2500 acre property in Gundiah on the banks of the beautiful Mary River. We are beef cattle graziers and we have a 1500 fruit tree orchard. We work hard, yet enjoy relaxing by the river. We have working dogs, 30 free range chickens, 3 donkeys, 1 house cat, 1 parrot and approximately 750 head of cattle of various ages. You can learn about the farm and book one of our tours, or just relax and enjoy the views. Join us for Sundowners & Dinner at the homestead on Saturday night only. Sundowners in the paddock for sunset followed by dinner at the house. We offer a number of options, three of which are open to camping of all types from tents through to motorhomes. The Hut campsite is a flat 'ledge' that has on old hut built on it. This old hut is derelict now, however, the original owner used it for 'tordoning crews'. The Ridge traverses the entire length of Evergreen. From the ridge you have views in all directions. We have a beautiful large dam, where our Dam campsite is located, that is home to turtles, water dragons and birds. We also have the Beachy River campsite which is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles and walk in campers. Guests must be self-contained with own toilet. Campfires permitted.

We had a fabulous time in our caravan on a powered site at Hidden Camp. The owner Callan was very friendly & helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. We had no other campers near by, the property is so well set up in the way everyone is far apart. We felt like we were the only family camping. The kids explored everyday, went swimming in the dam, kayaks were a great hit too. We played Lazer Tag at night with other campers and had marshmallows around our own firepit. The highlight for us city people were the free roaming animals, Camels, Donkeys, Horses, Foals, Cows, Ducks, we had a lot of fun petting them and learning all their names. We will definitely return to Hidden Camp and would highly recommend others to book in. Hidden Camp has powered sites, non powered sites and also self contained Tiny Homes. 10 out of 10 for Hidden Camp

We had a very relaxing time and the hosts were really great... There's quite a lot of animals roaming around the property and they aren't shy about dropping into camp and introducing themselves... Made friends with a donkey and a few camels! The dam is great for kids swimming... Will be back for sure... If you are thinking taking a break in bush surroundings you will love Hidden Camp!

There was plenty of room to have several campers and lots of space in between sites. I arrived after dark, was able to find a relatively level spot and remain hooked up (drive through). I was only there for an overnight stay during a long-haul trip I cannot really speak to a more long-term stay — it was nice and quiet and I felt safe as a single female traveller.

We stayed for five nights and had a wonderful experience. The hosts, Callam and Leah, were fantastic from the moment we arrived. Callam showed us around and helped us choose an unpowered site. At Hidden Camp, we were delighted by the friendly animals that live there, including donkeys, horses, camels, chickens, and ducks. We enjoyed exploring the property with its many scenic walks. We will definitely come back for another stay!
