For swimming, we have 3 dams to choose from; and a creek which meanders through the back corner of the property; some very heavy wooded areas or more grassy areas. Come to the main house for a coffee, sit down and share a yarn or two around a camp fire. Fishing and yabbying permitted on a catch and release basis. Outdoor movies, or have a game of darts. Bushwalking and birdwatching. Fires are accepted as long as there are no fire bans in our area.

Located just over 30 minutes from Toowoomba you will find the Pittsworth Camping Area, enjoy a country experience only a stones throw from the city. Drive into Pittsworth to look at the monument of the Australian World Record Sprinter from the early 1900s, or look at the huge artwork/memorial of Moore’s Trailers. There is a rock fire pit available for campers to relax around in the evenings and enjoy the sunsets. Campers will need to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take their waste with them on departure. Our property is located an hour from Toowoomba, 15min Dalby, 5min Kaimkillenbun (The Bun), has stunning views to the Bunya Mountains from all campsites. All Sites have views of the Bunya Mountains. Easy access sites, for short/long stays. We also have a campsite near the dam, which is full after good rains. The other sites are in elevated positions, that look down the valley towards the Bunya Mountains. The town of Kaimkillenbun (6 km) is known by locals as 'The Bun' easy driving distance to the "Bun Pub" which was built in 1912 and is a great spot to visit for a drink/meal if you are coming to the area. We are 30 minutes' drive, from the Bunya Mountains National Park which has a variety of different hiking/cycling trails which include lookouts and waterfalls. Campfires are allowed, permitting there are no restrictions in place. Campers must be self sufficient, bring their own toilet and take all waste with them on departure.

Arrived on a windy day, so definitely Windy Acres! Camped away from the dam, but still very private and not too much road traffic. Great spot for watching the sunset, and nice range of birds to spot. I think the scones are the best I've ever had....!

A lovely spot to stay, spacious, drive through sites. The amenities were very well kept, nice and clean. I enjoyed the morning birdsong, and a walk through the treed area full of birds. The groundsmen do a fabulous job watering keeping the place green.

Lovely grassy spot with great views. Enjoyed our fire watching it get dark and seeing the lights over Toowoomba after dark. There was a fair bit of road noise but this did not bother us or wake us during the night. Easy to find. Would recommend.

I absolutely loved the Valley Views campsite and it was such a peaceful location. Had the cows and new calves visit me one morning which was extra special. Laura and Neil were very friendly and took me up to the campsite. Unfortunately there were a lot of thunderstorms around each night so left a day earlier than anticipated but intend on coming back when the weather has settled.
