All sites are private and secluded with great views, great sunsets, and starry night skies. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife including Red Necked Wallabies, Possums, Rufus Batongs, Bandicoots and Echidnas.
There are seasonal creeks and waterfalls and wildflowers. Campers may occasionally be visited by a herd of friendly goats that like soft drink and chips. We often have baby goats and alpacas that are being hand reared which are popular with kids and adults alike.
Dogs are permitted but have to be quiet and restrained. Campfires permitted at our discretion (please ask first - depending on weather conditions). You'll need to BYO wood.
Campers MUST have their own toilet. The standard "Pack it in. Pack it out" rules apply.
All sites are accessible by STANDARD HEIGHT 2WD however 4WD may be required if towing.
There is a 'special' site reserved for Larger RVs and Caravans.

Our property is located an hour from Toowoomba, 15min Dalby, 5min Kaimkillenbun (The Bun), has stunning views to the Bunya Mountains from all campsites.
All Sites have views of the Bunya Mountains. Easy access sites, for short/long stays. We also have a campsite near the dam, which is full after good rains. The other sites are in elevated positions, that look down the valley towards the Bunya Mountains.
The town of Kaimkillenbun (6 km) is known by locals as 'The Bun' easy driving distance to the "Bun Pub" which was built in 1912 and is a great spot to visit for a drink/meal if you are coming to the area.
We are 30 minutes' drive, from the Bunya Mountains National Park which has a variety of different hiking/cycling trails which include lookouts and waterfalls.
Campfires are allowed, permitting there are no restrictions in place. Pets are to be retrained at all times, due to livestock on the property. Campers must be self sufficient, bring their own toilet and take all waste with them on departure.

The campground has a stunning view of the Bunya Mountains which is literally a stones throw away. It’s also at the end of a road with no through traffic which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The campground is big enough to host large groups. There are opportunities for guests to see a cow milked, pat and feed farm animals and go for guided walks. We also have a large communal fire pit. The stars are spectacular at night above us and as we are over 600 metres above sea level, they seem so much closer 😍
Bell has a fantastic coffee shop 10 minutes away and the Kaimkillenbun Pub has great meals and entertainment. The Bunya Mountains also has cafe’s and rainforest walks. If you’re looking for a relaxing couple of days, consider coming to our little piece of paradise. You’ll love watching the stunning mountain views change each day and listening to the bird life. A beautiful camp site on a working farm. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. Beautiful little hut next to a dam that had a big family of ducks living in it.
Easy access, which can be accessed by any car. Ripper spot to spend a couple of nights away switching off from the world. Definitely recommend!

What a great spot! The powered sites are very big and just what I was looking for, and Caitlin was more than hospitable for us during our stay. They are currently installing a small toilet/shower block which will enhance this place even more. Definitely recommend staying here if you can, the friendly dogs were also an added bonus!

Lovely big barn set up for weddings but could be used for any celebrations.
The farm fresh eggs great extra treat very yummy.
Lovely outlook at the Knob with accommodation and the shower / bath hut was very nice would enjoy an amazing bubble bath for two.
Gave Nick and idea for an open outdoor shower to take advantage of the view.
Great selection of farm yard animals great toy kids too.

Peace, Serenity, Cows, Stars and a lovely friendly host. This is what you can expect when staying here at Bunya Mountain View. We had a lovely stay here and took our caravan up to the top of the hill. Directions were easy to follow and Chris was just awesome to deal with.

Our hosts were welcoming and guided us to campsite and gave advice for where to eat in town. Behind us were a couple of beautiful horses, to the left some curious cows and in front an amazing sunset. Simple and relaxing camping and bonus to have a rustic and clean flushing toilet on site.

Great open space with plenty of room for a drive thru site or large group with a big fire pit and amazing sunsets.
Plenty to see around the area with the Bunya mountains up the road 20 minutes and the The Bun hotel five minutes away for a good feed and a cold beer with great service.
Gav and Andria were very helpful on arrival and left us to enjoy our stay.
