Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Sunnyvale Farm is a beautiful spot surrounded by the Bunya Mountains National Park in the Western Downs region of Queensland. We are located 40 minutes North of Dalby and 10 minutes north of Bell. The campground has a stunning view of the Bunya Mountains which is literally a stones throw away. It’s also at the end of a road with no through traffic which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The campground is big enough to host large groups. There are opportunities for guests to see a cow milked, pat and feed farm animals and go for guided walks. We also have a large communal fire pit. The stars are spectacular at night above us and as we are over 600 metres above sea level, they seem so much closer 😍 Bell has a fantastic coffee shop 10 minutes away and the Kaimkillenbun Pub has great meals and entertainment. The Bunya Mountains also has cafe’s and rainforest walks. If you’re looking for a relaxing couple of days, consider coming to our little piece of paradise. You’ll love watching the stunning mountain views change each day and listening to the bird life. Sally’s spot was beautiful, lovely views, her family was welcoming and we enjoyed our morning watching her milk the cow and the dogs work the sheep. It’s a stunning area but make sure you’re prepared for some wind - it really comes through sometimes!
