Our property “Camelot” is picturesque, surrounded by 40 acres of rolling hills. Beautiful sunsets and amazing valley views to the west, our property is home to a couple of friendly horses, the odd bush turkey and a dry dam. You can camp at the front of our property or park your caravan, as this site is flat. There are no amenities, campers must be self contained and leave no trace. “Camelot” will be relaxing. Ride your bike, walk throughout our property, feed the horses, or simply have a drink and nibbles while the sun sets, it’s your choice.Park your van or pitch your tent and enjoy the serenity of this site. Only 10 minutes to Toowoomba (The Garden City), “Camelot” is a 40 acre property that is home to our horses and lots of wildlife. Located at the end of a road, there is minimal traffic. No driving is permitted beyond the camping ground, but take your time, go for a walk, run or ride your ride mountain/push bikes. All I ask is that you give our horses (Dumbledore and Coco) a carrot or apple on your outings!

Great stay.!
We had a great stay at Wanitas. The ground was a little soggy from the recent rain, but access was fine. The site was on a little slope with a few large rocks around, but we managed to level the van out easy enough. The view and sunsets were amazing, we fed the horses some snacks and even had some little wallaby visitors outside our van on our last morning.

It's pretty close to Jubilee Park and the mountain bike trails. Nice open sky and elevated view of the sunset through the trees. It's basic but that's all we needed.
