We do not charge for children under 5 years of age. Please do not add this age-group to your booking. Children's rate is charged from 5 year to 16 years. You will need to adjust your booking as Hipcamp adult rate charge starts from 12 years old.
Generators are permitted to recharge batteries but not permitted to be on constantly. Please advises if required for medical reasons.

* After launching, vehicles and trailers must be parked back up the hill within the Pointro boundary.
* Marquees and similar structures must be at least 6 metres from the water’s edge.
* Boats may be moored during the day but must be removed overnight.
Breaches may result in fines from SEQ Water, which will be passed on to the responsible party.

A grassy flat tent site is tucked away shaded by trees. Powered Caravan site is also grassy and flat with a large area for kids to play. If you choose to set up in the open away from the trees the house will be in sight (45m away), but we live a quiet life and respect your privacy. The property is on the Brisbane River, the site offers river glimpses however there is no river access.
Suitable for tents, campers trailers, caravans and RV's. We are close to the CBD so the site is a great option for a 'shake down' for your new caravan or camper trailer. If you're new to camping this is a great place to ease into a lifestyle that offers so many opportunities further afield.
You won't have to share the campsite with other campers, you will have the spot all to yourselves.

The site is flat and mowed with easy access from the road for caravans.
The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels.
Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.)
The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!)
** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority.
The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops.
We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!)
**Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. **
Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club.
Guests will be able to see and hear them buzzing around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club.
During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globe masters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area.

Very peaceful spot nestled in amongst nature. The property is wonderfully maintained and private with a lot of thought having gone into the surrounding native gardens. Directions are easy to follow and there are no issues with access towing a large off grid caravan. Great for families with plenty of room for kids to run around and explore! Kevin was a fantastic host.

We had the best time camping recently, weather was superb and the water was a welcome refreshing dip during the day. The site was super clean and spacious with plenty of areas to camp and spread out. The kids have said it was the best place they have ever camped and want to come back

Great spot, will be going again. Site 2 was made for a good time, it’s big if your bringing mates with multiple cars, decent view through the trees, and the trees perfectly cover the sun from 5pm to 9am so no flaming hot tents in the morning.
Barely any mozzies either which was great since I forgot repellent, overall a good spot not far from town which makes it available with the price of diesel.
You can’t see site 1 at all since it’s at the bottom of the hill but you can see site 3 pretty clearly, not to the point where you’d be able to make out faces but I could tell he had a prado if that makes sense. Easy fix put your cars in between you and it feels much more private

Lovely large flat site. Very private. Only 8 min to fernvale and woolies. I would take our camp toilet next time as I wasn't too keen on the drop toilet and there is a dump spot at fernvale. Saw kangaroos, cows and kookaburras. We really loved this camp site, it's very well maintained. There was more phone reception than I was expecting. It's close to Brisbane valley rail trail but you need to drive to get to it (i.e. the highway is between this site and the BVRT and a bit hairy to cycle there with kids). The bath tub was a nice novelty. It was pretty hot when we went and we elected to soak in it without a fire underneath to cool down😀

Absolutely perfect spot. We loved the quiet, the privacy and direct access to the Brisbane River for fishing, kayaking and swimming. The water was so clean, the fish a plenty (catfish!) but yellow belly spotted and huge fish jumping. Highly recommend.

Coomera Holiday Village was a great stay. The facilities were super clean and well maintained and the campgrounds themselves were tidy. The site felt very friendly too. It is super close to the M1 so is consistently noisy which can make it a little tricky sleeping and the camp advertised WiFi online but when we arrived they don’t have any so that was a minor frustration. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks :)

Stayed at Kippa’s Rest with a couple mates. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Perfect little spot tucked away with everything you need for a little getaway. Amazing views of the sunset and stars out in the paddock. Cameron’s a great bloke and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Stoked that the campsite was close to shops and highway access yet you could not tell you were near them, feels nice and secluded. Land was spotless when we arrived and there was a fire pit provided with firewood to use. Nice private spot and fair distance from other camp site. Spectacular views from top of the hill. The cows were interesting to watch just on the other side of the fence. Cheers Daniel will definitely book again!
