Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

IMPORTANT please note, we do NOT have amenities or drinking water. You need to be self sufficient and bring your own shower/toilet, and take with you ALL waste. We have 69 acres within the Barambah Wine Trail (which is located in Moffatdale, near Murgon, QLD). Our property backs onto the Bjelke Petersen Dam. Our property offers direct access to Lake Barambah from your large grassy campsite. You can enjoy uninterrupted views of the lake while relaxing around your camp fire. The lake itself is wide and deep, and safe for swimming (properly supervised) and all your favourite water activities. There is also basic access to launch small boats. Dusty Hill Wines is just down the road and offers local wine tasting and some great meals in their restaurant. There are also some other wineries in the area you can explore and enjoy. If you want to get your heart rate up, we are 25 minutes from Kinombi Falls where you can enjoy a number of stairs to get to the top. Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. We have a mini pig (Splat) that is now in the house yard due to pushing fences and getttongbout She loves pats, runs and a brush. She is super gentle. Sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a barrista coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow while your staying here. The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched. The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles. Access is 4WD or AWD only. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam (photo of big water mass) , Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all close by. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. We have lovely, flat grassy sites with direct access to Yabba Creek, a tributary of the Mary River. The creek has water flowing in it all the time and there is a big lagoon at the back of the property, so whilst it's technically called a creek... it is more like a river with permanent water. This place is great for swimming, kayaking and canoeing.Most camping spots are flat and grassy, making them great for caravan access. Guests need to have own amenities and leave no trace. Dogs permitted on a leash at all times. Children must be supervised at all times. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place.Bring your swimmers and enjoy camping by the water!

Our venue and campgrounds are situated at the old Jimna State School property. The school closed in 2009 with the last students attending in 2006. It was then sold by the Qld government and has been rezoned as a Camping, Recreation and Events Venue. We have retained all the old school facilities for our campers to enjoy. There is a children’s playground and multi-purpose tennis court for everyone to enjoy. We provide tennis rackets, balls and basketballs free of charge to our campers. There is also no charge or fee to use the court. On most Sundays afternoons (weather permitting), we have social tennis where everyone is welcome to join in. The old school toilet blocks have the addition of hot showers and all toilet facilities are the flushing type. Campfires are permitted and there are small mobile fire pits provided so wherever you set up camp you can have your campfire right beside you. Note: There are no ground fires permitted and at certain times of the year Qld Rural Fire brigade may enforce a total fire ban. We have our “Caffeine Injection” kiosk on-site for the weekends and school holidays. The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched. The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles. Access is 4WD or AWD only. In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather. Campers must be self sufficient with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome.

Magical place with heaps of room on campsites. Good amount of shade/sun shared throughout the day. Looking directly at the tree covered mountain from campsite was an awesome backdrop. Dean was a pleasure to deal with and very friendly and helpful. Kayaks are an added bonus you get when camping here in which you can take down the creek giving you a great peaceful paddle along the base of the mountain. Will be heading back there in the future 100%.

Kaylea and Dean’s property is amazing. So thoughtfully set out and everything you need is supplied, bush shower, toilet, water and kayaks to explore the creek and hopefully spot a platypus. They will even bring you firewood to your campsite if requested. The ecosystem is so diverse and healthy. We spotted many birds including the azure kingfisher. Set in the beautiful Mary Valley, this place is a must do .

We spent two lovely nights here and had a great experience. The host was very welcoming and friendly, which made us feel comfortable from the start. The camping spot is large, very private, and right next to Little Yabba Creek, making it a peaceful place to relax. We really loved that the place is pet friendly. Our dogs had an amazing time enjoying the creek, especially while we were kayaking. Having free kayaks available is a great bonus. Little Yabba Creek is beautiful and full of wildlife. We were lucky to see platypus, wallabies, fish, lizards, and many different birds. It truly felt like a special nature experience. The only small downside was occasionally hearing gunshots from nearby hunting areas, but aside from that, the place is a true paradise. We would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely beautiful location. We spent the night watching firefly’s fly around our outside tent and saw a gorgeous star lit sky. We were able to watch the lightening with no rain crack over the sky and by day swim in the creek which was lovely and warm by the arvo sun. ☀️We will definitely be back. A big thanks to Jenna and Brain for checking in on us and Jenna for helping set up the tent. Lovely hosts and super friendly and helpful. Toilets very clean and well maintained. This was the first time our doggos went camping and they can be a little nervous but given we had a decent space between camp sites the wasn’t an issue. They were super calm and loved exploring.
