We have beautiful old gumtrees, some of which are estimated to be over 300 years old, providing lots of hollows and beautiful birdlife. You may also spot some wildlife, mainly birds, bearded dragons, and occasionally wallabies and kangaroos.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash as we are a working farm with horses. We can provide above-ground cages for dogs if guests plan to go exploring for the day and need somewhere safe for their furry friends to stay.

The riverside is a peaceful place with two large camping areas and firepits.
There are 2 large waterholes suitable for swimming, fishing and kayaking.
Down by the riverside you will see Water dragons, turtles, ducks, swamp hens, many birds, occasional Wallabies and Koala. Most afternoons the local Rikali (Australias Otter) can be seen diving for Yabbies.
We are an 11 minute drive to the very popular Main range national Park which has some beautiful hiking trails and is the perfect place for a picnic. We have a great country pub close by as well which is a short walk down a country lane.
Pets are welcome but please ensure they are under your control and that you clean up after them. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet.
Rubbish bins are provided for campers and a treated rain water tap is available. Kayaks and life jackets are available on request.

Callemondah is Aboriginal for "Many Hills" and the Farm is an Aussie Whites Sheep Stud Farm featuring also cattle, horses, pigs and chickens.
Callemondah Bush Stay Camping area overlooks a picturesque waterhole and a creek with great stands of gum trees spaced throughout a park like setting.
There are fire pits to cook your food with and to have a campfire, just ask for a load of firewood from Farmer Norm.
We have toilets but no showers yet and we have new undercover shelters for everyone.

The Rosenthal creek meanders through Callemondah Farm which is very beautiful and makes for a lovely walk or to sit beside and create a painting.

Breeding Stud Sheep and beef cattle are the main agricultural activity on the Farm and there are pigs in the newly built piggery, poultry, farm dogs, horses and other farm animals featured.
You can drive into Warwick which is only 5 minutes away, go for a country drive or take a trip to Stanthorpe, Allora, Yangan and other towns for the day or to visit markets and events.
We can hold and cater for functions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings and Corporate Outdoor and Team building Functions.
You can also bring your horse/s on planned events and ride through the paddocks and hills of Callemondah Farm.

The land is nearly 200 Ha in the western foothills of the Dividing Range, with the usually-flowing North Branch Creek being a green haven supporting lots of wildlife. It also includes the secluded back valley of Hann Creek to which you can walk, cycle or ride, with many tracks of lengths up to 3 km. The land is mostly open forest land with some cleared areas from its dairy-farming history, and many gullies with thicker vegetation. The property is mostly now dedicated to nature conservation and the recovery of its more natural state.
It is a Nature Refuge under Qld legislation with special emphasis on recognising that the land is Githabul country, honouring local Githabul people now, sharing it with them and others, plus preserving species of plants and animals with known relevance to their former lifestyles. The name Nyalar Mirungan-ah means 'Old Women's Tears' in Githabul, and recognises that they cry because the land was taken from them and because it has not been looked after well by European people. We are now trying to care for it well, and to allow the original ecosystems to return, by lighter grazing, soil recovery and using traditional Aboriginal burning knowledge.
And we welcome dogs as long as they don't disturb our wildlife. Shandy, our own dog, is very welcoming to guests and might drop in to your camp for a visit.

This is a great place to stay. Plenty of room for groups of campers or caravans. The facilities are great with toilets and a hot shower available and also a lovely barn with tables and kitchen where guests can eat their meal with shelter from the outside weather.
The location is great. Just a short drive from Toowoomba and other small towns and local attractions. Or you can just stay at the farm and relax in the picturesque surroundings. The host is lovely and will ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Definitely worth a visit.

A fabulous time spent at Katrina’s property
So many features - toilet, shower , big barn to eat at, pool table , fir pits, swing and so much more .
Katrina was such a great accommodating host and we cannot wait to come back with more friends

Had a great stay. Katrina, the host, was very helpful. We had a cloudless night and could do some Milky Way photography.
I couldn’t charge my car as the charger was dropping off needing more retrying!
Nicely maintained toilet and shower. Ample of space for having meals under roof at the Barn. They also have a Pool table! And Fire pits!
Eventually I got it charged to a decent level to continue trip. Other than that it was an excellent camping.

We loved the spot where we camped however the directions and instructions got us a little confused. Neat and tidy areas. Wish we had packed a fishing rod.

We enjoyed our time camping in this rural setting despite Warwick suffering and extreme dry spell.
Close to town for shopping and a short drive to other country towns for day trips.
Norm was a legend and came to the rescue when we had a vehicle breakdown.

The camp site was nice, the farmer is a very polite bloke. Very happy to help and show us around.
There is alot of long grass along the river bank, which should be mowed as there was a 6ft brown snake coming through our camp. Happened twice in 2 days.
Also fishing is good if you want too catch carp or catfish.
And hard to get the fish out of the water because you cant get down to waters edge and theres tree roots and hard sticks that snag your line on the edge. All in all. Nice camp site but big brown snakes and horrible fishing didnt make the trip very nice.

Nice spot with well‑kept campsites in a great location. Everything was tidy and easy, and Site 1 was a perfect camp spot to enjoy the water hole.

We loved camping at Maggie’s flat. It was a shame they hadn’t had much rain and the creek wasn’t running. I know they were disappointed too. We managed to have a swim further up though. The horses were very friendly, coming right up to us at camp. No troubles though with our two dogs.

Is a great place to visit!
Katrina was very friendly and helpful.
Would 100% recommend to stay here, she would rather campers have a nice open space. Rather than Jam Pack a lot of campers.

We enjoyed our stay . Our Campsite was a good size. And alot of the campsite had good distance from other campsites keep it in some cases private. The staff were very friendly and helpfull . And close enuff to Warwick if need anything and a good stageing erea for Touristy site seeing stuff.

We had a great stay at Gleneden. Our kids loved being amongst the activity of a working farm. Rohan was an excellent host and the organic fresh eggs and other meat products available for purchase were a bonus. The star however was Wilbur the very friendly farm dog.

Anna and Steve are friendly and helpful hosts. Stayed here a couple of times now and recommend. Easter 2026 conditions were dry. Trickle in the creek and dry surrounds but that didn’t impact our camping experience. Nice quiet location.
