Our conservation property is a registered Land for Wildlife sanctuary, and we’ve created a space where native animals and humans alike can feel safe, welcome, and at home. We live on-site and are slowly restoring this special land, including the old Grafton Racecourse Beer Pavilion. The composting toilets and clever camp showers were thoughtfully built using recycled materials and offered for campers to use.
At night, light a fire, enjoy a cold drink, and take in the stars. We’re easy-going and happy to give you your space. Camp fires must be contained Sept-April. Large fire pits provided and firewood for sale on site.

This magical waterhole has crystal clear spring-fed water, where you’ll be able to enjoy spotting fish, turtles, and a platypus along with stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, bushwalking, and simply relaxing.
IMPORTANT: The camp is for self-contained campers only. You MUST have your own toilet, water and take all waste with you when you go. This is non-negotiable. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour.
PLEASE NOTE: The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. Please check in with us 3 days prior to arrival to confirm conditions. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available.
The photos display pristine blue waters, which is what is so magical about this place. However after heavy rain, the water colour can change in appearance.
Campfires are permitted in the designated fire ring, when local restrictions are not in place.

Yarrawin is 680 acre cattle farm and hardwood timber plantation in the heart of the Nambucca Valley, offering scenic, secluded, private campsites with their own swimming hole and a river gravel beach on 3km of beautiful double river frontage.
Camping options include riverside camps, the Shack and riverside camp and a large secluded valley. Each campsite is separate from the others, giving guests privacy and exclusive use of the swimming hole (except Chinamans Valley) at their site. All riverside sites offer a natural gravel beach entry into the water.
There are no amenities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Every site has a fire pit which must be used for campfires. If you want to use your own it must be off the ground.
Only sand mats or similar, NO TARPS, to be set up on the grassed areas to preserve the grass.
Firewood $20/night (CASH ONLY PLEASE). Please let us know in advance if you want firewood.
Beautiful drinking rain water is available in a 20lt Jerry can if required on arrival.
Bird lovers can enjoy watching the various bird varieties, as well as ducks. Animals include wallabies, goannas, deer and fish as well as cattle and stock horses. Fishing is okay but it is STRICTLY catch and release ONLY.
There are many places to go bushwalking, either following the river or heading up the valleys or hiking up the hills through the trees.
The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away.
Please note this is a working farm, so there will be cattle and stock horses on the property that may approach your campsite.

At The Good Life, we’re big on personal space. Every campsite is large, private and genuinely secluded, giving you the feeling you’re a long way from everyone and everything. Your own patch of paradise. No caravan awnings poking you in the eye, no surprise drop-ins, and no listening to your neighbour’s snoring, generator or life story. Bliss.
Forget your phone alarm. Your morning wake-up call is the local kookaburra choir having a proper laugh at life. This is a true back-to-nature escape for anyone needing to pull up a stump, slow right down and properly unplug. If bird watching, stargazing or simply doing sweet nothing is your idea of a good time, you’ll fit right in.
Dogs are very welcome. Keep them on a lead while you’re wandering the property, then let them be their goofy, happy selves back at camp. Campfires are practically mandatory. Every site has its own fire pit, and if you burn through your firewood faster than a pollie breaks a promise, we can sort you out with more for a small fee.
Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories.
What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. When night falls, the stars put on a serious show and the silence is so complete you can actually hear yourself think.
There’s no phone service and no Wi-Fi. Consider it a feature, not a bug. It’s the perfect excuse to ignore your emails.
If you feel like venturing out, the Orara Valley and Coffs Coast offer stunning rainforests, beaches, waterfalls and swimming holes, all within a 30-minute drive.

Our extensive and carefully-maintained pastures offer a wide selection of peaceful, private campsites. There are also numerous small stands of natural vegetation providing shade and shelter.
In close proximity to us are shopping centres, surfing beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
We operate as a cottage industry, processing alpaca fleece & manufacturing products from it. We regularly conduct tours & maintain a small farm shop.
We also offer a full range of home-cooked meals.

The sites are surrounded by rugged mountainous bush land with views, trails, cliffs, 3 creeks to explore and includes a private lake ‘Lake Arid’ with its own island, ‘Dead Dog Island’. Swim, paddle, fish, play.
Metres away is another private swimming hole ‘Pants Off Pond’ stocked with Silver Perch and Bass.
So whether you indulge in pants off, or leave them on and just fish it’s up to you.
Explore a little further and you’ll find ‘The Abyss’ a former micro quarry, 9m deep waterhole.
The creeks have waterfalls, swimming holes, pure and clean, though are a rugged unmarked hike.
The sites are site only. You’ll need to take care of your waste, water, rubbish and power. Generator is ok, we’re out of earshot, so is everyone else.
Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit and an abundance of ‘cut your own’ firewood upon the ground.
Remember, fires this time of year are for ‘cooking only’, so be sure to bring those marshmallows…
Pet Friendly, 4WD friendly with a bunch of serious challenges too… Horse friendly too, yep, there’s a yard to keep them too, up by the house.
Accessible by 2WD with sites with enough space for any size caravan or motor home.
While exploring, if you find a spot you’d rather camp, simply ask.
We live on the property so help is nearby for any issues and the access road is shared.

Although we are always introducing new attractions to our property, it is always a comfortable place to stay and will likely always be different each time you come back to stay. Developments in the pipeline will be the addition of animals, an orchard, a dam and Aquaponics vegetable production which are currently in the works. We currently have 18 chickens and 10 Angus cattle on the property and fresh organic free range eggs can be purchased at request.

This camping area is elevated.Our third site is not so private but is the most central and conveniently located for exploring the creek and gaining access with big campervans. If staying longer you can go for a white water kayak in the Nymboida River only 15 min away or head the other way to discover endless National Parks that stretch from the property to Dorrigo.We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water. You must have your own amenities.Well behaved dogs are most welcome to join you. Although we are pet friendly, please be aware and courteous to other campers. If your pet needs to be tied up please do so.We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite. Some places can be accessed by 2WD and walk to campsite. The property is just 10kms from the convenience of Bowraville, a historic township with a supermarket, folk museum, a war museum, a historic theatre, and other historic buildings. Nambucca Heads and the beautiful surrounding beaches are just 27kms east and Coffs Harbour 80kms away.

Every site has its own fire pit, and if you burn through your firewood faster than a pollie breaks a promise, we can sort you out with more for a small fee.
Now for a quick reality check. We’re not the Hilton. In fact, we don’t provide any amenities at all. No toilets, no showers, no bins. Think of The Good Life as a safe, private slice of bush that feels like the middle of nowhere, because it pretty much is. You’ll need to be fully self-contained and take everything you bring in back out with you. Leave only footprints and good memories.
What you do with your time is entirely up to you. Park yourself in a camp chair with a book, wander the farm, or lace up your boots and explore around 70 acres of bush tracks. When night falls, the stars put on a serious show and the silence is so complete you can actually hear yourself think.
There’s no phone service and no Wi-Fi. Consider it a feature, not a bug. It’s the perfect excuse to ignore your emails.

The creeks have waterfalls, swimming holes, pure and clean, though are a rugged unmarked hike.
The sites are site only. You’ll need to take care of your waste, water, rubbish and power. Generator is ok, we’re out of earshot, so is everyone else.
Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit and an abundance of ‘cut your own’ firewood upon the ground.
Remember, fires this time of year are for ‘cooking only’, so be sure to bring those marshmallows…

The Kalang river runs through the property offering direct access to spectacular private swimming holes, views and wide river frontage. There is also plenty of shade trees along the river.
You are welcome to bring your own kayaks to explore on the river.
There is plenty of access for cars, caravans and motor homes.
We now have a brand new portable loo for your convenience, however we do suggest considering what else you will need to bring before you make a booking.
Internet is limited with 5G in some spots around the river and camping areas.
Pets unfortunately are no longer permitted as American Bison and cattle are farmed on the property.
Some of the areas best beaches are under 20 minutes from the property with Coffs Harbour and the airport approximately 30 minutes away.

Our property is nestled between state forests and nature reserves, near the village of Nymboida which is approx. 44km southwest of Grafton. You will find a variety of bird life and by night our marsupials. Bandicoots, possums and if you have a keen eye, owls. With 1.5km of creek frontage, you can explore away, fish in the waterhole for freshwater catfish or go for a walk along one of the valleys. Situated on 650 acres in hill country. You will certainly find something for your relaxing getaway.Pitch your tent in a variety of places, we have two areas available that offer complete privacy from other campers. Mill Flat (the location of the steam mill that was built when the property was a logging property) is located on around 3 acres of mostly flat grass land with direct access to our creek. Nearby, Fruit Orchard Hill is the location of the original home before the fires, the outlook from here is of the sheer mountain range of the neighbouring National Park. This camping area is elevated.Our third site is not so private but is the most central and conveniently located for exploring the creek and gaining access with big campervans. If staying longer you can go for a white water kayak in the Nymboida River only 15 min away or head the other way to discover endless National Parks that stretch from the property to Dorrigo.We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water. You must have your own amenities.Well behaved dogs are most welcome to join you. Although we are pet friendly, please be aware and courteous to other campers. If your pet needs to be tied up please do so.We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite. Some places can be accessed by 2WD and walk to campsite. Caravan drivers need to be competent for hilly terrain and tight access, some roads are cut into steep ground and have very little give. However Site 1 is easy access for caravans. If unsure about your vehicle please message us.

Beautiful place to camp! Awesome quiet camp spot, close to the river. Great facilities including composting toilets and fantastic hot shower! The campsite had everything we needed to be so comfortable. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, walks through the property and the river was perfect for swimming, relaxing, exploring and canoeing. Alastair and Merryl are wonderful hosts- thoughtful in so many ways. We loved our stay- thank you!

Such an amazing stop! Beautiful surroundings, quiet and relaxing. Hosts are super friendly. Great watering hole to swim and our dog loved being able to run in and out of the water all day long. Even the cows came to say hi. Wish we could have stayed longer than just 2 nights.

Bush camp 2 was a great private spot, felt like we were in the middle of the bush! Lots of wildlife to see around. Nice camp bathroom too- clean!! Would recommend this campsite for a private bush camping spot, only a short drive to nice beaches and views too.

The hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable, they recommended site 6 to us and we were absolutely glad they did. It was very private and just an amazing place to stay.
Our dog was able to run around freely without any distractions as the site is very private and away from all other sites.
Nana Glen is a beautiful place, it has a very quiet country town feel, there are so many great water holes to explore and some great 4WD spots.
It’s only a short 30min drive to Coffs Harbour for major shops and 30 mins gets you to many different amazing beaches.
We would absolutely stay there again and are already thinking about our next trip.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an amazing camping place.

We booked this site on incredibly short notice and have absolutely no regrets. The moment we showed up we were greeted with big smiles and fresh eggs! We were so shocked considering we gave them only 30 minutes notice of our arrival. Our site had just been taken by someone else, but Ro directed us down to a site next to a little stream and pond. It was just what we needed for a few nights to get some washing done and have some downtime. The Firepit was excellent and there was already a heap of firewood for us to use. We had a heap of fun trying to catch yabbies and identify frogs. The hosts were so lovely, and even checked if the nearby mowing was too annoying for us. We felt so welcomed here and are excited to come back and see all the amazing things they have planned for this camp.
