The three campsites are in our front paddock nestled away from houses and the main road. They are all close to the gate. The paddock contains a stringybark forest and grassy box woodland with many wildflowers in spring. You will share the paddock with birds and wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, sugar gliders and the occasional wombat. There are two shallow dams with frogs and yabbies. You may find roof tiles that are part of a lizard monitoring project (please leave!). From the hill at the front you can look out to One Tree Hill on the ACT border and the Brindabella Range.
We are providing no facilities so come self sufficient. Close by is the village of Hall. Canberra is 25 minutes away. Local attractions include Poachers Pantry, Murrumbateman Chocolates, wineries and the Centennial Trail that takes in the northern boundary of the ACT.

The space consists of a queen-sized bed with 100% cotton white line-dried sheets, and a modern ensuite bathroom. A sitting area with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and stove. The cooking space is quite small and best for fairly basic food preparation. Also included is a TV. (32" flat screen) and a DVD player.
We are very pleased to announce that we have just installed reverse cycle heating and air conditioning for your added comfort.
There are ceiling fans if required. A 'Tastic' heater is in the bathroom for extra comfort.
Enjoy exclusive use of our 10m swimming pool, BBQ, and deck.
We will take children, over 5 years old, who are able to swim, but would insist that parents supervise at all times.
A fold-up bed is available as an extra bed, and the charge for extras per night is $30.00, to cover costs with extra laundry, cleaning etc.
You will find some up-to-date magazines to relax with while here, DVDs, and complimentary chocolate.
The nearest shop/food outlet is in Yass, so I advise guests to bring dinner with them or to book a home-cooked meal to be served in the BnB.
Our guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool and deck with elevated views of the surrounding spectacular scenery. Feel free to wander around the garden. We endeavour to keep the pool sparkling, but cannot always guarantee perfection. No diving please, for your own safety.
A BBQ is available for use on the deck.
Other things to note
Continental breakfast is included, and if you require an evening meal, I can provide a two-course dinner for $40/person.. Please give advance notice if this is required, preferably when booking.
We are a pet-friendly B&B, and welcome your pets but expect them to be clean and obedient. We charge $10 extra for one dog/night and $15/night for two dogs/night. We ask that you provide your pets with bedding and food bowls, and they are not allowed on the bed or sofa under any circumstances. Please don't go out and leave your pets behind, unless under very special circumstances and we have been asked first.

Lovely views from the hill sitting on 42 acres within a valley south of Canberra. Room to explore, with close access to walking trails, lots of wildlife including some very stubborn wombats, kangaroos and lots of birds, lizards, and friendly horses that will do anything for carrots. Its far enough out of town for complete silence, but only 30 minutes back into town. Close to Googong Dam (which is great for fishing, kayaking, walking). Dog friendly so the whole family can visit.
Suits campers who have their own toilet and leave no trace. No amenitiies.

Very quiet spot, quite tricky to get the car to the site if your car has low clearance like mine but not too much trouble. Quite a few mosquitos as well so be prepped for that. Beautiful stargazing

Ian and his family are very lovely people. Their property has lots of beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Option to camp up the top of the hill which is 4wd access and amazing views of the surrounding valley.

We enjoyed staying at ‘Daisyvale’. The views were fantastic and it was very relaxing sitting under the stars beside the camp fire. The toilet was 3min drive from the spot we were set up at. It was a lovely spot to be unplugged. Andrew meet us at the entrance and took us to our spot.
