Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. Nestled right up against the escarpment at an elevation of 450m, this high-end, off-grid 40 acre property effectively offers your own private slice of Macquarie Pass National Park - amazing views, giant cedar trees, fern forests, cascading waterfalls and palms surround. It feels remote but it's only 90 min from Sydney, 30 min to Kiama and just 15 min to the shops. The property also offers the only hiking path up to the top of the escarpment for some truly amazing views. As of September 2025, many of the trails on the property have been degraded by the rains and are now challenging for 2WD cars. If you're towing or it's wet we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles. Since this is coastal rainforest and it has been very wet, expect leeches anywhere it is damp. These are easily kept at bay with deet and or trousers tucked into socks. We're not particularly price sensitive - until all those rate rises - but we are extremely value sensitive so we set out to make your stay extremely good value for your hard earned money. The land itself does most of the heavy lifting but also personal service and of course there's Lana to fall in love with. Note, Mellows Rd is 2.6km long and rises 400m - in parts the road is a 15 degree grade. It's all paved but narrow so if you are towing a large heavy load, it's going to strain your car.

Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. 100 acres of secluded paradise with a kilometer of free flowing pebbled creek. Bound on two sides by the craggy escarpments of the Budgong and Morton National Parks there is ample grassland to give a feeling of space yet an abundance of trees to wander through as you engage with the tame wildlife and magnificent birdlife. Bring your mountain bike, fishing rod, swimmers, hiking boots, tennis racket, basketball (a hoop on the tennis court) or climbing gear and leave the kids in the play area while you sit by the creek and listen to the water tumbling through the rocks. If you are as intrigued by rare animals as we are, then this is the place for you. 63 Bird species, 24 mammals, 16 reptiles, and 12 amphibians have been sighted in the area (Clarke 2012) and this includes many rare and endangered species including the platypus, brush-tailed rock wallaby, Giant burrowing frog, Gang-gang cockatoo, Glossy black-cockatoo, Koala, Little Lorikeet and the Yellow-bellied glider. We only have three campsites at present, so you will be guaranteed peace, space and privacy. with a minimum of 400m between all sites. Please note, that your group must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, however fresh drinking water is available. Access is into a valley on a well maintained unsealed road but there are some minor causeways making it unsuitable for busses or long low slung vans. An ordinary sedan will do for Billabong and Dad's camp sites but you will need some power for towing and a 4x4 to tow out in any rain. Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4's and off-road camp trailers. Second time camping at Wombat Hollow. Loved it even more. Went for an early evening stroll this time and saw so many wombats. The bird song was gorgeous evening and morning. Camped up at the Pecan Wood camp. The view from the top of the rise is wonderful and worth being a little further from the creek. Pecan gets sun all day so perfect for cooler months. If we visit in summer we'll stay at one of the shady creek-side camps.

What a beautiful spot! I will say that I found the drive in quite stressful with my little 2WD sedan and I did get lost finding the place, but once I was there all my worries went away. Beautiful spot right next to the river. Saw a Kangaroo and a Wombat and loved just relaxing by the river with a beautiful mountain in the background. There were a few other people booked into other campsites but I barely saw them. Was beautifully secluded.

There are also some well-established bushwalks on the property if you aren't wanting to venture out. Clyde River Berry Farm is on the way to Shallow Crossing, a great day out for the kids, where you can pick your own berries (when in season) and have their berry ice cream. We have since added a camp kitchen, large undercover area and two cabins (for our own use at this stage). Enjoy direct access to the river plus more swimming areas on the property. Campfires are permitted. There is some firewood on the property but probably best to bring some of your own. There is Telstra service enabling mobile coverage if needed especially for emergencies. There is also Starlink internet for your convenience. 4WDs are recommended to access this campsite. During the rain we recommend 4WD only. In dry you can access with an all wheel drive. Please message us if you're unsure about weather conditions and your vehicle. Our little piece of Utopia is still a work in progress but is picturesque as well as peaceful. Misty Mountain Wildlife Refuge is a 330 acre farm which provides sanctuary to kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas and many bird species including their habitats. There are Alpacas and Sheep, Kangaroos, Wombats, Kookaburras, Echidnas and many other animals that enjoy this property. The land has 80 acres of cleared grassland this side of the river, and for the adventurous and energetic you can rome the other 250 acres by crossing to the other side of the rive, there are large stands of rainforest and bushland, with 2.5 km of Brown Mountain Creek and its tributary meandering through it. There are some swimming holes and mini rapids; the crystal clear water flowing over the river rocks can be heard from most parts of the farm. The land comprises Little Brown Mountain and has 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains and farmland with wonderful cloud formations and mists contributing their mystery and beauty to the dramatic landscape. There is an orchard with trees producing several varieties of apple, stone fruit and citrus in abundance. A cottage garden produces various vegetables and herbs such as spinach, celery, potatoes, garlic, chives, lettuce, rocket, parsley, turmeric, peas, beans, tomato etc. Past bushfire damage to some trees in the cleared paddocks is evident however, many are recovering well and most provide photographers with interesting and dramatic subject matter. Due to the catastrophic events of the NSW bush fires in this area all camp fires must be kept responsibly safe and no unsafe camp fires will be tolerated. All Guests are required to have an acceptable camp toilet, no holes in the ground. All river access points are shared, be mindful of others. As dogs are welcome and even well behaved dogs will be dogs when it comes to their family, all guests are advised to make themselves known prior to going near another's camp site, then there is no surprises either way. We welcome you to immerse yourself in the varied terrain by foot or bike. You can explore the hillside and ridges, or have a gentle meander and swim down by the river. The property has two listings to choose from, paddock sites and a bell tent site, which are nestled beside the waters of the Murrah River underneath beautiful old mother She Oaks. Each campsite has its own fire pit, grill and hotplate. Let us know if you need to borrow a skillet or camp oven. Firewood is also available if required. The Bottom Paddock is an evolving property with strong roots in community sufficiency, environmental and regenerative initiatives.

We are located just south of the Mogo township on the NSW south coast, in prime position for mountain biking fanatics as the Maulbrooks Mountain Bike Park and Mogo State Forest are just to our west. We are 5 mins from the New MOGO MTB trails! On hot days you can grab your swimmers, snorkel and surfboard, and head down to a number of beaches at Tomakin and Broulee (15 mins from camp). When exploring the region, don't forget to stop in at the famous township of Mogo. This gorgeous village offers a quirky mix of art, crafts, homewares and collectibles, as well as fantastic food, clothing, specialty items, and well known favourites like Mogo Fudge or some marshmallows to toast on the campfire. The campsite is nestled amongst the tall gum trees and overlooks the dam. There is a firepit with a hot plate for delicious camp out dinners and firewood is available for sale under Extras. There is access to a toilet and rubbish facilities, but you will need to bring your own drinking water and shower. We can cater for all types of camping vehicles and tents, including 2WD. The campsite is generally flat but your vehicle may require a little levelling. We welcome well behaved pets (we have dogs ourselves so your pet must be friendly).

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. We are located 8 kilometres off the Princes Highway and we DO recommend 4wd as there is 5 kilometres of rough dirt road with 3 creek crossings that can be flooded in heavy rains. Dogs are accepted but Must be kept on a leash as we have an abundance of wildlife, wallabies, kangaroos, wombats and birds, as well as our own dogs, horses, pigs, goats and a cat. Otford is a historic village in a valley between Sydney and Wollongong, and bounded by the Pacific ocean. Our private acreage backs onto the southern tip of the Royal National Park, so the outlook from the campsite is all leafy trees. Walk to lookouts over the ocean, hike down to the beach or a few minutes drive to dog friendly beaches. Our bathroom and kitchen facilities make it an easy experience for first time campers. We are well-behaved-dog-friendly BUT you must let us know in advance. Our access track to the camping sites has been repaired with a deep layer of asphalt but still best suited to 4WD. The majority of standard 2WD cars manage the track fine There is also the option of parking roadside, and walking in approx 300m to the sites. Please message us if unsure about your vehicle. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ 1. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog/dogs - we have horses, house dogs, chickens and; wildlife plus likely other campers close by, so need to be forewarned. Dogs must be on lead or contained at all times. 2. If you need to camp out of your 4WD RV (such as a roof top tent), please contact me before booking to ensure those two particular vehicle sites are still available :) and that your vehicle is suitable for our track. Maximum length is approx 5m. Please scroll through the photos to see our amenities and camping sites. 3. We limit the number of people staying at any one time, so weekends book up quickly. Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley on the NSW Far South Coast. Roa is a family owned working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park, giving it a sense of remote seculsion whilst being only a 15 minute drive from the township of Cobargo. The valley is a 35 minute drive to the stunning beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We operate three Hipcamp sites and two different locations on the property. Mountain Camp is a single site and offers complete seclusion and privacy, while River Camp is a double site and offers views across the valley whilst only being metres from the river. Both locations have composting toilets and Mountain Camp has an additional undercover camp kitchen. We cater for small groups and families who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce vehcile traffic, protect our farms biosecurity and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site.
