The peace and tranquillity and spectacular scenery make this the ideal place to relax and unwind or the perfect spot to base yourself while you explore everything the Tweed Shire and the Northern Rivers Region has to offer.
On arrival you get to choose your own unpowered spot. You then set up camp. The caretaker will check you in at the spot you have chosen towards the end of the day.
Misty Mountain Campgrounds is suitable for tent campers, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes..
PLEASE NOTE - Children aged between 3 and 15 are booked under Child Rates, Children 2 and under are Free and do not have to be booked in.

Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property.
There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river.
We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area.
All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Stonesthrow is a 106 acre rural property in the peaceful Illinbah Valley. Nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, we are about an hour (a stones throw) from the Gold Coast or Brisbane. Over time, the property has been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses and is now a family hobby farm. We currently have three dogs, cows, horses, goats and some friendly donkeys who love to meet new people for some pats and a carrot!
The Stonesthrow Bush Camping sites are close to the beautiful shallow creek that meanders its way through the property. These sites have access to facilities - toilets, a powered shed, kettle, fridge and a sink. Some sites offer 2WD access yet still facilitate the experience of camping in the bush. THESE ARE THE ONLY SITES THAT CARAVANS CAN ACCESS.
The Stonesthrow Elevated sites are located higher up, with stunning views of the valley. These sites are only accessible by capable 4WD and require you to bring your own sealed, chemical camping toilet and ensuite tent which we sight on arrival before allowing guests access to the track. Check-in must be during daylight hours to enable safe access. Off-road camper trailers can access these sites.
Friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead when in close proximity to the cottage and other campers. Please note, the availability of certain sites is weather-dependent.
We are not a 4WD adventure park. Vehicles must be left at your campsite and NOT used to explore the property. Exploration of the property is welcome by foot or bicycle: 1.2 km from bottom to top.
Due to insurance considerations, no 'day visitors' are allowed unless they have an approved Hipcamp booking.
We are a Leave No Trace campground - ensure what you bring in, leaves with you.
All camp fires must be fully extinguished with water prior to departure.

How to get to us? We have two ways in .
Option 1:
Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks .
we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre.
Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended.
Option 2:
From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road.
This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We do have 2 wheel drives make the journey !

In 2022, we were proudly awarded the nationally-recognised Eco Certification for Ecotourism camper amenities include 2 showers ( on timer as we have limited rainwater), 2composting toilets, and an outdoor kitchen built from timber harvested onsite. We are dedicated to creating a more sustainable lifestyle and sharing our beautiful farm with others. As a permaculture farm recycling is a huge part of our culture so please read our detailed guidelines to waste management for campers.
The farm features extensive food gardens , a beautiful Yoga Barn, and a farm and forest walks. Our campground is close to town, bush walks and cycle trails. Enjoy eco-friendly amenities and a great vibe, a place to retreat in a beautiful part of the world. Visit the animals, discover our veggie garden and observe the many birds part of our ecosystem.
Due to farm commitments, events, courses and retreats, the campground is open to the public only certain times of the year.

Fair Harvest Retreat Rules
1 - CHECK IN is between 2 and 6 pm, for late arrivals let us know your ETA. CHECK OUT by 10 am
2 - ON ARRIVAL, stop at the self check-in area. Register your details.
Find your name and camp site number on the whiteboard. Grab a map and set up your camp.
3 - KIDS should always be accompanied beyond the immediate campground.
4 - Enjoy a SHORT WALK around the gardens.
We kindly ask you to keep the gates closed and not to pick the food.
FARM WALK, follow the walk trail sign around our forest about 30/40 min..
5 - DOGS should be on a lead at all time, we do have 1 designated paddock (not fenced)
where you can have your dog off leads, please ask us.
Our 2 farm dogs are free to walk around the farm and are really friendly.

Please make sure your bins and food are out of reach.
6 - FIRE - you are welcome to light the communal fire (firewood provided)

We are doing our best to provide a great recycling model. PLEASE help us ….
All food even meat should be given to the chickens (bin in the kitchen)

We do not accept mixed rubbish in our bin, so if you don't separate take them away with you.

We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property.
You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views.
It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime.
There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace.
The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks.

Every October - April is our peak time and its busy! Please be aware there is river noise during our busy times on weekends so may not suit those looking for tranquillity on weekends. During the week it's fine but weekends are busy and a bit noisy.
We are 1.2 km from the township along the River Road. There are powered and unpowered sites for caravans and campers set in a rustic location.
Amenities include hot showers, laundry, on-site kiosk and boat ramp (fee applicable).

Come and set up camp along 6 acres of creek flat, Nestled at the foothills of Wollumbin Mount Warning and surrounded by the famed national parks of the Tweed region.
Our camp area is situated on Rowlands creek, offering 6 acres of creek flat with 3 waterholes.
There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property).
The property is just
5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.
Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations.
We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace.
We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Take a day trip to Byron Bay (50min) Brunswick Heads (40min) Mullumbimby (35min) Tyalgum (30min). 45mins from Gold Coast airport.

The property rests on the shoulder on Mt Nellinda on nineteen hectares of land, there are one large Greenhouse where we grow potted flowers and some veggies, also several large dams which are used for irrigation and act as a Sanctury for our geese, best of all are the views. The perfect spot for relaxing next to a fire and listening to the Frogs and nightlife and waking to the sounds of kookaburras and bird life, Lots of Rock Wallabies in the evenings and early mornings.
Dog friendly, no leads required, portable toilets in the multiple Camp site 1 and an older style toilet in the camping area 2, fresh water available only next to the portable toilets camping area 1. also included is a camp kitchen with fridge, kettle microwave etc for your convenience. Check with host regarding campfires.
Please DO NOT invite friends and relatives to your campsite without first notifying Host. (little curtesy goes a long way)

Range of six camping areas.
CAMP 1 allows up to 14 or more campsites to include caravans, motor homes, large or small. tents etc. with flat and slightly flat areas and close to the roadway dead end street.
CAMP 2 allows up to eight or more smaller caravans tents rooftops etc also with some flatter areas.
CAMP 3 is a private in the bush area and will cater for five or so rooftops tents, difficult for caravans or large vehicles.
CAMP 4 smaller possibly two tents or rooftops secluded in the bush.
CAMP 5 similar to camp 3 in the bush and completely private great for a get together with friends.
CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer.

My 100 acre grassland property is mostly natural ironbark grassland, bounded by the Condamine River to the east and the sealed Cullendore Road to the west. Grazing and farmland to the north and south. The nearest neighbours live a distance of approximately 1.5 km away, so peace and quiet is guaranteed.
ALL Camping areas are accessible by small sedan type vehicles
I encourage bikes and walking, over the entire property, but Motor Bikes, and rough FourWheel Driving are not allowed.
The 4 Camping areas are:
* RIVERSIDE.. 10 level camping sites are available, suitable for single campers, or family groups, right beside the Condamine River
* RIVERCAMP another area of mostley level dispersed sites are avialable in close proximatiy to the River, scattered around the trees, and the Dam, but still having direct access to an open section of the river bank, for swimmimg, fishing or Kayaking
* MIDCAMP.. 7 level sites approximatly 200 meters up from the Comdamine River, and overlooking (and access to) the rivercamp, surrounded by mature "Iron Bark" trees and grassland, Plus several more dispersed sites, suitable for all types of camping from Vans to Tents.
This area also includes a small number of powered sites
* TOP CAMP.. This open area is approximately another 150 metres up the hill from from midcamp, overlooking both Mid & Rivercamps, with 360deg views, has 3 large flat sites. plus many more dispersed sites, also suitable for all types of camping vehicles
*Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, or you are welcome to bring your own.
*HOT Showers and toilets are situated within easy walking distance at all camp sites
*Lots to see and experience in nearby Warwick and the Granite Belt.
Dogs are welcome but must be controlled by owners at all times.

The moment we reached the front gate, we could see the beautifully maintained grounds and knew this would be a great stay.
Warren and Frank met us at the gate with big friendly smiles and became extremely accommodating hosts. They took us to our site which was huge and private. We were joined by our daughter’s family the next day and the 4 kids had a ball despite the somewhat inclement weather. They became explorers and cow whisperers! Having access to dams for swimming and the use of provided kayaks and paddle boards was fabulous. Bonus: onsite toilets and shower! We would thoroughly recommend this property now and especially with the future developments Warren is planning.

We loved our second time camping at Oz Skyranch. The bathrooms are beautiful, portaloos close to all the campsites and the lake is stunning.
My kids highlights are the chickens and cows! We all enjoyed borrowing the kayaks that were there and our own paddleboards. We were all jumping off the jetty for a swim.
So much space and you can choose privacy or more open spaces.
Craig and Lisa were really helpful and I loved having the wood dropped off to the site.

We stayed here recently and were really impressed with the spot. We set up right by the river under the shade of the trees, with plenty of space for the kids to kick a ball and run around. The river itself was beautiful—perfect for a swim.
The facilities were great too, with gas hot showers and proper flushing toilets. Just note there are no bins provided, but firewood and kindling are available from the caretakers/owners.
Hold It Flats is a perfect place to stop for a night or two if you’re travelling—especially with kids, thanks to the open space for them to run, swim, and ride their bikes.
Full credit to the owners for maintaining such a great spot.
We will be making this a regular getaway

Our site had a small window view of water which was pleasing from our tent site.
The surrounding area of Wiseman's Ferry is very scenic and it was lovely to see morning mist on the river at this location. Owls, other birds and possums were also to be seen and/or heard; our neighbour camper even sited a bilby.
On site cafe is available six days a week.

I would highly recommend Bonville Campground. We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. It’s such a peaceful, relaxing spot perfect if you’re wanting to switch off and unwind. The grounds are well kept and there’s plenty of space, so it never feels crowded.
One of the best parts was the evenings. Sitting around the fire and looking up at the stars was honestly beautiful and so calming. It has that proper camping feel without being too rough.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back. Such a great spot for a quiet getaway.

This is by far one of the best camp-sites I have stayed at. We messaged Damien and Tammie prior to arriving letting them know the setup (BT50 towing a 15ft caravan) we were planing to bring and Damien said it would should be OK. Driving down the the site was a bit challenging with a caravan but was fine. Once we were down there we were met with an amazing site. The grass was very well kept and the river was beautiful. We found out site easily and had a very relaxing couple of days. We woke up each morning with the horses around the camp-site which the kids loved. You could tell that Damien and Tammie put a lot of effort into maintaining the site.
When it was time to leave I was a bit nervous about whether I would be able to get out. It was a challenging drive and I feel I would not of made it out if I didn't have a rear locker.
I would suggest anyone attempting to bring a heavy caravan down to be experienced in 4wding.
In saying that we would highly recommend anyone looking for a riverside campsite to consider staying here.

Had such a beautiful stay at Stonesthrow Elevated Remote Camp. The views from the elevated sites are absolutely stunning. It felt really peaceful and private, which is exactly what we were looking for.
The hosts were friendly and helpful, guiding us to our campsite and making sure everything was all good on arrival. You can tell they really care about the land and keeping it natural and respected.
Access is definitely 4WD only, so just be prepared for that, but it’s part of the adventure and worth it for the views. Loved how quiet and relaxed it was.
Stayed with my two dogs and they had the best time (on lead as required), enjoying the open space and fresh air.
Overall, such a special, peaceful place to slow down and disconnect. We’d definitely come back 🤍🐾
