Toolibut Bush Camp is a secluded, tranquil 68 acre bush block set back one kilometre from Borden-Bremer Bay Road, 32 kilometres from Bremer Bay, Western Australia. You can choose either a secluded area to camp where you can surround yourself with natural bush, Yates, and Toolibut trees or a more wide open space where two or three caravans traveling together can park with plenty of room. There are walk trails to explore that meander through the bush, wetlands and paperbark thickets. Keep a lookout for kangaroos and bird life. For the 4x4 enthusiast, the 9 km track to Reef Beach is a challenge that will reward you with beach fishing and sand dunes to explore. If you prefer, you can set up camp near the camp kitchen. This area is ideal for group bookings as well as individuals. The camp kitchen is basic with a BBQ, bar, fridge and a sink with running untreated rain water. A clean toilet is also provided but no shower. It is recommended that you are self-contained as the camp kitchen has no water or power outlets, (hookups) for caravans or RV's. No generators please. Campfire in the communal firepit area is welcome except during a fire ban. Firewood and kindling are provided for your convenience. While sitting around the fire, you can see the stars and listen to the night sounds. Don't forget the marshmallows. We are a dog friendly camp-site but please keep your pets on a leash. If you wish to take your dog off the lead for a run, there is a designated off leash area in the top paddock. You may even see our family of kangaroos on your walk. Toolibut is an ideal place to park up and explore the surrounding area. Bremer Bay has excellent beaches, whale tours and the world renowned Fitzgerald River National Park with its unique wildflowers and viewing platforms for whale watching.

Such a welcoming and charming environment, the host Lynda was amazing and was nice to chat with and made it known she was available if we needed her (their dogs were also a nice treat). Our site felt private and well maintained, the birdlife was abundant and view of the stars were spectacular; there is also an enjoyable bush walk on the property. Camp features all your basic necessities (kitchen, shower, toilet) and is kept clean. This particular camp spot is a little far out of town centre but well worth the drive if you like a charming genuine bushcamp feel. My partner and I had a really nice overnight stay, we would have happily stayed longer 😊

We loved stopping for two nights at Toolibut Grove for the peacefulness and connection with the bush. Lynda told us about the Toolibut Tree and we also discovered a beautiful grove of Paperbarks on one of the many trails on the property. Simple sites, not fancy, but precious in that we could embed our van in a naturistic setting. Lynda was easy to get on with and welcomed us to their property, also making suggestions about what to do in Bremer Bay. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

What a lovely peaceful spot we loved our three nights here. Lovely bush walking tracks,kangaroos & emus. Lynda was friendly & made sure we were ok on our second day.

So friendly and welcoming. After a long tiring drive Lynda reignites your energy with her enthusiasm and attentiveness. The site is rustic (by design) but has all the conveniences you need to camp and enjoy and Is well maintained with pleasing artistry dotted around.

Best place to camp by far if you are anywhere near Bremer Bay. Kevin & Lynda immediately made us feel at home as soon we arrived and were very accessible if we needed help with anything. The camp kitchen, toilets (flushable by the way 🙂) and BBQ facilities are definitely 10/10. Firepit surrounded by beach sand and sockets to charge your multiple devices on the side. We had good phone signal. I highly recommend this spot and most certainly coming back 😄. You will not be disappointed.

Toolibut is a great spot for campers who want something different to main stream camp sites. This idyllic spot is close to Bremer Bay and offers privacy and space. Highly recommended for people travelling with dogs. The hosts are fantastic to deal with and maintain a clean and tidy facility. Will definitely be back!!

The Shed
My partner and I stayed at the shed near the meadow and what a treat! Beautiful bush all around. Kevin would top up our wood for us without even asking and gave great pointers about where to go. It’s only around 20 minutes from Bremer town and extremely close to some amazing beaches. We’ll be coming back here definitely!

Very well kept site and friendly and accommodating host who was happy to share great locations to visit while in Bremer Bay. Only a short drive to town and close to the tracks to reef beach and Fitzgerald National Park.

Toolibut is excellent. The camp sites are well spread out from each other and you have a choice of open spaces or more secluded in amongst trees. Extremely quiet and loved hearing the frogs in the dam overnight. Very peaceful and isolated camping spot, but only 30 mins tops to Bremmer Bay for coffee, beaches, etc. A standout is the Camp Kitchen - a very large structure that is airy and enclosed on 3 sides and roof. Large table, fridge, kettle...Having a loo, and a non smelly one that flushed was great. Lynda was very helpful and takes pride in her place. Saw a long-necked black turtle! The property is 60 acres, and my dog loved going on runs around the place. 100% recommend.

Lynda & Kev are great hosts and have a wonderful place! Being self sufficient, we really made good use of the shed area for shelter from bad weather, warm fire and a useful enclosure as well. Our dog also had a ball, from 2 nights to 3, We would definitely recommend 👌

Great spot! out of the way, quiet place to camp . Lots of nature. And all the amenities for bush camping or many acres of paddocks. Close 4x4 tracks to miles of beach driving. Very nice helpful hosts. Thanks Kevin & Linda for a great break!

The Meadow
Awesome time. Its a great place to stay. We stayed at the shed, which had a fire pit and we had a campfire each night. There was a large compound connected to the shed to allow pets to run around, which was great if your pet has poor recall like ours. There is walking trails all around the property which were fun to explore. We used toolibut as a base to explore all the local towns and areas. Kevin and Lynda were very friendly and advised us on where to go and where to visit not only in the local area, but also where we were travelling next. When we are back in the Bremer bay area we will definitely stay at Toolibut bush camp. Well done Kevin and Lynda.

We had a wonderful 5 days at Toolibut Bush Camp with our two dogs. Lynda and Kevin were so welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our stay went well. We had loads of space on the middle paddock site and there were plenty of open spaces on the property for the dogs to run. They had an amazing time! Camp kitchen area was clean and the hot shower was lovely. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. Would definitely stay again.

Super camp with very friendly hosts. Well laid out and great communal fire pit. The track to reef beach in the 4x4 was well worth the effort, it’s 10km and rough with a steep descent at the end, the beach and the dunes were epic. Had great fun

We had a Beautiful stay at Toolibut Bush Camp !! Such a peaceful setting , not too far off the main road, but you felt like you where miles from anywhere. The farm had a lovely flat green meadow , surrounded by native bush. The Kangaroos greeted us at dusk , and the Cocatoos and Magpies greeted us at dawn. When we arrived at Toolibut , the host Lynda gave us the biggest welcoming smile and wave - which after a long day on the road was heart-warming . She led us to our camp spot on her quad bike , and couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly and down to earth. For our first ever Hipcamp - we would have to rate Toolibut as 10/10 🥰💖

Lovely spending Easter weekend here, lots of space, nothing close by so be prepared with supplies and just relax and enjoy small walks through the bush. Fun 4wd track to Reef beach. Dump point on property.

Nice & quiet camped top paddock close to camp kitchen & amenities. Enjoyed the walk thru the swamp gums & paperbark bush walk, spotted the fairy & gnomes hiding in several spots. We were greeted by Lynda & her fur babies, & guides to our campsite. Thank you for your hospitality Lynda & for taking me to spot the Bunny Orchids that I missed on my walk.

We had a great stay! The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, and the site was well set up. There was a clean toilet and shower, plus a shared kitchen that had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay again — highly recommend.
