The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here outside of our cellar door hours. Overflow camping is also available in the paddock across from the winery, suitable over summer when it is dry and we are running our summer music events over the weekend. Please get in touch to enquire about this. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist, this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We also offer Cheese Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.As the sites are not numbered when you arrive you can pick whatever site is available. To say staying at Rockcliffe Winery was a last minute decision would be an understatement! We had planned only to stay for lunch and a wine tasting before moving on to another campsite. However we loved the winery and decided it would be great if we could set up there and then. Which we managed to do very quickly through HipCamp and Steve was very quick to confirm our booking. The location was peaceful and scenic. The site located on a level pad up the side of a hill immediately adjacent vineyards and very close to the winery restaurant (but far enough away for privacy). The site was also very close to Denmark and was easy driving distance to the local beaches and attractions.

Beautiful spot, camping with views of huge guns and the vineyard. We stayed 2 nights over a weekend and on the Friday there was live acoustic music and delicious wood fired pizzas at the winery. Thank you for letting us camp here!

We had such a fantastic experience at Rockcliffe Winery. From the moment we arrived, everything felt relaxed, peaceful, and unhurried. Which is exactly what you want when you’re enjoying a winery. Steve was a brilliant host, super welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the whole tasting experience feel personal and enjoyable. The wine was absolutely amazing, with a great range to suit different tastes. What really stood out was how quiet and calming the whole setting was. It’s the perfect place to unwind and take your time. Music on Friday nights was also a welcome treat! We will be back.

Incredible view! Would highly recommend - we got there really late so, so would suggest to get there during the day! Wish we tried their wine and food - looks great, and heard good things about it from the people who are camping next to us!

We were fortunate to be able to add another night to what was oringally just a quick stop over camp for one night. The site was easy to access in our 6m campervan and it was so peaceful and beautiful that we chose to linger. A great spot to relax, enjoy the afternoon sun, birds and vineyard vibe. Thank you Steve!

Great spot, not far from Denmark town centre. The winery is right on a stunning tourist drive which meanders through several wineries and beautiful countryside. Rockcliffe has a great range of wines & beers. Once we were all set up, we purchased a bottle and had a picnic at our campsite surrounded by the vines, such a great experience.

We had an incredible stay at Rockcliffe Winery! My girlfriend and I parked our campervan right in the vineyards, and it was such a unique and relaxing experience waking up surrounded by the vines. We stopped by the cellar door for a tasting, and Steve, the owner, was awesome—super friendly, funny, and made the whole experience even better. The wine was great, and the pizza was seriously delicious. Overall, an easy 10/10. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through!
