We took our caravan, our friends and our dog. Everyone loved Trapwell Farm! The portaloos were in very good condition so we saved filling our loos 🤣 it was lovely and quiet. Cathie’s communication was excellent and thorough. We’ll be back for a lamb spit next time!

Just a lovely place to be. Quietly nestled in amongst the trees, this idyllic location is a must for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle. Off grid campers, rejoice! A short stroll away from your secluded and spacious site is welcoming shower and toilet facitlities! You can "rough" it without roughing it. Seriously though, this place is a must. And Errol and Nola are just the best.

We had a great stay! Shane is a very easygoing and friendly host, and he was more than willing to accommodate our check-in and check-out times, which made everything so convenient. Nice spot only 1hr Sth of Perth. Lots of bush to choose from with plenty of privacy. Campfires allowed which is rare these days. Paul was good- gave the lay of the land, and then headed off. Lovely region, only a few minutes out from Pinjarra. Woke to the sound of birds in the morning. Kids loved it

1 night at Herron Point Farm Stay

Loved this campsite! Pulled up & Paul greeted us at the gate and guided us to our campsite & gave us a run down of the property & site. Husband cranked up the provided firepit while we visited the resident emu's & ventured over to visit the pet alpacas. Paul informed us that we could cut some firewood so off we trotted with chainsaw in hand. Got enough wood for us for the night & left some for the next people. Cranked up the fire & cooked a stew over the fire.... absolutely delicious. The only thing I had in my head from the description was it was in a very large paddock, very quiet & away from other campsites which wasn't really the case. The next campsite was 50m away... which didn't worry us but it may worry some people. Good little site perfect for disconnecting from normal life. Great hosts!

We just returned from the most unforgettable family trip to Qualin Farm Bush Camp, and I can’t say enough wonderful things about it! From start to finish, it was the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and genuine country hospitality. We went with our kids, and they absolutely loved every second. From wide-open spaces to roam, to meeting friendly farm animals and exploring the bush trails, there was never a dull moment. The camp is beautifully set up—clean, rustic, and very peaceful, with all the essentials you need for a comfortable stay close to nature. One of the highlights was our full tour of the farm. The hosts took the time to show us around the entire property—feeding animals, learning about farm life, and discovering hidden pockets of beauty. The kids were in awe, and honestly, so were we. It's the kind of experience that brings families closer and creates lasting memories. But what really sets Qualin Farm apart is the warmth and helpfulness of the hosts. When we were packing up to leave, our car battery unexpectedly died. We were a bit stressed with the kids in tow, but the amazing hosts didn’t hesitate to lend a hand. They quickly helped us jump-start the car and made sure we were safe and ready to head out. Their kindness turned a potential hassle into just another part of the adventure. If you're looking for a peaceful, authentic farm experience with your children—or just want to unwind in nature—Qualin Farm Bush Camp is an absolute gem.

Weekend Trip to Dougal Retreat

Loved staying at Dougal Retreat, beautful location right on the river, stunning views over the lush green river shrub, big skies, not too far away to river walking tracks and the beach. Lots of pockets on the property to find a camp that suits you, generous facilities ~ fire pits and fire wood, canoes, hot shower and flush toilet in the farm shed. Sara and Paul are so so welcoming, and we were very appreciative of giving us our space as we have a fearful doggo. Loved Sara's passion for animal, human connection and her work with equine therapy. Overall, a much needed relaxing stay ♡

Beautiful cooler weather camp. Lots of lovely trees, farm animals, cafe, bar and playground. Farm birds like peacocks, chickens and turkeys wander around and visit your camp, they are friendly and didn't bother us. It was easy to find, hosts were lovely and the facilities were pretty good. Will definitely be back with friends and kids 8/10

We had an absolutely amazing stay at emu Camp! From the moment we arrived, the owner was incredibly welcoming and had excellent communication throughout our visit, making everything run smoothly for our large group. The property itself is truly something special — a perfect farm stay experience with wide open spaces that gave us a real sense of being out in the Australian outback. There were plenty of areas for the children to run around and play safely, and the animals on the property were a real highlight — a joy for both kids and adults alike. The accommodation was well thought out and easily catered to our entire group, making it an ideal place for families or larger gatherings. Highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for a peaceful, rural getaway with a warm, personal touch. We’ll definitely be back!

Very easy spot not far from Perth Metro making it an easy weekend. We stayed in site 7 and it was perfect for our camper trailer, plenty of room and compared to some of the other van sites was wider in the front area so perfect for additional awnings if wanted. The kids loved the animals and the playground, pizza was great for a quick easy first night dinner. Birds are very friendly so don’t leave food out. Once fire bans lifted they allow fire pits to be used.

THE DEPT - DPIRD - Agriculture - has advised us to stop campers bringing wood onto our property due to the outbreak of the SHOT HOLE BORER. It would be devastating if this dreadful bug should come this far. We appreciate your co-operation. Pinegrove is a small property of 107 acres nestled in the forest away from traffic and suburbia, 14 kilometers off the Brookton Highway. We run Merino sheep and have pure bred Border Collies for sheep work and dog trialing, which is Ivan's sport . It's a natural bush block with cleared areas. We welcome campers and people wanting to park their caravan or RV. Campfires are permitted (except when fire bans are on). Free firewood to collect. We ask that campers do not use the bush as a toilet please, this is not acceptable and please do not empty caravan toilets on any part of our property please. There is a toilet in the shed at the Homestead or please bring a portable toilet, We do have to limit the use of the toilet if our water supply runs low as we depend on rainwater for all our needs. We appreciate campers to be self contained if possible. Well behaved dogs are welcome, they should be on a lead if coming anywhere near the sheep or Homestead please. There are no swimming spots at our place, there is a pool in town which is 30 minutes away. There is plenty to see and do in the area such as Boyagin Rock you can climb, we are only 30 minutes from Brookton, 40 minutes from Beverley and about 45 minutes from York. You are also welcome to watch host Ivan training the sheepdogs!

Mondurup Escape - Kendenup

This beautiful property is a 75-acre farm and vineyard, overlooking the Stirling Ranges, with a tree-lined stream separating the property into two halves. It is a stone's throw from the neighbouring cellar door, and visitors are encouraged to participate in seasonal activities, and sample and enjoy the local produce. It is near Stirling Range National Park and Porongurup National Park and Skywalk, with unique flora and fauna, mountain climbing, and walking experiences. Harmony Retreat

Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens, a mischievous mini pig named Peppa (who loves pats), sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. Older children will need to be supervised. Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times. There are no cooking facilities available for guests at present, however we are currently in the process of building a camp kitchen). Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). Fish, Fibre & Forage Farm at Tammin

Stay on a working small mixed farm just out of Tammin, where sustainability is a priority and the environment is valued. For this reason, we only allow a very limited number of visitors at any one time. We're waiting for our first rains in March/April so that our world goes green again! We're not far from town, so you can bring your tennis racquets and have a free hit on the hardcourts (even at night), or bring your bikes, especially the kids so they can ride around on farm tracks. Plus there are wonderful playgrounds in nearby Cunderdin and Kellerberrin. Tammin is central to almost everything in the Wheatbelt and this year there are some great events happening nearby. Checkout the Central Wheatbelt Visitor Centre for a rundown of what is on where. The Wheatbelt is now well serviced with RV dumps (closest 10kms) and EV Charging at Northam and Merredin. The A Class Charles Gardner Reserve is just up the road and you can always find something special flowering throughout the year. In August and September the wildflowers are out and it's especially beautiful. We have a small fish farm on-site so you can arrange a tour, or if available, fresh fish for dinner. Currently we don't have any available but you can ask Fred about his Metal workshop and see some of his artwork around the property. We have sheep and guard alpacas. If you want to meet them or the alpacas up close and personal (across the fence). Let us know and we'll arrange it! *** We also have a small mob of Red PollxDexter cattle. They live behind the only Electric fence on the property. We'll remind you about it when we greet you. This year the Merino ewes that we breed for wool will start lambing from around May 7th. Around this time, we don't usually allow any dogs to visit. If you are thinking of bringing your dog at any time please check with us first. ***We love our animals and so we need to be vigilant with Biosecurity. Please ensure any clothing or footwear you have with you has been thoroughly cleaned and is free from any soil or manure. Unfortunately you cannot visit if you have been outside Australia in the past 7 days.

Eddies Beach Farm, Forest Hill

We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space, as you have the entire property to yourselves. 20% discount for weeknights, that is Sunday night through to Thursday night. Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill. Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach. Campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and leave no trace. Groups of up to 6 families (people who know each other) can be accommodated at any one time. As you are the only ones camping, you're welcome to make a bit of noise (music, generators etc). The rate is $38 for up to two adults, per night, $19 per extra adult per night, and any accompanying children (under 18) are free. Note: Please still add children to the booking, you will not be charged, but it's important we know numbers. Whilst the Hipcamp website considers children as anyone under 13 years of age, we consider them as anyone under 18, and are happy for you to create the booking accordingly. Campfires are permitted in the designated area only, provided conditions are suitable and there are no local fire bans (can change daily). We will advise campers on arrival and any changes throughout your stay. Firewood can be provided. Whilst any time is good for camping, we recommend trying to time your trip with the New Moon and Full Moon - the skies here are brilliant at night! Marvel at the Milky Way from your hammock, or see the countryside lit up at night by the full moon. Well-behaved, trained, socialised and fully vaccinated pets are welcome too. Telstra and Optus work in most areas. We have free WIFI at the designated campsite area. We are located 19km from Mt Barker, surrounded by local wineries, including West Cape Howe, Poachers Ridge, Arcadia and Gilberts. The property makes a great base camp for day trips to Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Stirling Ranges and the Porongurup Ranges. IMPORTANT: NO FIREARMS. NO SWIMMING IN DAMS. Be mindful, this is a working property. No entry to sheds without prior approval from management. The dams and streams are unfenced, care should be exercised around these areas especially with small children. For those campers who need extra sleeping arrangements for friends or family who wish to join your camp and don't have the ability to camp, we may be able to offer a solution. Speak to us directly when making the booking. We look forward to welcoming you. The property is new for camping and under continual improvement, so we would love your feedback. We are not a commercial campground. We have two (2) pet enclosures that measure approx. 1.8 x 4 mt, half enclosed with video surveillance so you can keep an eye on your pet from your phone while you enjoy the wineries, mountain climbing, national parks or just a day out by yourselves. The pet owner is required to provide bedding, water and food for the pet in the enclosure.

Toolibut Bush Camp

Toolibut Bush Camp is a secluded, tranquil 68 acre bush block set back one kilometre from Borden-Bremer Bay Road, 32 kilometres from Bremer Bay, Western Australia. You can choose either a secluded area to camp where you can surround yourself with natural bush, Yates, and Toolibut trees or a more wide open space where two or three caravans traveling together can park with plenty of room. There are walk trails to explore that meander through the bush, wetlands and paperbark thickets. Keep a lookout for kangaroos and bird life. For the 4x4 enthusiast, the 9 km track to Reef Beach is a challenge that will reward you with beach fishing and sand dunes to explore. If you prefer, you can set up camp near the camp kitchen. This area is ideal for group bookings as well as individuals. The camp kitchen is basic with a BBQ, bar, fridge and a sink with running untreated rain water. A clean toilet is also provided but no shower. It is recommended that you are self-contained as the camp kitchen has no water or power outlets, (hookups) for caravans or RV's. No generators please. Campfire in the communal firepit area is welcome except during a fire ban. Firewood and kindling are provided for your convenience. While sitting around the fire, you can see the stars and listen to the night sounds. Don't forget the marshmallows. We are a dog friendly camp-site but please keep your pets on a leash. If you wish to take your dog off the lead for a run, there is a designated off leash area in the top paddock. You may even see our family of kangaroos on your walk. Toolibut is an ideal place to park up and explore the surrounding area. Bremer Bay has excellent beaches, whale tours and the world renowned Fitzgerald River National Park with its unique wildflowers and viewing platforms for whale watching.

Westways Wildflower Farm

A sheep and wildflower farm 200Kms north of Perth. We export preserved native flowers with a constant array of flowers which is at its best during the spring months. There is a self-drive loop set up to enable visitors to see the flowers where they grow. Choose from either the Flower Shed sites, which have a toilet and hot shower, or tuck yourself into the secluded sites amongst the River Gum plantation, which is best for self-contained campers (however there is a long-drop). All sites are flat and easily accessible for all vehicles. Dogs are welcome but must be contained by owners at all times .The sites all have fire pits, and campfires are allowed provided fire restrictions are not in place. You are welcome to collect firewood from the property for use during your stay.

The Hive Cafe is open Fri & Sat Night 6pm-8pm Pizza only Sat & Sun 11am-3pm Unfortunately, we've had to raise our camping fees due to theft, breakages, and irresponsible behaviour that persistently occur. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NO-SMOKING FARM. Interaction with farm animals. There are roosters that will crow early morning. PLEASE DO NOT CHASE ANY OF THE ANIMALS. ALL sites are NON-powered Dogs on leash allowed outside only, not inside café. Campfires - Sunday 1st of June campfires are permitted. BYO firewood and campfires to be secure in a fire pit/brazier. Nearest toilet dump site is Bindoon Oval. Recycling Bins are available. Generator noise can disturb other people’s enjoyment of the area and disturb native wildlife and the farm animals, so think about using alternatives. Solar panels and inverters are the best ways to provide power for your must-have devices when camping and can be used anywhere. However we do allow generators, but they can only operate strictly between 9am-6pm. Turn down all music and please lower your voices at 8pm, we don't mind if you still have fun, but take other campers into consideration please. All equipment is PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Playground Rules: - Adult Supervision required for use - No bare feet, wear proper footwear - Do not use play equipment improperly - No pushing or shoving Free honey tastings are available when shop is open, but please ask and we can arrange a tasting for you. Jacaranda Hill Farm

We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Qualin Farm bush camp

Camp up in our bushland, with beautiful views of farmland. Enjoy sitting by the campfire, going on a bushwalk or riding your bicycle around the paddocks on dirt tracks. In the spring, there will be beautiful wildflowers to see, in the winter you will be able to walk through our creeks. TO BRING Please be self-contained with water and rubbish, however we do have Sheoak and Jam tree logs that you can collect for firewood and a compost toilet. Also please bring insect repellent, the spring can coincide with lots of mosquitos and flies. If you would like to bring your own firewood, you can buy some at the Bindoon roadhouse on the way. If you need access to drinking water and waste removal, there are facilities available at nearby caravan parks, such as Goomalling or Wongan Hills. We also provide non-potable water near the compost toilet for you to use for showers. ARRIVAL We are located in between Goomalling and Calingiri. Qualin farm sign in angled towards the Goomalling side, so could be difficult to see if driving from Calingiri. Drive slowly on approach of the driveway entry, as it on a corner. At the end of the driveway we have an information board to assist you in finding your spot as well as signs. If you need any help and would like to be welcomed to your spot, please let us know. PHONE RECEPTION During your drive, there can be limited phone reception, however, all campsites have some reception from most phone providers. If you do not have reception at the end of the driveway and need assistance, simply drive up the gravel road to the top of the hill (a right turn from the shed). THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Bindoon bakehouse or Toodyay bakery are great places to stop for a snack or lunch on your drive from Perth. Both locations are approximately 1 hour from our farm. Bindoon also has established free mountain biking trails. New Norcia is an interesting historical town with museums, galleries and tours. It is a 40 minute drive from our farm. Goomalling has a lovely coffee shop called Lot 39 store and cafe. It is open weekdays and the bakery is open weekends. Dougal Retreat

Horses and small animal experience available, ask on arrival. I recommend booking a walk with the horses along the river for an hour. This campsite has access to a beautiful toilet/hot shower and drinking water supply in the workshop. There is also an outdoor shower in a water tank surround and an outside bath heated by a fire. Small camp kitchen with coffee machine, fridge, sink and bench also in the workshop. Large outdoor movie screen, we generally screen family movies on Saturday night among the gum trees and strings of lighting. Please enquire if you are interested. Campfires and bonfires permitted in winter. No fire from October to May. While you're here check out the Greenough walk and cycle track that follows the river. It's only 3km to the beach, and you can walk or take your bike there (bike hire is available in town). We have canoes. Greenough Settlement/café and Wild Life Park close by. Pets welcome on a lead. Off lead welcome after we had met and chatted. Dogs are a danger to all horses, guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens. Off lead without consultation will not be tolerated. Please enter Devlin Pool Rd at the Northern end where it meets Jandanol Rd. We are the 3rd driveway.
