No kayaks, canoes or floating-type watercraft are able to be used in this section of the river due to the large crocodiles that live here. A plunge pool is available for a 'cool off'. Our campgrounds are a good one hour drive from Kununurra or Wyndham and about 1.5 hours to the Gibb River Road. Be sure your vehicle is set for dirt road with good tyres including spares and water for yourself. This is non mobile phone country so take care and travel to conditions. We only have one dome and two camping sites, so you will have privacy…well except for our family of kangaroos that come in each night to say hello, visiting rare Black-tail Carnaby and Red-tail Cockatoos plus all the native small birds, finches and blue wrens. The dome is designed to offer many conveniences while harmonising with the natural environment, ensuring a comfortable, memorable and eco-friendly stay. Whether you're hiking the nearby trails, riding the world renown Munda Biddi bike trail, exploring local wineries, on a truffle hunt or simply stargazing our glamping dome offers a unique escape to recharge your spirit and reconnect with the great outdoors. Off-grid...😊 There is limited mobile reception, you may get 1 bar of 3G or 4G. However the small township of Quinninup 2km away has reasonable reception from Telstra and Vodaphone.

Travel the old drover's track [now a scenic road - Parry Creek Road] to Hairy Dog's Fishing Camp and Lazy Dog campsite, located on the banks of the Ord River, home to the famous sportfish - barramundi. Tropical wildlife, lots of birdlife and crocodiles coexist here and you have river views, access to boat ramps, local attractions including a bird sanctuary. Set above highwater mark, the campsite sits safely on the riverbank with views of the historical landmark on the Bend of the Ord, House Roof Hill. Birdlife twitters about all day (and some through the night), while agile wallabies hop on by. Trees for shade and water for cooking/washing make for a comfortable campsite. A shared and well-maintained ablution block contains 2 showers and 2 flush toilets for all to use. You can enjoy an open fire at our large fire-pit. If you have your own boat, it can be launched and moored from the camp's boat ramp. No kayaks, canoes or floating-type watercraft are able to be used in this section of the river due to the large crocodiles that live here. A plunge pool is available for a 'cool off'. Our campgrounds are a good one hour drive from Kununurra or Wyndham and about 1.5 hours to the Gibb River Road. Be sure your vehicle is set for dirt road with good tyres including spares and water for yourself. This is non mobile phone country so take care and travel to conditions. Here’s a refined, polished version of your updated review, keeping your voice and enthusiasm: ⸻ A beautiful spot! The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The property is close to the dam. The weather was a bit too chilly for swimming, but that didn’t stop our furry friend from jumping in and having an absolute ball! There’s also a paddleboard and a rope swing available for use. Our furry friend loved having plenty of open space to explore. The National Forest is nearby, so it’s best to keep dogs on a lead in that area due to baiting — but there are no baits on Shukuru Farm itself. Being a farm, there were a few flies, but nothing a fly net couldn’t fix. The wind was strong during our stay, so most of them were blown away anyway. The fire pits were a lovely bonus, and the starry skies at night were absolutely stunning. Such a relaxing, peaceful stay — I would definitely recommend staying here!

We recently stayed at Mountfort Wines & Cider winery in Pemberton in our caravan and absolutely loved it! The grounds were peaceful, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Our caravan spot was level and easy to access, with plenty of space and a real sense of privacy. The hosts were incredibly friendly - happy to chat about the wines and cider and offer recommendations. The tasting experience was relaxed and enjoyable. If you're travelling by caravan and want a quiet, scenic place to unwind, this winery is perfect.

Dougy's Den is a magical little spot to camp. Beautiful surroundings with tall trees, ferns and babbling brook. Flushing toilet and cold shower, table and chairs under a gazebo. Dougy's Den is a well thought out site and Graeme is a top bloke. Will definitely be back!

We can’t seem to stop coming to this spot, we just love it so much. Of course the views are incredible and Dave is the kindest host! We love that coming here is so peaceful and we find we’re able to switch off from the noise of the city, even if only for a couple nights it is very much worth it. Definitely recommend booking it in, you won’t regret it!

We enjoyed our stay, David was very accommodating to our 3 vans, 1 tent, 7 people and 3 dogs. Our view of the lake was lovely and there were some nice tracks to walk along. 100% not the hosts fault but just a heads up to other campers that there are ticks around.
