Lake Kepwari Getaway
Best lake view
We did our first family camping trip here and it was a good experience me my partner and 6 kids. They played and explored the lakeside swimming was amazing the water is cold and fresh feeling. The area near the pontoon is shallowest but drops down deep so be mindful for smaller kids.
Stars look so amazing here at night.
We hired a portable toilet from David.
He was the best host made sure we were okay on arrival came and met us and all the kids.
We got the site next to the communal kitchen area. We had a 2 day stay.
Fishing was no luck but we weren't that patient to sit and wait.
We will be coming back.
The ground is hard as a rock so can't peg down tents or swags maybe can drill them in.
There was a fire ban when we camped so couldn't use the fire pit.
The stairs are very stable.
Fresh air fresh water each morning was beautiful.
Did not realise the bbq was so big next time will be bringing a gas bottle to use it. We had our own small portable stove.
Would 10/10 recommend this site.
We realised the cost was more than booking on the other side but so glad we did it.
A lot More privacy and a bit more quiet.

Lake Kepwari Getaway
Absolutely fantastic place to get away and just relax awesome for families and elderly. It is mostly self-sufficient camping, but Collie is not that far if you really need a hot shower or two :)

Lake Kepwari Getaway
A group of us ladies spent a fabulous couple of days in this idyllic spot. Some liked it so much they stayed longer. Beautiful views of the lake we swam, canoed, paddle boarded and swam in. A perfect place to sit and unwind in the peace and quiet. David was a very friendly helpful host and would recommend this place wholeheartedly

Lakeside Camping
We had a fantastic few days at David's farm. The location is perfect, right on the edge of a beautiful lake. We spent time on the pontoon, kayaking, sup boarding or just cooling off with a swim. The camp kitchen, right on the edge of the lake, is very rustic with a large BBQ plate, full gas bottle and lots of bench space. A large firepit for when there is no fire ban in place - look forward to coming back to use that. No set sites as such so you can set up anywhere on two very large, open spaces. No power, water or ablution block but for our group booking a portable toilet was provided. You must be self contained. Pets allowed on a leash as it is a working farm with animals. There is not much shade so gazebos are useful and the ground is very hard so a drill would come in handy. Most of our time was spent in the camp kitchen and in or on the water. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back.
