Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need. You can see the redtail cockatoos that visit us in December plus a nature walk to wander along (ask for details ) The Hipcamp is located away from the main house so is private. There is an artists studio on the property with the main woodfired salt glazing pottery kiln being fired once or twice a year. We welcome visitors to the studio -lots happening at Easter 2026(see photos) We often have our own eggs, honey, fruit and farm produce for sale. There is grey water available for topping your tanks up There are brochures in the studio for more information on the local attractions. 68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this isolated pocket. We have five sites available. Four for self-contained campers/vans only, you MUST bring everything with you including a toilet. Shed Pad, has power available and an optional private bathroom. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of our five campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. Shed Pad Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with an optional private bathroom. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

Each site is close to the Murray River and is surrounded by nature, so you truly feel far away from the rest of the world. The property is close to the famous Bibbulmun track, with Harvey and Boddington equal distances away, so options to explore the region easily. Campers can go for walks along the river, relax, and enjoy the sounds of nature. Throw your kayak in for a paddle. Throw a line in and try your luck at fishing. As the day slips away, catch a beautiful sunset, as you toast marshmallows by the campfire (outside of fire restriction times). There are no toilets or amenities, so all campers need to be fully self-contained in that respect, with their own camp toilet and water, and we ask you to take all waste when you go. There’s also little to no cell reception at the sites. There is background noise from the nearby conveyer belt that goes on and off randomly. Some people take it as soothing white noise while others think it’s overbearing. Pet-friendly, so you're welcome to bring your four-legged friend along. Unplug from everyday life, escape and reconnect with friends and family in nature.

We enjoyed our stay Easter long weekend, having the horses and sheep in the paddock with us was a nice touch and gave them some apples and carrots to eat which they enjoyed. We were delighted to see some possums down near the river across from us at night which was great. The only thing I would suggest is might be best to have flags up for where people can camp as some really don’t have any respect on personal space.

Second time back at this amazing location to spend our Easter. Beautiful space which is quiet and secluded, while still a convenient distance from Donnybrook town. The kids love the pump track as well as the sheep and horses. Highly recommend! we will be back

We loved the flying fox site and watching the black cockatoos flying around. The sites are very spread out so we could only see one other group like 300m away Our pup loved being off leash. we didn’t swim in the dam but if it was filled with more water we would have. It was the perfect location for a day trip to Ferguson valley and lots of dog friendly cellar doors Make sure you screenshot the directions to find your site - really helpful

There is a toilet on site, so we just brought our camping shower. The actual camp-site is lovely: its amongst very young gum trees.

We loved this peaceful and secluded camp-site! We haven't seen a human our whole stay, barely heard any human noices in the distance, and had birds for company. The directions were perfect, our Host, Shane was very easy to communicate with beforehand. Easy access by 2WD. Dogs are not allowed on other sites, so ours were the only dogs on the propety - which matters to our reactive rescue, kept his calm and happy, and let us really relax. We got a real break from the city. We are already booked again.

Beautiful scenery and the road down past big rock, the rapis etc was a surprise detour as the bridge was closed. Unfortunately didn't get to see the Wellington dam though.
