68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this isolated pocket. We have five sites available. Four for self-contained campers/vans only, you MUST bring everything with you including a toilet. Shed Pad, has power available and an optional private bathroom. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of our five campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. Shed Pad Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with an optional private bathroom. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, situated on top of the hill looking down through the valley. The site is on an elevated spot backed onto state forest with arguably the best views of the farm.  There are no facilities on the site. We are only approved for self contained campers/vans. You MUST bring a toilet with you. 4WD is required in the winter months due to the chance of boggy tracks. Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed. This site has a private bathroom consisting of toilet, deep sink and shower over bath available at an additional fee of $50 which can be booked in the optional extras. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee of $15 for your stay. This site is relatively flat, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of tents/swags. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. Valley Vista
Had 3 nights here and would highly recommend. We stayed on the Valley Vista site which was fantastic. Views for miles, very peaceful and relaxing. The site is fully enclosed which was great for our dog. Couldn’t see or hear the neighbouring sites. We wanted a relaxing weekend and that’s what we got. Away from the hustle and bustle. Hosts were extremely friendly as was their dog Sticks!!! Highly recommend and will definitely will back.

The camp spot was so peaceful. The space was so large but also private. There were so many varieties of birds and the sheep were priceless. This is definitely a campsite we will revisit. Very close to wineries and attractions but still a haven away.

Hidden Corner
Loved our peaceful patch at Hidden Corner. Guided there by Styx the dog upon arrival and loved relaxing the days away watching the Black Cockatoos, Kookaburras and sheep. Farm land views, state forest and lots of peaceful walking tracks. We will return.

Beautifully peaceful, surrounded by bush with lots of birds, kangaroos and even a bobtail. Friendly hosts with the fabulous Styx to welcome and entertain. Thanks and we will be back

Stayed at the vista, heaps of room for multiple site setups. Pretty much only campers there. Peaceful and quiet. The shed pad is quite close to the owners home so book the other sites if you want more privacy. Sticks the dog helped us setup camp and led us the whole way to our site.

Very peaceful and quiet. Heaps of space and couldn’t see other campers. We had three friendly Kookaburras around and also saw lots of Red tailed Black Cockatoos. Friendly farm dog and some sheep in paddock closer to the house.

We loved this camping spot! Valley vista, was beautiful and no other caravan in site! Beautiful woodlands behind to go for a walk too. Went to Oakway winery for excellent wine, views and pizza! Only 5kms away. Nearby Donnybrook is lovely too for a wander. Loved the beautiful farm fresh eggs with our Brekky! Would definitely recommend this peaceful haven 10/10.

Excellent stay in our tent at the shed pad, great spot. Mick greeted us warmly on arrival and checked we had everything we needed as we experienced a bit of weather over our stay. Our kids really enjoyed being able to see the sheep and playing with the very friendly farm dog - a bonus that we added on use of the adjacent bathroom so didn’t have to get too back to basics for our beginner campers, and had a bit of extra shelter during stormy weather.

We had a wonderful stay at Amber Ridge estate. We were at the Valley Vista site which was so quiet with beautiful bird calls to listen to. Very handy to have a gate that allowed us easy access for a walk in the neighbouring state Forrest. Extremely wild weather caused an early return home but we will be booking a return visit for sure.

Red Gum Site has got bush views or Valley views of the Farm, depending on how you set up. It is private with lots of bird life and even a visit from two Possums in the night. Good access and clear instructions to get to site. We will be back.

Great spot about 10 km from Donnybrook. Very quiet and you can’t even see the other sites. We stayed at Valley Vista, one of about 5 sites at Amber Ridge Estate. We chose Valley Vista because we wanted an open area to get maximum solar. We got two dozen eggs from Mick and Dawn. Absolutely recommended.
