In 2022, we were proudly awarded the nationally-recognised Eco Certification for Ecotourism camper amenities include 2 showers ( on timer as we have limited rainwater), 2composting toilets, and an outdoor kitchen built from timber harvested onsite. We are dedicated to creating a more sustainable lifestyle and sharing our beautiful farm with others. As a permaculture farm recycling is a huge part of our culture so please read our detailed guidelines to waste management for campers. The farm features extensive food gardens , a beautiful Yoga Barn, and a farm and forest walks. Our campground is close to town, bush walks and cycle trails. Enjoy eco-friendly amenities and a great vibe, a place to retreat in a beautiful part of the world. Visit the animals, discover our veggie garden and observe the many birds part of our ecosystem. Due to farm commitments, events, courses and retreats, the campground is open to the public only certain times of the year. Open everyday during holidays and long weekend. Open Wednesday to Sunday outside holidays Closed from mid june till mid September We have limited space for caravans, RVs and camper trailers. Please message us first to make sure we still have space. Please note that shady site are limited. We highly recommend campers to read the rules before arrival, thank you in advance! Fair Harvest Retreat Rules 1 - CHECK IN is between 2 and 6 pm, for late arrivals let us know your ETA. CHECK OUT by 10 am 2 - ON ARRIVAL, stop at the self check-in area. Register your details. Find your name and camp site number on the whiteboard. Grab a map and set up your camp. 3 - KIDS should always be accompanied beyond the immediate campground. 4 - Enjoy a SHORT WALK around the gardens. We kindly ask you to keep the gates closed and not to pick the food. FARM WALK, follow the walk trail sign around our forest about 30/40 min.. 5 - DOGS should be on a lead at all time, we do have 1 designated paddock (not fenced) where you can have your dog off leads, please ask us. All food even meat should be given to the chickens (bin in the kitchen) There is a 10C refund bin (this goes to charity) A recycling bin at the front gate. A general waste bin at the front gate. We do not accept mixed rubbish in our bin, so if you don't separate take them away with you. We will be more than happy to explain and help you with your waste. 8 - QUIET time from 9pm - please be mindful of others campers - no parties or late music. The ones which are secluded, capture beautiful pieces of light at certain times of the day, where the black cockatoos love to rest on the branches of the gum trees, the areas where weeping peppermints create a haven and the frequencies and syncronities of the frogs elevate at certain times of the year and times of the day are so loud that you cant hear yourself think. As a result we have a number of beautiful secluded spots on our property we would love to share. As we are small and have no facilities and we can only accept a small number who are fully self contained. (Please see NOTES below) Our region 'Margaret River' is famous for WINE but there are so many other things that make this place special. A wild but beautiful coastline uninhibited by people, karri forest, caves, mountain bike trails and a 120km coastal walk. We are also known for surfing and close by are a number of world famous breaks including Surfers Point which is located 20 minutes from the farm. Closer to the farm you can enjoy a short walk to a beautiful winery called SI Vintners, drive to The Berry Farm or the quirky town of Witchcliffe. At Witchcliffe you will find Darnell's General Store which has a beautiful giftshop (The Shed), cellar door (Amato Vino), coffee shop (Witchy Brews) and fantastic pub (Dear Darnells) and vintage stores which it has become reknown for. We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and café. Our campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something. We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit. Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests and our farm animals, we do require all DOGS TO BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES. Also, if you go out for the day, your dog must not be left unattended. NO TOILET = NO STAY There are no toilets and all guests must have either a built-in toilet or some form of Porta Potty of their own. For your convenience, we have a dump point on site for guests. Please understand our recent increase in nightly rate is due to a significant increase in the tank emptying/disposal costs. Off the ground campfires are permitted outside of fire ban season. There are swimming options nearby.

We are a family homestead on 5 acres planted out to permaculture principles back in the late 70's with some 40 different varieties of fruit and nut trees to graze on. Our Toobs are repurposed 2.1m diameter by 2.4m deep concrete pipes with one way glass, a queen size bed, 2 small bedside tables, light, power points, electric blanket(winter), pedestal fan (summer)all linen, towel and curtains for privacy. Internal volume is just over 9m3. They've been called glamping pods, concrete tents, micro habitats, sleep stations. . . .but at heart, they're an immersive experience. How they look, where they are, the way you sleep and where you wake up is an altogether novel experience that we feel most people will enjoy. Toobs are serviced by a shared safari-style wash house with hot water shower and composting loo. Our block is on the Rails to Trails beside the Margaret River. Main Street and cafe strip are a short 10 minute forest walk away. We are popular with mountain bikers due to our close proximity (ride to trails) MR's MTB trails. Surfer's Point and Prevelly are 9kms away. We have laying hens, horses, a large and active Ring Tail possum tribe and vegetable garden. CAVEATS: -Just to be clear, we encourage our guests to eat out and we do NOT have kitchen and/or cooking facilities. - Our Toobs are tiny spaces and they are not everyone's cup of tea. Exclusive and small your site is nestled into our garden! Situated centrally to Margaret River and Manjimup, our farm is a great base to experience the best of this wonderful area. Surrounded by forests and farmland, you can access national parks and roads with stalls with local produce. Our Campground We have 3 flat grassy areas and 1 gravel base site under trees. Facilities include inside and outside showers, toilets, camp kitchen with BBQ, Fridge, electric frypan and small camp stove, washing machine and device charging facilities. Sorry dogs are not permitted We can take tents, camper trailers, RV's and small caravans up to about 8 m is OK. We do not have power to the campsite. The camp ground is on a working lavender farm and farming activities may be happening. We are small and exclusive so if you can't arrive before DARK please do not book if you cant get to our location during the checkin window 3 to 6 PM The lavender farm shop and cafe is open Friday to Sundays in term and Thursday to Monday during school holidays (closed February and March) but campers can purchase lavender products on request and order takeaway from the menu Camp fires in season (Usually May to September) and weather permitting. We supply fallen logs for the communal fire pit please do not bring your own but fires only at night and not in the morning please! If you have your own firepit or want one you need to purchase a bag of wood. Breakfast Basket or BBQ packs available, these are cook your own we supply all the ingredients and tools or dine in our cafe during your stay. Please note We are small and the sites are close together, we fill up during long weekends and some events. So if your seeking a peaceful campsite then do not book at these times. We only have TELSTRA and the signal is not always good. We do not provide wifi to campers unless there is an urgent need! Beautiful spot. Loved looking over the dam and watching the cows, so nice and relaxing. Owners were lovely. I highly recommend doing a wine tasting as the wine is delicious, we went back to purchase more. A little road noise but that didn’t really bother us. Worth it for the outlook.

We had an amazing stay at Jarvis Estate Winery. The campsite sits right beside the vineyard, and waking up to rows of vines and soft morning light was honestly stunning. Our dogs absolutely loved it too – plenty of space to wander, sniff and explore, and the relaxed, open setting made it really easy to enjoy the weekend with them. We camped with friends, and the grassy sites were perfect for setting up our camper and outdoor area. There was loads of room, a really peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful trees offering shade. It never felt crowded, even with other campers around. The location is fantastic. We spent time in the Boranup Forest, and it was absolutely magical – towering karri trees, quiet trails, and that deep forest stillness you can’t help but soak in. Back at the winery, the wines were incredible. The staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming, creating such a relaxed experience. Tastings felt personal rather than rushed, and it was lovely enjoying a glass right where the grapes are grown. Overall, this spot is the perfect mix of nature, good wine, and easy, peaceful camping. Our friends loved it, our dogs loved it, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended.

Lovely camp within Churchview Estate winery - only 3 sites on the dam and 1 bush camp so plenty of room with vineyards behind you and the dam at the front. Close to highway so you do get some road noise but bearable. Beautiful sunsets and close to Beerfarm brewery. Great spot to base and explore this lovely region.

The Wooditjup National Park is beautiful. Our time was restricted due to extensive rain, but it is worth checking out. Lots of wildlife and beautiful wild flowers to see.

I was talking to my children on messenger group chat/video while I walked the trails in Wooditjup Park? I have Parkinson's which makes everything more challenging. I really wanted to complete a bush hike, and it was great to have Vodafone coverage while on my hike, and share the forest images with my children around the world. The trails were well marked and maintained, and I felt completely safe!!!
