It is a quiet, secluded and peaceful area with abundant wildlife, tree plantations, orchards and seasonal vegetables. There is plenty to see and do in the surround areas, you can check out the amazing Yeagarup Dunes nearby that rise metres above the surrounding karri forest. They are the largest land-locked mobile dune system in the southern hemisphere. You can explore by foot or by 4WD if you are an experienced driver. Yeagarup Lake is a gateway to the dunes and a great place to stop and enjoy a picnic by the water. The Greater Beedelup National Park is nearby where you can explore the many walking trails and check out the Beedalup Falls. Campers must have their own toilet facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome when no restrictions are in place. Sorry, no pets.

Pemberton is also close by and offers winery visits with long relaxing lunches This park caters for only fully self contained travellers, so therefore must provide their own toilet, shower, water and cooking facilities. We do provide rubbish disposal and your pets are welcome but we do ask that you clean up after them. The nearest dump point for waste disposal and potable water is at the Northcliffe Visitor Centre. Surrounded by forests and farmland, you can access national parks and roads with stalls with local produce. Our Campground We have 3 flat grassy areas and 1 gravel base site under trees. Facilities include inside and outside showers, toilets, camp kitchen with BBQ, Fridge, electric frypan and small camp stove, washing machine and device charging facilities. Sorry dogs are not permitted We can take tents, camper trailers, RV's and small caravans up to about 8 m is OK. We do not have power to the campsite. The camp ground is on a working lavender farm and farming activities may be happening. We are small and exclusive so if you can't arrive before DARK please do not book if you cant get to our location during the checkin window 3 to 6 PM The lavender farm shop and cafe is open Friday to Sundays in term and Thursday to Monday during school holidays (closed February and March) but campers can purchase lavender products on request and order takeaway from the menu Camp fires in season (Usually May to September) and weather permitting. We supply fallen logs for the communal fire pit please do not bring your own but fires only at night and not in the morning please! If you have your own firepit or want one you need to purchase a bag of wood. Breakfast Basket or BBQ packs available, these are cook your own we supply all the ingredients and tools or dine in our cafe during your stay. Please note We are small and the sites are close together, we fill up during long weekends and some events. So if your seeking a peaceful campsite then do not book at these times. We only have TELSTRA and the signal is not always good. We do not provide wifi to campers unless there is an urgent need! Blackwood Ridge Nature Park is situated on the Roebank property and as party of the first settlement in this area, both Roebank and the neighbouring Peninsula House have historical significance in Bridgetown. The Roebank Cottage was built in 1890 by the grand-daughter of John Septimus Roe who was a famous civil engineer contributing to the original town planning of Perth City and Roebourne. In the early days, Roebank was used for livestock grazing and had the largest shearing shed this side of Bridgetown used by the neighbouring farmers. Over the years the property has been used as a pear orchard, goat farm and other small farming activities. Today the property operates as a family hobby farm with short-stay accommodation along the river residences and nature park sites on the high points offering scenic views of the valley.

Peaceful Pastures is set over 9.3 acres. The back 5 acres has a watercourse running through which wild ducks frequent. The front 4 acres has a shed in the centre and 3 caravan campsites. We welcome quiet and considerate campers, who are self-contained with their own facilities. A self-contained fire pit is provided at each of the 3 campsites, for use outside the state fire ban that extends from Nov 1st to May 10th. Firewood may be available, but bringing your own is recommended. There is a small water tank, with rainwater available at the tap. This is to be used minimally at times of no rain and not to be used for car or van washing. There are a number of wild kangaroos and emus in the area, which can often be seen when driving along the road. The property is located 2.2 km off the South-Western Highway along a quiet, sealed road. Close by is the Kirup Tavern which has well-priced meals, pool tables and dartboards. It's a 15-minute drive from Donnybrook, with shops, restaurants, weekend markets and the Apple Fun Park, and 11 minutes from the tourist town of Balingup. Guests are welcome to use the trampoline, but children must be supervised, as there is no safety enclosure fitted.
