There is plenty to see and do in the surround areas, you can check out the amazing Yeagarup Dunes nearby that rise metres above the surrounding karri forest. They are the largest land-locked mobile dune system in the southern hemisphere. You can explore by foot or by 4WD if you are an experienced driver. Yeagarup Lake is a gateway to the dunes and a great place to stop and enjoy a picnic by the water. The Greater Beedelup National Park is nearby where you can explore the many walking trails and check out the Beedalup Falls. The camp ground is on a working lavender farm and farming activities may be happening. We are small and exclusive so if you can't arrive before DARK please do not book if you cant get to our location during the checkin window 3 to 6 PM The lavender farm shop and cafe is open Friday to Sundays in term and Thursday to Monday during school holidays (closed February and March) but campers can purchase lavender products on request and order takeaway from the menu Camp fires in season (Usually May to September) and weather permitting. We supply fallen logs for the communal fire pit please do not bring your own but fires only at night and not in the morning please! If you have your own firepit or want one you need to purchase a bag of wood. Breakfast Basket or BBQ packs available, these are cook your own we supply all the ingredients and tools or dine in our cafe during your stay. Blackwood Ridge Nature Park is situated on the Roebank property and as party of the first settlement in this area, both Roebank and the neighbouring Peninsula House have historical significance in Bridgetown. The Roebank Cottage was built in 1890 by the grand-daughter of John Septimus Roe who was a famous civil engineer contributing to the original town planning of Perth City and Roebourne. In the early days, Roebank was used for livestock grazing and had the largest shearing shed this side of Bridgetown used by the neighbouring farmers. Over the years the property has been used as a pear orchard, goat farm and other small farming activities. Peaceful Pastures is set over 9.3 acres. The back 5 acres has a watercourse running through which wild ducks frequent. The front 4 acres has a shed in the centre and 3 caravan campsites. We welcome quiet and considerate campers, who are self-contained with their own facilities. A self-contained fire pit is provided at each of the 3 campsites, for use outside the state fire ban that extends from Nov 1st to May 10th. Firewood may be available, but bringing your own is recommended. There is a small water tank, with rainwater available at the tap. This is to be used minimally at times of no rain and not to be used for car or van washing. There are a number of wild kangaroos and emus in the area, which can often be seen when driving along the road. The property is located 2.2 km off the South-Western Highway along a quiet, sealed road. Close by is the Kirup Tavern which has well-priced meals, pool tables and dartboards. It's a 15-minute drive from Donnybrook, with shops, restaurants, weekend markets and the Apple Fun Park, and 11 minutes from the tourist town of Balingup. Guests are welcome to use the trampoline, but children must be supervised, as there is no safety enclosure fitted.

Peaceful Pastures is set over 9.3 acres. The back 5 acres has a watercourse running through which wild ducks frequent. The front 4 acres has a shed in the centre and 3 caravan campsites. We welcome quiet and considerate campers, who are self-contained with their own facilities. A self-contained fire pit is provided at each of the 3 campsites, for use outside the state fire ban that extends from Nov 1st to May 10th. Firewood may be available, but bringing your own is recommended. There is a small water tank, with rainwater available at the tap. This is to be used minimally at times of no rain and not to be used for car or van washing. There are a number of wild kangaroos and emus in the area, which can often be seen when driving along the road. The property is located 2.2 km off the South-Western Highway along a quiet, sealed road. Close by is the Kirup Tavern which has well-priced meals, pool tables and dartboards. It's a 15-minute drive from Donnybrook, with shops, restaurants, weekend markets and the Apple Fun Park, and 11 minutes from the tourist town of Balingup. Guests are welcome to use the trampoline, but children must be supervised, as there is no safety enclosure fitted.

The restaurant was beautiful and the owners were incredibly friendly! We enjoyed the wine tasting for 20AUD. The site itself was very remote. We were the only people in a massive field. We didn’t go out of the van as the grass was really long and felt there could be snakes about. It was very isolated but if that’s what you’re looking for - amazing views and very quiet!

We loved our overnight stop at the highway hideaway! Clear instructions on how to get there and beautiful signage welcoming you plus marking the site. Matt came over to say hello on his way out and he had moved the sign for our site so we had more privacy. Then Matt’s children came down to give us a welcome gift!! Absolutely yummy home grown, spray free veggies plus choccies and tinsel! Was a beautiful touch and we brought a plant from the kids stall. Loved the fairy garden and the lights, Christmas decorations and ducks!!

This was the perfect little getaway. Matt check in before our stay, provided us with directions that were really easy to follow. Our spot was great size and we had some freedom to position our van how we wanted. Matt came and checked in on us on arrival and brought us some lovely fresh vegetables from their garden. The place is a great family spot. There's swings, ring toss and a kid slide plus heaps of room for the kids and dogs to run away and not be bugging anyone. There's board games and books and a nice seating overlooking the dam. There's heaps of shade in the morning and afternoon but still good sun to charge the panels

Stunning property. Peaceful hideaway surrounded by tall trees with open lawns overlooking dams. Easy access. Really spacious sites making it great for dogs and privacy. The host family obviously work hard to make it perfect. The grounds are maintained to a high standard and even organic veg as a welcome gift. There is also an easy nature walk through the Karri and Marri Trees and a bonus of a cellar door winery next door. Thanks for a perfect stay.
