What a perfect place! Views, peace, nature all in one package. Great to have a visit and fresh garden produce from our host and daughter. After dark was lovely with the fairy garden and tree lights. The Nature walk was delightful and not long. Well set up with little added touches of quoits, board games, books etc. Only ones there so lots of space. Only downside were the ants that came to visit. Thank you Matt!! Just wish we could have stayed longer.

What an amazing, quiet and beautifully maintained campground. Matt and his children have clearly put so much care into the property — the nature trail they’ve created is fantastic, with informative little placards all the way along. We were also delighted when the kids dropped off some fresh veggies from their garden — such kindness and genuine hospitality. A peaceful, thoughtful and well-run farm stay. Highly recommend.

WOW what an amazing property , Matt and his family are so warm , welcoming and fantastic hosts, the grounds to the property are superb and meticulously kept , so beautiful, scenic and well thought out , the serenity is amazing and the abundance of bird and fauna life is exceptional. The attention to detail and facilities for kids ( play ground equipment and games) , down to the nature walk around the edge of the front of the property with its plaques of information on the plant and animal life that frequent the property is a nice touch. The established Karri trees as tall as tall can be are exceptional. I would love to keep this place a secret but can't , I would highly recommend you visit Hideaway Highway its an absolute gem and my husband and I will be visiting again and again.

Great spot to spend a few days with ample room between each site on the property. Matt and family are fantastic hosts and we were surprised with a welcome gift of some lovely organic produce. Grounds are very well maintained with improvements ongoing, much more than just a spot in a paddock and would stay again if in the area.

This is our second stay at Highway Hideaway and won't be our last. The property is always beautiful (so much nature and amazing tall trees) and very well maintained. Matt is such a great host, always making sure we're having the best possible stay. The property is only a few minutes drive from Manjimup and close to wineries and other local producers etc. We look forward to our next visit.

Absolutely loved our stay at this property! The kids had a great time exploring the area, especially with the interpretive signs, discovery trail, and fairy garden. I particularly loved how the trees lit up at night — such a magical touch. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at Highway Hideaway Manjimup. The property was only minutes away from Manjimup town ctr. We were staying at campsite S1, which was tucked away in the corner with dam view and close to a small playground for kids. Plenty of privacy from our neighbours. On the property was an 800m walk trail among tall trees with information placards along the trail. Matt was really friendly and welcoming. Fireplace with some firewood was already waiting for us on arrival. Matt also greeted us and brought a box of organic veggies from his garden as a welcome gift. Easily one of the best looked after property we’ve stayed on Hipcamp. Clearly lots of thoughts and love was put in the property by host. Thank you for welcoming us to your property Matt. We’ll be back :)

Honestly such a hidden gem amongst the trees. It's close to Manjimup so you can pop into town easily. There was games for the kids and firewood. Such a beautiful set up, well done Matt. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely secluded spot the sites are well kept we were lucky enough to have all to ourselves. Lovely view over dam,heaps of bird life kangaroos bouncing by. Host were Lovely couple cold beers on arrival and produce from garden made us feel welcome. Truly lovely spot to relax by the fire

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Highway Hideaway. Our kids are still talking about it and keen to stay again. Great base for exploring the Manjimup region. Matt and his family are thoughtful hosts. Knowing we had kids, they organised a swing set and totem tennis set at our site. The property had plenty of space and lots of cool features, like a discovery trail and fairy garden which we loved. Will stay again.

We loved camping at Matt’s property. The site was peaceful among the trees. We were the only ones there so had plenty of space and privacy. There was a fire pit provided full of kindling ready to light and Matt provided a lovely welcome with some fresh produce from their garden. Pets are welcome and our dogs loved the space. We would definitely recommend this location. It was only 7 minutes from Manjimup and 17 minutes from Pemberton. Thanks for a great stay.

We were amazed at the beautifully created walking trail with information about the beautiful environment around every corner. We were greeted on arrival by the family and made to feel so welcome from the start. Some home grown products were gifted to us and we enjoyed them on our first night. The site came alive at night with lights highlighting the beautiful tree scape. Thoroughly recommend and have already flagged with our friends. Child friendly site with activities and secret fairy grottos to delight your little ones. Such a special place and will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Highway Hideaway. Great location to explore Manjimup and surrounds. The camp was set up well, overlooking the dam. There is a great little walk around the property with info signs about the local area. The little touches make it stand out, such as the friendly welcome from the family and freshly picked fruit & veggies. The kids loved the board games, books and play equipment available for campers.

Beautiful property and location. One of the best we’ve stayed in with a great balance of forrest and grassed areas to set up your camp site. Matt was very helpful and attentive and even left us a little gift from the organic veg gardens. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet oasis while travelling, do not miss spending a day or a few days at this property.

We had a wonderful stay. The site was spacious with beautiful views of nature. It was exactly what we were after. Matt was a great host, checking in to make sure we had settled in and needed anything. The property is super close to town for convenience. It was a great place for our young(ish) kids (8and 6). They could ride their bikes around, play on the equipment/games and borrow games and books. We loved the bush walk on site and views through the trees. We will definitely be back! 😊

We came and spent a week on Matt's property, and what an absolutely magical spot. Matt was the most incredible host and did what ever he could to make us have an incredible time. He had the fire pit and loaded with fire wood ready to go upon arrival 🙌 He even bought down a swing set for our kids to use for the week. I highly recommend visiting here, this is easily one of our favourite spots and we will most definitely be back. Thanks Matt for allowing us to visit your incredible property 😊

This is our second visit to this wonderful retreat and we can’t speak highly enough of Matt and his gorgeous family at Highway Hideaway. Not only is the property pristine the sites are perfectly spaced far enough apart from other campers and pitch 6 was secluded and relaxing with the most glorious views for our morning coffee. I look forward to returning for our next visit and am already planning it 👌😃 Once again thank you and also thank you for the delicious welcome box that was such a kind gesture.

We loved our stay at Matt’s, from the friendly smile from Matt and his daughter, to the lovely organic fruit welcome pack from his wife. Fire wood was available too for purchase. Our dogs had an amazing time, being able to be off leash. Would stay again in a heartbeat…

Drive down a meandering track covered in a canopy of tall shady trees and native bushland, to be surprised by the magical and tranquil setting. Immediately it is obvious this is a well planned and lovingly cared for camp ground. Be met by your happy host Matt and his lovely children with a vey thoughtful welcome gift of home produce. All sites had a beautiful view of the dam and bushland with a small playground that invited the little ones with many hours of play and laughter. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the discovery trail dotted with information on flora and fauna. Chat by the fire pit while looking over the lake, magically lit up by night creating a moody peaceful atmosphere that you probably have dreamt about. This isn’t just a fairy tale for you but for your four legged children as they enjoy this happy place leash free. Thank you to Matt and family for creating such a lovely campground. It really is a credit to you. We will be back and we will spread the word.
