Site 1 - Corner Retreat

Hidden gem

Thank you Matt and family for providing such an outstanding overnight stay at a value for money price. Rarely can you experience total silence, broken only by the wind in the trees and birdsong. Lots of space and privacy. Loved the little touches like the book exchange and the produce stall. Would highly recommend to others.

Site 1 - Corner Retreat

Beaut spot.

We had a lovely time at Matt's place, it was close to town and loved the views and walk around part of the property. When we arrived it was easy to see our allocated site, there were other campers, but far enough apart to still feel private. Matt greeted us during our stay with the kids and was lovely to hear about his plans for the property. Only issue was the dust from the recent earthworks that had just been completed - but you can see the potential of Matt and his family are creating. Nice little spot!

Site 2 - Ornamental Tree Outlook

Unfortunately the site was a dust bowl, due to recent construction of a dam. In time the ground will be covered with vegetation. Winter rainfall is needed to dampen the ground and get things growing. The location is handy to town . Recommended, but not until winter rains settle things down.

Site 3 - Ornamental Tree Outlook

The dam will be great when it’s finished, love the jetty idea. Nice to see the fresh farm veges available to cook up😊 We enjoyed the serenity of our stay.

Site 4 - Ornamental Tree Outlook

Matt was extremely accomodating and welcoming. Him and his kids came around to say Hi and check if we needed anything, even had a special Easter treat for the campers! The camp is in a great location, just outside of Manjimup and close to Pemberton, so a great base to explore the region. We will be back!
