The property is stunning, set against a gorgeous valley with peaceful dam views that make relaxing effortless. Having access to kayaks right on the water was a fantastic bonus that made our stay truly memorable.
What sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality. Harry went well above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. When our tent was missing some crucial parts, he didn't hesitate for a second—he set up his own personal tent so we would have a seamless, stress-free stay.
Harry and his two lovely kids welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is full of life and character, with friendly dogs, a magnificent peacock, and plenty of chickens and ducks wandering around, which added so much warmth to the setting.
Evenings were just as good, with generous supplies of firewood provided for the fire pit to keep us warm under the stars.
I loved camping at Hester Valley. We chose a powered site with the most picturesque dam and rolling hills view. Wildlife galore with peacocks, ducks and peahens. We made the most of the bathroom with hot water! There was a fridge stocked full of essentials. Everything had been thought of. Warm, cozy, generous! A hug in the form of a camping ground.
Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this peaceful and private getaway. We paid for a powered site with use of toilet and deliciously hot shower in a quaint rustic shed. Lovely view of the dam. Kind and thoughtful host.

Fantastic amenities,very clean . The fact you can buy milk was also great . The view across the dam was just si peaceful. Highly recommend this camp .
Well what a great spot this gem is. From the moment we booked our hosts communication was flawless . A fairly new site on Hipcamp and Harrison has gone the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Beautiful views over the new dam with bonus hot showers each day and so may other little things to enhance our stay. We cannot wait to come back and try out the awesome looking firepit. Thanks again Harrison it was great to meet you and keep doing what your doing mate cos it's fabulous.

Excellent location, quiet and secluded while conveniently close to town. Lovely meadow, family run with decent facilities. Would recommend for families with both tents and camper vans.

Dam view camping was very relaxing. The location is great. We loved the peacocks, ducks, guinea fowls and cattle.

Me and my partner went tent camping at Hester Valley!! we both enjoyed it so much! It had outstanding views, farm animals and it’s not far from a town nearby, very convenient. It was quiet as well and felt very peaceful. The host is absolutely incredible too, very nice and the best host i have had by far! I definitely highly recommend this place, there will be no regrets 😊

Beautiful property and lovely hosts. Enjoyed the animals we could see from our spot: cows, horses, ducks, sheep. And had visits from their sweet dogs and peacocks ☺️

Fabulous camping spot, nice and quiet with a great view over the dam. Bathroom was cute and clean, kids loved the bath. Would definitely recommend to others. They have thought of everything, and the kids loved the peacock feathers
