Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926. We offer neat nature based campsites in the gully and all campsites are on the banks of the babbling Dirk Brook with a good distance between campsites for privacy. A great property to reconnect with country Please note, to get to the campsites there is a farm track and for most, a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV to access ALL campsites. Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online. ALL campers are to be booked in prior to arriving at the farm. No entry for extra campers on day of arrival if not booked in as they will not be permitted to enter the property STRICTLY NO DAY VISITORS ALLOWED Campfires permitted when local government restrictions aren't in place. Located 10 minutes out of Bindoon on a secure, peaceful and private acreage Bindoon is a lovely small town that has an IGA, Post Office, Hardware Store, Pharmacy. Bakery and more. You will need to be self contained and bring your own drinking water. Small dogs are allowed but must stay with your setup or be on a leash when walking. Also if you have bikes, there is a bike trail into Bindoon from the end of Teatree Road (4.1km). This is where the Museum, Arts and Crafts centre and Men’s shed are located. Hot shower, composting toilet, fridge/freezer, tea and coffee facilities, bbq, utensils, cutlery and paper plates and bowls, pots, pans, coffee cups, etc. The site backs right onto the State Forest. You can pitch your tent or park your camper and share your paddock with our three pet sheep, goat and alpaca (or they can move out for the night if you prefer). There are also many regular visiting kangaroos. Enjoy the tranquillity of our forest and relax by your campfire as you are surrounded by nature and magnificent trees. A 10-minute stroll through the forest will take you into town to visit numerous cafes, gift shops, pub, etc.

With 54 acres of native bush and pasture, a beautiful dam with an island combined with an abundance of natural wildlife. Come and enjoy the delights. The campsites are private with a fire pit provided and you are welcome to collect wood from around the property. Fires are prohibited between 1st Dec and 31st March inclusive. While the main entrance is on Old Bunbury Road, most campsites are accessed from Dutchman Road. We have invested monies earnt back into the sites by way of limestone all weather tracks, fire pits and irrigation for the warmer months which also helps to mitigate the risk and impact of bushfires. The Northern half of the property is a combination of pasture and native trees, while the Southern half is native bush. Guests are welcome to roam the entire property with the exception of the owner's residence and sheds.

Campfires are subject to restrictions and if allowed, campers need to be bring their own self contained firepit and dispose of after. There is potable water available. Avonbrook Wheatbelt creekside camp

Unfortunately due to the prolonged dry weather the Toodyay Shire has extended any burning 🔥 until May 14th so sorry but no campfires until after that date, apologies, Sarah Our family moved to Toodyay 3 years ago after spending 8 years in Kalgoorlie, we dreamt of space to keep animals and raise our children. Avonbrook is ideal with its yearlong Creek and rocky outcrops for our Dexter cattle and Boer goats. We hope to enjoy for many years to come. We have 3 campsites at the moment, site A is the smaller of them. There are unfortunately a few ants nests around so please be aware and pitch up anywhere around the site thats best, even on the paddock side if suits... thanks, Sarah PS the cows can be naughty and like to chew cords so keep the gate shut to resist temptation! Hope you enjoy your stay on our land. We appreciate it so much as an exchange of services and an amazing contribution towards raising our family thankyou Please no camp-fires during shire restricted periods of 1st Oct till 30 Apr thanks

Northcliffe Nature Park

Situated in the southwest of WA, just 4km from Northcliffe, on Boorara Rd, with bitumen road frontage, is the Northcliffe Nature Park. Wander through the natural bush land or just take in the beautiful rural views that this nature park has to offer. There are many things to do in the area such as visits to lane pool falls, the Boorara tree, mount Chudalup, Windy Harbour, take advantage of the many 4WD tracks through the d’Encastraux National Park or catch up with some of the local history at the Northcliffe Museum. Pemberton is also close by and offers winery visits with long relaxing lunches This park caters for only fully self contained travellers, so therefore must provide their own toilet, shower, water and cooking facilities. We do provide rubbish disposal and your pets are welcome but we do ask that you clean up after them. The nearest dump point for waste disposal and potable water is at the Northcliffe Visitor Centre. Your hosts, Shane and Lynn are happy to chat about the area and points of interest as Shane is a descent of two of the original pioneering families he has a vast knowledge of the region and can tell a story or two, or find us on Facebook: Northcliff Nature Park.

Toowoo Farm

Toowoo Farm is located 5 minutes out of the historic Toodyay town. Sprawling 140 acres over rolling hills with running creeks. Only 1.5 hours out of Perth, its the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or an overnight stop prior to continuing your journey onwards. The camping is situated in the front paddock of the property which is easily accessible by all vehicles, caravans and trailers. Please keep in mind the following, There are animals on site. Pets allowed but must be on lead. You must be self-sufficient, bring your own toilet and water, leave no trace when you go. Fires permitted in winter months only. Plenty of firewood can be found on the property.

South Branch Ranch

NEWS UPDATE: the SBR now has toilet facility accessible 24/7 to campers. stay turned as we improve the SBR for all campers. The property is, as the name suggests, on the South Branch of the Collie River. The South Branch of the Collie River makes up the southern boundary of the ranch and is UN-FENCED and totally accessible to everyone on the SBR. The SBR is only small at 11 acres, but it does boast some unique features. Our only neighbour and at this time only fence line on our eastern boarder, the SBR is surrounded by the Australian bush. The beautiful river is the southern boundary and the northern boundary is only designated by the graded gravel roadway of Wolff Street. You can bushwalk, swim or have a paddle in the river while on the SBR. (NOTE: see SBR rules) You could try some hunting, for wild orchids that is, in the adjacent state forest. With clear access to the state forest for horse riding, mountain biking, and even motorbike riding. (ALL BYO, no Motorbike riding around the property) The SBR is pet friendly, with the agreement on booking that ALL dogs remain on a leash whilst on the SBR *see rules* due to the SBR having their own dogs. There is only a short walk to the state forest and your FUR KIDS run and walk unrestrained. We also allow horses on the property with horse yards to be supplied by the camper. Horses can only be ridden on the property's main thoroughfares to gain access to the state forest, which has an abundance of trails that can be ridden. The SBR is the perfect secure base to explore the many sites and tastes around the town of Collie and its surrounds. Collie has an outstanding MURAL ART TRAIL featuring the famous Wellington Dam wall art that has to be seen in person to be appreciated and more... The region has an array of beautiful lakes to choose from, with powered water sports on many lakes permitted, including water skiing. There is also the gorgeous “Black Diamond Lake”, which is power boat free, and Minninup pool for swimming. The SBR is almost all bush with some access ways to future camp areas and very rough tracks for walking. We love our bush home and are happy to share with you but, be aware this is the Australian bush and everything in the heart of the Australian bush you will find on the SBR, even those things that you don’t want to find. So most importantly, **see SBR rules** foot coverings will be worn at ALL times. The SBR is NOT a bustling commercial campground with strangers coming, hoons tearing through the area, or navigating a rutted track looking for an out-of-the-way camp spot, leaving ultra early to get the best spot just to find it taken by someone else. I was and still am an avid camper and I have experienced all of the above, that is why I opened the SBR to campers. The SBR is private property, with someone here on the SBR at all times. That in itself is enough to make most people relax and seriously enjoy EVERYTHING the Collie region has to offer.
