This is a bare bones camping spot & with a nice location but not much else going for it. The sunset was as lovely as advertised. However our site was not very level, nor were most of the others that we could see except site #6. We should have set up there except that the host was very specific about camping only in your assigned spot. As it turned out we were the only people there on that Sun. eve. It was very convenient to Jarrahdale for a hike into Serpentine NP from the east side.

Camp ground situated in a beautiful part of the Jarradale area but sites were quite uneven and made it difficult to level our caravan. In saying that, everyones perspective is different and I wouldn't write this camp site off your list if you needed somewhere to camp. The porta loo toilet onsite was great, very clean.

We loved our stay at Yarrabah high country! We stayed at sunset scene campsite 3 and 4, was the most amazing views with wildlife all around. Absolutely beautiful spot. Only thing I would have different is if the ground was more level, we couldn’t find a flat spot for the caravan so was on a small slant. Other than that, amazing stay! Definitely recommend.

What a spot! We loved our weekend at Yarrabah High Country. The sunset views were absolutely stunning and worth the trip alone. We're pretty new to caravanning, so we were lucky the other Sunset site was free. It gave us a bit more room to manoeuvre the car and van into place, which made setting up much easier for us beginners! It was a bit windy during our stay, so keep that in mind if you're cooking with gas, thankfully we use induction. An incredible place to relax and take in the views. We'll definitely be back! 😊

Nice and clean property shame the traffic was so busy from pretty much 2pm to 8pm going up and down the driveway Camp sites are really close together would recommend going weekday to avoid screaming children

The High Perch- Site 2
We picked this site as it was close enough to home to make for a great little getaway. Unfortunately, the two driveways directly next to our spot, particularly the neighbour’s which had quite a lot of traffic, along with the noise from the main road, made it less peaceful than we had hoped. The sites are also fairly close together, although there was no one else staying on the nearby spots on our first night. We had planned to stay longer but ultimately decided to leave after the first night. When we go away, we’re really looking for privacy, space and quiet, somewhere we can hear the birds and enjoy the surrounding wildlife. So while this particular spot wasn’t quite right for us, I can certainly see that others would enjoy the well-kept area. On the positive side, the toilet was clean, there were small fire pits at the sites, and the host was friendly and kindly dropped off our purchased firewood for us.

Wonderful little spot with amazing views. Site 4 is definitely the best site, its highest on the hill with nothing blocking the view. Nice and clean manual flushing toilet. The sites down in the gully under the trees are also beautiful. Recommend booking a couple of sites if going in a group so u have a little more room. Awesome little walking track thats clearly marked.

The Gully
We were tenting and looking for a forest experience to get away from the city, have a fire, wake-up to birdsong, enjoy being surrounded by trees in a private well-spaced camp spot. The gully was an exposed flattened bulldozed gravel heap close to the road. no trees and not private. We could hear the main road noise and sirens. Definetely didnt feel like waking up in the forest. We left and didnt stay the two nights-forgoing the 2 night payment. Might be ok for caravanners stopping overnight but not tents for a weekend getaway. Lots more trees and shrubs needed at the campground to give privacy, wind and noise protection. Tracey was very responsive and firewood was available to purchase..

Overall we had nice time. Campsites were a lot closer than expected due to no campground map was available until you booked. Traffic from the chiropractic business next door was busier than our street in suburbia. Have stayed at other Hipcamps same distance from Perth that have been way more tranquil, no other campers in site and $30 less a night.

Great spot and very chilled. Had a great night there. If in tent need to carefully pick spot for level ground. But we'll noted by host on website. Highly recommend and will no doubt be back in the near future. Also great to have the fire pit and wood provided.

We loved this site. The toilet was cleaned, the views, sunsets and stars were incredible from here. The only challenge was the ground as it was pretty stoney and we only had a tent. However, we still made it work. I read some of the other reviews prior, so i was prepared and we absolutely enjoyed it! We will be back to try the other sites.

Lovely spot for a camp & close to Perth. All neat & tidy. We enjoyed a fire & the view at night of Perth skyline from our spot at "City Lights". Lovely sunset views from western perimeter of camp ground. Walking trail next door was excellent - walk along the the old Jarradale train track. The Thunderbox was a bonus - quaint, clean & comfortable.

Stayed in the country stars site. Lovely view. Site and toilet were clean and the nearby farm animals were a delight and didn't keep us awake.
