This is a Wildlife Sanctuary for mostly orphaned kangaroos that are free to roam the property.We offer a chance to really get away from it all with a choice of camp sites without power.Your stay includes an experience with the orphaned kangaroos for free, patting and feeding. As this is a wildlife sanctuary strictly no pets are permitted. Firewood supplied. Billabong Bush Camp offers a beautiful natural native bush block not far from tranquil bays and rolling beaches of the Turquoise coast. We accept one group at a time, guaranteeing complete privacy.
There are several lovely camping areas to choose from, some closer to the billabong, and others tucked into nooks amongst the beautiful flora. There is a toilet, and access to potable rainwater (upon request). We can also offer access to power for a small additional fee.
Our 160 acres of uncleared Land, dotted with pockets of pasture is nestled in the heart of what once was traditional Yuet (people) Country. The beautiful undulating bush is fed by a series of freshwater springs and first settled in WA pioneering days along an original telegraph post line and stock shepherding route in and out of Perth.
Today, it is conveniently set in the heart of the Midwest coast where the bush meets the Beach surrounded by National Parks and Marine Reserve in the Shire of Dandaragan.
Here, you'll find a nature lovers' paradise rich in native flora and fauna, abundant with seasonal wildflowers, plentiful birdlife, and unique Australian mammals and reptiles.

With more than 800 species of native plants, including an incredible diversity of wildflowers, there's always something in bloom throughout the year.
Located just a few kilometres from the main entrance to Lesueur National Park, we're perfectly positioned for exploring one of Western Australia's most spectacular wildflower regions. The coastal town of Jurien Bay is only a 15-minute drive away, offering access to the stunning beaches of the Turquoise Coast, including Sandy Cape, renowned for its white sand, crystal-clear waters, and excellent swimming, fishing, and boating. The ocean is less than 10kms away from sections of the farm.
There are no amenities available so guests must be fully self contained including having their own toilet. Take all waste with you on departure.
We also run a small flock of sheep and maintain several beehives, adding to the property's peaceful rural charm. Treat yourself to fantastic local honey from the stall located at the entrance to the property.

We stayed at Darells Place for two nights with our two little kids and had a relaxed and fun time.
Quiet spot, amazing star sky at night, birds, fire and interesting chats with the host. Close to town and easy to find. We can definitely recommend the spot!

It’s a beautiful farm with stunning rural views. We got to see lovely sheep, a friendly donkey, and even cute pink parrots – our kids were so excited!
The owner wasn’t on site when we arrived, but everything was perfectly organised. Self check‑in was easy, and our powered site was clean and spacious. The camp kitchen and bathrooms were also very tidy.
We really enjoyed the peaceful farm atmosphere and the campfire at night. Highly recommend for families looking for a real farmstay experience.

Chelsea’s Farm was great. First night we sat around the fire pit. Our two dogs loved it. Our puppy played non stop with the resident puppy border collie, Cleo. Darrel was a fantastic host. The weather got really bad on the second night but we got through it without damage.

Big open space. Ken was wonderful, on arrival he gave us a bucket of Kangaroo food, as we fed the kangaroos to our hearts content. We loved the Roos, they would politely hold our hands while they eat out of them. Would 100% go back again. It was so much fun!

My husband and I stayed two nights although we booked for three. We left early as rain was scheduled for the last night/morning and we didn’t want to have to pack up a wet camper trailer. The property was gorgeous. Nice flat clear land for our camper trailer but lots of trees for shelter, with a beautiful view towards the coast. We didn’t see another person the whole time we were there. Peaceful and exceptionally private. There is even a fire pit which we used for a fire on the second night. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Stayed at Nambung Campsite and had a really pleasant experience. The site is unpowered, but still very comfortable. The toilets were clean, and the hot showers were a big plus. The camp kitchen was well maintained, with gas facilities and drinking water available, which made things really convenient.
We did have a bit of bad luck with the weather—our gazebo got damaged due to strong wind and rain. I was worried about how and where to dispose of it, but the owner was very kind and happy to help us dump it, which I really appreciated.
The owner was very frank, friendly, and easy to deal with, adding a nice personal touch to the whole experience. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting the area—would definitely recommend!
