UPDATE July 2025 The Munbinea Rd to the Station is now FULLY TARMACED. Nambung is a 5,000 acre working cattle farm 2 hours north from Perth. We are surrounded by the Nambung National Park so there is always plenty of wildlife to see and wildflowers in season. We have a caravan park with powered or unpowered sites and onsite caravans for hire. Dog friendly (must be on a leash at all times). Toilets and shower amenities for guests.

Our onsite vans are older style vans with built in annex and air conditioned. Van 2 has 1QB, 1DB, 2 bunk beds. Basic cooking facilities hotplate, microwave and small fridge. Aircon and fans. All bed linen is provided need to bring your own towels. No ensuites - must use campground toilet and shower blocks nearby. There is a camp kitchen with BBQ, microwave, tables & chairs, hot & cold water, vans dont have hot water so need to boil kettle for dishes. NO wifi or TV, Telstra mobile best up near main house. It is camping enjoy the peace & quiet and family time. Plenty of Native birds, wild animals great for photography, star gazing or reading a good book come out and enjoy. We had a great 2 night stay Sheree and Mark are a great couple and looked after us during our stay. Highly recommend Marks Pinnacle tour he is a wealth of information and clearly passionate about the Pinnacles and the painted desert the baby lamb was too cute .

Amazing stay! Lovely hosts, super clean amenities and awesome location! Very easy to get to, all sealed roads from Cervantes (but SO much nicer than being packed in like sardines at the RAC campground! In Cervantes). We lived feeding time, and our guide for the Pinnacles tour was great, very knowledgable and passionate about the land, loved seeing how all the theories worked with the different fields. Definitely a worthy experience if you can stick around for the morning!

Friendly managers, Cherie and Mark, were helpful, relaxed and fun to be around. The morning tour of the Station and into the Painted Desert to see a unique view of the pinnacles in the Nambung National Park was a real highlight!

We loved our stay at Nambung..camping area was grassed with shady trees. We had our dogs and they had a nice walk to the dam we could take them on. Nice hot showers and clean toilets. Very quiet and nice relaxed feel. Definitely recommend

Perfect place to stay to experience a small dose of station life. Sheree and Mark were wonderful hosts. Was made to feel very welcome. Had a laugh. The tour to the “other” pinnacles is a must do as you won’t get this opportunity anywhere else. Worth the $$. Mark has some interesting theories and you may also be able to help solve the mystery.

Nambung Station Stay has been a favourite site for several visits. Close to Perth and good place to break a longer journey. Sheree and Mark are great hosts, always friendly and helpful. Both the Pinnacle and Wildflower tours are worth it. Amenities are very good and at the right time, the communal firepit is a wonderful place to meet other campers.

The toilets and showers were spotless, there was plenty of space when we visited. We couldn’t use the power however our site was at least 30 metres from the box and our normal leads didn’t reach. Great location to base ourselves for exploring the region. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

An Absolute Gem Near the Pinnacles! ​We stayed here for just one night, and we couldn't have been more impressed. The campground itself is lovely, quiet, and features exceptionally clean amenities which is always a huge plus when you're on the road. ​The absolute highlight, though, was taking the tour. Our guide was fantastic—incredibly informative, engaging, and kept everyone entertained with fascinating stories about the formation of the Pinnacles and the rich history of the local area. To top it all off, we got to see lots of emus roaming around, which made the experience feel extra special and uniquely Australian. ​Whether you're passing through or making a dedicated trip, highly recommend staying a night and jumping on the tour!

We loved the location of the campsite and its tranquility. We came from France and were finishing our roadtrip . It was a nice place before going back. We enjoyed the morning car and walk ride to discover the desert and the pinacles. The owner is invested ands a respectful approach of this place

I loved the farm environment, campfire, and clean kitchen, showers, and toilets. It truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and hardworking. We loved our tucked away spot behind the retro caravans. Loads of space to set up. The facilities were clean and tidy. Farm fresh eggs were an added bonus. Not the mention the amazing night sky. Be sure to look out for the Aurora Australis if your timing is right.

Fun station stay. Good showers, toilets and camp kitchen. Loved the communal camp fire. Good walking tracks, and animal feeding for those who want. The night sky is so amazing here and the pinnacles tour well worth it.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Nambung Station Stay!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It’s a beautiful farm with stunning rural views. We got to see lovely sheep, a friendly donkey, and even cute pink parrots – our kids were so excited! The owner wasn’t on site when we arrived, but everything was perfectly organised. Self check‑in was easy, and our powered site was clean and spacious. The camp kitchen and bathrooms were also very tidy. We really enjoyed the peaceful farm atmosphere and the campfire at night.
