UPDATE July 2025 The Munbinea Rd to the Station is now FULLY TARMACED. Nambung is a 5,000 acre working cattle farm 2 hours north from Perth. We are surrounded by the Nambung National Park so there is always plenty of wildlife to see and wildflowers in season. We have a caravan park with powered or unpowered sites and onsite caravans for hire. Dog friendly (must be on a leash at all times). Toilets and shower amenities for guests.

Our onsite vans are older style vans with built in annex and air conditioned. Van 2 has 1QB, 1DB, 2 bunk beds. Basic cooking facilities hotplate, microwave and small fridge. Aircon and fans. All bed linen is provided need to bring your own towels. No ensuites - must use campground toilet and shower blocks nearby. There is a camp kitchen with BBQ, microwave, tables & chairs, hot & cold water, vans dont have hot water so need to boil kettle for dishes. NO wifi or TV, Telstra mobile best up near main house. It is camping enjoy the peace & quiet and family time. Plenty of Native birds, wild animals great for photography, star gazing or reading a good book come out and enjoy. Clean toilets, hot showers with good water pressure, public cooking area and communal fire pits is nice. Very accommodating and the animal feeding at 5pm is fun.

Nice hot showers, clean cooking facilities, and a place to pitch my tent. Can't ask for more than that. Went with my 9 year old son and camp site was quiet by 10pm which was perfect for us.

Beautiful grounds in the middle of a working station. The toilets and showers were clean at all times, despite it being an extremely busy long weekend.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The campsite was peaceful, well maintained, and perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with, and everything was exactly as described. Would 100% come back again.

We loved our stay at Nambung Station. Mark and Sheree were very friendly and an accommodating. Absolutely loved the painted desert tour,it’s a must do.

It’s more than just a station stay, it’s a basic caravan park. We had an unpowered site and enjoyed our stay on the farm. We really recommend to book the 2.5h tour to the pinnacles in the desert. It was amazing.

Nambung Unpowered Campsite
Stayed at Nambung Campsite and had a really pleasant experience. The site is unpowered, but still very comfortable. The toilets were clean, and the hot showers were a big plus. The camp kitchen was well maintained, with gas facilities and drinking water available, which made things really convenient. We did have a bit of bad luck with the weather—our gazebo got damaged due to strong wind and rain. I was worried about how and where to dispose of it, but the owner was very kind and happy to help us dump it, which I really appreciated. The owner was very frank, friendly, and easy to deal with, adding a nice personal touch to the whole experience. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting the area—would definitely recommend!

Nambung station is amazing! The hosts are really friendly and run a great spot. The facilities were always spotless and everything is thought of. They were able to help us out and upgrade our second night to powered when we realised our battery was faulty.

Easy check in. Nice shower and amenities at the end of a long road trip. Young boys had a blast the next morning walking around all the old machinery, and checking out the chickens and donkeys. Our host Sheree was super helpful. Will definitely be back again.

An amazing escape from the city, only two hours from Perth. Sheree and Mark do an exceptional job making sure the place is spotless and everyone feels welcome. Even over a busy Easter weekend, they went above and beyond during our stay. This was our second time staying at Nambung Station, and we’ll definitely be back

Cool station stay! Ablutions blocks and camp kitchen. It’s in the sticks so no mobile coverage I thought this was bliss (but you can purchase Star link WiFi at the office for your stay if you need it). 40 minute drive to Jurien Bay. Close to the Pinnacles. Stayed over Easter which was really popular so the place was packed.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay surrounded by fresh air and beautiful country scenery. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the animal feeding was a fantastic experience that we truly enjoyed. ​While the drive from the city to the campsite felt a bit long, everything else was absolutely perfect and well worth it.

Absolutely brilliant spot, the property is private, quiet and stunning. We got to visit the animals and feed the donkeys which we loved, the facilities were clean, easy to use and accommodating and finally the owners were absolutely lovely. It was great to meet such cool, doen to earth people that love what they do and can have a laugh. Best comparison of the property is if you have ever scene Mcleods Daughters it’s a sunset straight from the tv screen. Thanks guys couldn’t recommend enough ❤️ wish we stayed longer!

It's the perfect blend of rustic and equipped. Powered sites, kitchen, bathrooms and showers mean you don't have to completely rough it. My kids loved the farm animals and the space to run around. Our hosts were lovely and made it a special weekend for us all.

We loved our stay at Nambung! There was much more than expected such as a little play spot for the kids, showers and toilets, camp kitchen with tables and chairs protected with meshing from flies, decent sized sites, a communal fire pit in cooler months little farm walks to a creek (in certain seasons) while passing the cows, a short walk to a dam with turtles. Our kids loved the animal feeds with the donkeys and sheep, riding their bikes around, watching the bulls and chickens and we even got a bbq with the farmer singing some country music on the weekend! Not too far from the pinnacles or a small beach town for a day trip. Thank you to the hosts who were very friendly and helpful we'd absolutely go back :)

For an alternate tour of the Pinnacles, the location is perfect. The host was knowledgeable and saw so much more than we had previously done as a driving tour many years ago. The facilities were clean and nice for kids that they feed the animals of an evening.
