Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

On booking your site, you will be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here outside of our cellar door hours. Overflow camping is also available in the paddock across from the winery, suitable over summer when it is dry and we are running our summer music events over the weekend. Please get in touch to enquire about this. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist, this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We also offer Cheese Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.

UPDATE July 2025 The Munbinea Rd to the Station is now FULLY TARMACED. Nambung is a 5,000 acre working cattle farm 2 hours north from Perth. We are surrounded by the Nambung National Park so there is always plenty of wildlife to see and wildflowers in season. Camp up in our bushland, with beautiful views of farmland. Enjoy sitting by the campfire, going on a bushwalk or riding your bicycle around the paddocks on dirt tracks. In the spring, there will be beautiful wildflowers to see, in the winter you will be able to walk through our creeks. TO BRING Please be self-contained with water and rubbish, however we do have Sheoak and Jam tree logs that you can collect for firewood and a compost toilet. Also please bring insect repellent, the spring can coincide with lots of mosquitos and flies. If you would like to bring your own firewood, you can buy some at the Bindoon roadhouse on the way. If you need access to drinking water and waste removal, there are facilities available at nearby caravan parks, such as Goomalling or Wongan Hills. We also provide non-potable water near the compost toilet for you to use for showers. ARRIVAL We are located in between Goomalling and Calingiri. Qualin farm sign in angled towards the Goomalling side, so could be difficult to see if driving from Calingiri. Drive slowly on approach of the driveway entry, as it on a corner. At the end of the driveway we have an information board to assist you in finding your spot as well as signs. If you need any help and would like to be welcomed to your spot, please let us know. PHONE RECEPTION During your drive, there can be limited phone reception, however, all campsites have some reception from most phone providers. If you do not have reception at the end of the driveway and need assistance, simply drive up the gravel road to the top of the hill (a right turn from the shed). THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA Bindoon bakehouse or Toodyay bakery are great places to stop for a snack or lunch on your drive from Perth. Both locations are approximately 1 hour from our farm. Bindoon also has established free mountain biking trails. New Norcia is an interesting historical town with museums, galleries and tours. It is a 40 minute drive from our farm. Goomalling has a lovely coffee shop called Lot 39 store and cafe. It is open weekdays and the bakery is open weekends. You will be positioned overlooking our beautiful dam/lake from there is our gorgeous paddocks with cows, horses, and sheep. Your view extends to our beautiful Jarrah Forrest. You could fill your day with activities such as fishing for fresh marron or perhaps paddle on the lake in our paddle boat or kayaks. You could also go for walks around the property. It is also a lovely spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. There is no water or power provided. Please note we allow pets but the must be restrained as we do have working dogs on the farm - Happy for your dog/cat/budgie to enjoy our beautiful farm freely as long as they are happy with our four dogs. A sheep and wildflower farm 200Kms north of Perth. We export preserved native flowers with a constant array of flowers which is at its best during the spring months. There is a self-drive loop set up to enable visitors to see the flowers where they grow. Choose from either the Flower Shed sites, which have a toilet and hot shower, or tuck yourself into the secluded sites amongst the River Gum plantation, which is best for self-contained campers (however there is a long-drop). All sites are flat and easily accessible for all vehicles. Dogs are welcome but must be contained by owners at all times .The sites all have fire pits, and campfires are allowed provided fire restrictions are not in place. You are welcome to collect firewood from the property for use during your stay.

Without doubt, Highway Hideaway is a beautiful Hipcamp and a real hidden gem. It’s clear the hosts are working incredibly hard to create a peaceful and tranquil place for guests to enjoy. The camping areas are beautifully maintained, and the discovery trail walk is a lovely addition, giving you the chance to wander, explore and really enjoy the surroundings. It was hard to believe we had the entire place to ourselves — it felt like our own private little escape. Peaceful, spacious and obviously cared for with a lot of pride. A wonderful spot to slow down, switch off and enjoy the outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Sembawang site was a beautiful spot, lots of bird life stunning sunsets, bush walks, fire pit, room for 2 or maybe 3 vans, our is 18'.6" some areas are sloping (bring blocks) there is a few sites so you will see camps and if they are inconsiderate you might hear them as we did one night but once they blew off steam on Friday night it was all quiet. all in all a great stay that Bea a beautiful property.

Jarvis Estate produce excellent wine and offer campers a free tasting on arrival. I grabbed a bottle of white to enjoy back at my camp.

It was so nice to see the attention to detail that Matt and his lovely family have put into this camp. They supply a fire pit and some wood for each site.

Tucked away amongst the towering trees, Highway Hideaway was exactly what we needed for our four-day winter getaway. Campsite 3 & 4 looks directly over the dam and is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise filter through the trees in the morning. The amount of work the hosts have put into making the property kid friendly was such a highlight for us. From swing sets and fairy gardens to outdoor games and a designated board game station that guests can borrow from, there was plenty to keep the kids entertained. They’ve even created a little bush walk through the property with information plaques about the different animals along the way, which was such a cute addition for the kids. The hosts’ children had also set up a little stall with their handmade arts and crafts, which our kids absolutely loved (and of course had to purchase from!). Being able to have a campfire during our winter stay made it even better, and the property being dog friendly was a huge bonus for us too. We happened to have the property to ourselves during our stay, so our dog had plenty of space to explore and she had the BEST time. Matt was lovely and welcoming when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed and then left us to enjoy the property at our own pace for the rest of our stay.

Great spot to spend a couple of days, we stayed out of season, initially booked 3 nights but ended up staying for 4. Steve is a great host, friendly and accommodating. The winery itself is lovely, we tasted some wines and had the place to ourselves. We have a reasonably big caravan (8.5m) got it in easy, took a bit longer to get out, big grassed turning circle but it was very wet so just took our time. We would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful stay with Matt and his family and would happily come back. The campsite was peaceful, clean, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home without being intrusive. The kids were the highlight of hospitality. The surroundings were beautiful, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy nature. It was the perfect place to switch off, and we really appreciated the quiet atmosphere.
