We welcome self-contained campers of all sizes onto our flat, grassy block of land. Create a sanctuary under the established gum trees, nestled amongst the birds and our friendly sheep. The land is fully fenced, has it’s own gate entry and plenty of space for you to set up wherever you choose. We are open to pets, and if need be, the sheep can be moved to our other paddock to ensure the safety and comfort for all animals.
The Humble Abode is the home of the owners, an adventurous toddler, our new baby and our two friendly dogs (who will likely do their job and bark on your arrival). This part of our land is sectioned off and not open to the public.

The campsite is located on 40 acres, just 10 minutes north of Dongara, 35 minutes south of Geraldton and a 6-minute drive to Seven Mile Beach.
Seven Mile Beach is known for it's beautiful turquoise water and white sandy beaches. You can walk for miles and dogs can be off leash. You can also snorkel over the reef area close to shore, fish off the beach, kayak or just swim.
The campsite is secure and easy to access. You can set up anywhere in the vicinity of the lean-to shed in the neatly mowed area. The area is relatively flat with some scattered limestone cap rock. It is easy to manouvre around, even for large vans including 5th wheelers. The camping area is approximately one acre, surrounded by trees.
You’re welcome to walk around the bottom of the property, staying within the boundary of the ring lock fencing.
We reside at the rear of the property in a fully fenced area with two dogs. The campsite is located near the front of the property. There are native trees/bush between both locations that offer privacy and the perfect setting for a campsite.
As there is only 1 site, you’ll have the whole area to yourself or with your traveling companions. The site can accommodate up to 3 vans/tents if travelling together. It’s self check-in, and we’ll respect your privacy. The area is yours to enjoy/relax.
Pets are welcome off leash, provided they are under control and you remain mindful of the local wildlife. We often see families of kangaroos, the occasional echidna, and several bird species that love the native trees around the site.
There’s a lean-to shed for your use and plenty of great spots to set up your van or tent. Please note you’ll need to be fully self-sufficient regarding power and ablution facilities. There is however a 3000 litre fresh water tank for your use.
During the autumn and winter months, once the spring/summer fire ban is lifted, you’ll have access to a fire pit and firewood for a cozy campfire.
At night time the night sky is amazing with so much to see. Some nights the ocean can be heard in the distance breaking on the reef. Perfect location to rest/recharge.

Sharing our land gives travellers passing through Dongara and Port Denison a chance to enjoy the peace and quiet our property offers, along with time to explore the local area.
Please note that this is a land only stay. There is no water or power available, so guests must be fully self contained. A dump point is located near the town oval.
Our property is just 4 km from town — a quick drive to cafés, eateries, charming small shops, and the visitor centre, where you can learn about the town’s heritage and nearby walking trails.
You can also head down to the marina precinct to enjoy the beautiful foreshore, its facilities, South Beach, and the Seafolk Café.
Dogs are welcome, but please keep them under control as sheep graze on our property and neighbouring farms. Kangaroos also frequent the area.
Small fires are permitted during the winter season.
Please note that the main residence is visible from the paddock but is not accessible to guests.

Windrush was nicknamed “Serenity House” many years ago by friends and family.
It is conveniently located, only 13 minutes from the centre of town and six minutes from the beautiful Greenough River mouth and beach.
We welcome self-contained campers of all sizes onto our flat block of land. Create a sanctuary near the established gum trees, nestled among a large variety of birds. The land has its own gated entry and plenty of space for you to set up wherever you choose. We are open to pets on leads.
We have three dogs and one cat of our own. The dogs are kept in our backyard, and Derek the cat will most likely come to visit you.

Peaceful 10-acre bush stay in Chapman Valley, just off the North West Coastal Highway—easy to access, yet quiet and private.
Expect wide open space, scattered gum trees, a freshwater dam and distant ocean views. In winter, the block turns green and lush; through the warmer months, it settles into its natural coastal landscape—dry, open, and rugged in a good way. You’ll likely see goats grazing, chooks and ducks wandering, and the occasional horse nearby.
There is an Airbnb and our private home on the property, but plenty of space to spread out. Please park away from the Airbnb area—you’ll find multiple private, grassy spots across the block to set up and enjoy the peace.

The property is on the coral coast, Irwin Shire. It is 2km from 7 Mile Beach, 10 km north of Dongara and Port Denison, 55km south of Geraldton.
Camping is on the front entrance of the property only, it is fairly flat land with a high western bush rise protecting from westerlies. The site overlooks the surrounding valley landscape. The access road is fairly quiet.
The property is surrounded by restaurants, north and south, amazing beaches, like South Beach in Port Denison and up and down the coast. There is a wild life sanctuary in Greenough and a Tavern in near by Walkaway. There are also several dog boarding kennels.
In Geraldton north is a very popular international wind surfing community and surfing is well catered for as well.
Bookara is surrounded by organic farms and there is a local goat cheese factory, and many other enterprises.
Up past Walkaway is Denison's pool a local gorge and an indigenous heritage site.
It goes without saying that the fishing is good too.
There are sheep on the property, so care must be taken entering and leaving the property.
