We live on a picturesque 400 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon. The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk. We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk

There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including red-tailed cockatoos that flock to the gully to feed on the Marri trees, plus many other birds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. LOOKS REALLY REFRESHING FOR SOME ROVER ACTIVITIES ‼️ Murray Valley Camping features campsites that are completely open in nature. Each site is close to the Murray River and is surrounded by nature, so you truly feel far away from the rest of the world. The property is close to the famous Bibbulmun track, with Harvey and Boddington equal distances away, so options to explore the region easily. Campers can go for walks along the river, relax, and enjoy the sounds of nature. Throw your kayak in for a paddle. Throw a line in and try your luck at fishing. As the day slips away, catch a beautiful sunset, as you toast marshmallows by the campfire (outside of fire restriction times). There are no toilets or amenities, so all campers need to be fully self-contained in that respect, with their own camp toilet and water, and we ask you to take all waste when you go. There’s also little to no cell reception at the sites. There is background noise from the nearby conveyer belt that goes on and off randomly. Some people take it as soothing white noise while others think it’s overbearing. Pet-friendly, so you're welcome to bring your four-legged friend along. Unplug from everyday life, escape and reconnect with friends and family in nature.

It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY - HARMONY RETREAT IS A PEACEFUL NATURE ESCAPE. There are free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mini pig, very friendly goats, sheep, and our family dogs on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite. Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging livestock and wildlife on the property. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN/TEENS - The dam on the property is unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore it is imperative that children are fully supervised at all times. We also asked that older children/teens are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has unfortunately been a problem in the past). Our communal BBQ area is now open with a gas BBQ, picnic table and sink. Please bring your own cooker, kettle, esky, etc, Bringing your own drinking water is a must, as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season (BYO wood). We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open cooking flames during fire bans. We have 3 beautiful and secluded sites to offer, right in the heart of the Dwellingup State Forest, 1 of them on the banks of the Murray River. All sites here enjoy a minimum of 100 metres separation. We love all animals here at Nanga River Retreat and we'd love for you to bring yours along (Remember to book our pet friendly site – ‘River Camp’, and dont forget to bring your little yellow bags please). We also enjoy an abundance of wildlife traffic through the property. We would love to see all the Witches, Wiccans, and other Weirdos out there, we encourage you to book in for a spell. If your children are yelling and squealing you will all be asked to leave the communal area. - Please supervise your children at ALL times, this is for their safety. Welcome to Rosa Glen Farm approximately 20 minutes south-east of Margaret River. Rosa Glen Farm is a working vineyard/winery making natural wine. We have now been on the farm for three years and as you will see we are still continuing to build our dream with our recently established olive grove and kitchen garden. Our love and passion is inspired by the nature that surrounds us, music and connection with the local community and travellers. We have eight self-contained (only) pet friendly RV sites, beautifully spaced to deliver privacy and solitude in a genuine low-density camping experience unlike traditional caravan parks. Most sites are immersed in the Marri, Jarrah and Peppermint trees that surround our large Dam. Two of the sites have dam views; Isla In The Sun and Henry Lee whilst the others are close walk to the dam, which is a great swimming place in the summer. Each site is large enough to cater for at least two caravans and two vehicles. During the winter months and early autumn we do recommend that your vehicles and van are 4WD as the road and property can be quite wet. Our property really comes alive in Spring and Summer with the vineyard and our gardens in bloom and from December 15 our picnic/music/wine garden is open. Though you are more than welcome to purchase wine anytime, during summer we open our little bar-a- van to guests for wine tasting, cheese and music. Our Bar-a-van sits under a majestic Marri tree, adjacent to our kitchen garden of which you can purchase season vegetable boxes. Please enquire when you arrive. On the property we also have an adult only sauna and plunge pool - which will be open for the first time to guests from December 15, 2026. This can be booked as an extra through Hipcamp and your preferred time must be sent through as a message upon booking. We also have a number of additional extras you can purchase such as Cheese Boards and some essential local food items. A little bit about our local area 'Margaret River' which is most famous for wine but there are so many other things that make this place special. Our wild but beautiful coastline is largely uninhibited by people and within 15km away from our farm are the beautiful Karri Trees in the Boranup Forest, 4 x Limestone Caves to explore, The Wadandi bike trail, The Cape To Cape Track and the stunning beaches of Redgate and Contos. We are also known for surfing and close by are a number of world famous breaks including Surfers Point which is located 25 minutes from the farm. Closer to the farm you can enjoy a short walk to a beautiful winery called SI Vintners, drive to The Berry Farm or the quirky town of Witchcliffe. At Witchcliffe you will find Darnell's General Store which has a gift shop (The Shed), cellar door (Amato Vino), coffee shop (Witchy Brews) a fantastic pub (Dear Darnells) and the recently opened McHenry Hohnen Vintners wine bar. Lewana is a historic ex-forestry workers' estate located on the Blackwood River and Tourist Route 251 between Balingup and Nannup. The 100-acre property is situated amongst state and pine forests, and the parkland setting features over 50 different tree varieties, creating a beautiful place to stay at any time of year. Lewana is the ideal base to explore the picturesque region of Balingup and the surrounding areas, including Donnybrook, Nannup, and Bridgetown. Surrounded by orchards and award-winning wineries, there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay. Experience nature by walking part of the Bibbulmun Track, cycling a section of the Mundi Bibbi Track, or kayaking on the Blackwood River from historic Wrights Bridge. Welcome to a little slice of South West magic. Tucked away on the back paddock of our property, this camp spot is where farm life meets one of the most beautiful regions in Australia. Roll in, set up, crack a drink and settle into the rhythm of the country. You’ll be nestled amongst trees, our miniature cows , curious kangaroos and birds. Just over the fence is the local horse trots training track, so in the afternoons you can respectfully sit back with a glass of local wine and watch the trotters go by. It’s peaceful, a little wild, and about as Aussie as it gets. When you're not kicking back in the paddock, the entire South West playground is at your doorstep. We’re 5 minutes to Busselton, 20 minutes to Dunsborough, and a straight shot down the highway to Margaret River. Spend your days chasing turquoise water and salty air at world-class surf breaks, beach hopping along the stunning coastline, or watching the annual Humpback Whale Highway put on a show just offshore. Explore ancient caves, wander sections of the famous Cape to Cape Track, or spend a lazy afternoon winery hopping and eating your way through some of the region’s incredible wineries and restaurants. Then come home to camp. Throw a rope if you're feeling cowboy, watch the sun drop behind the trees, and in the cooler months light the fire and settle in under a sky full of stars. This is a small simple, peaceful paddock camp with no facilities, so campers must be fully self-contained with their own toilet, water and power supply. To protect the livestock and wildlife, this is also a NO-PET site. It’s simple, peaceful, a little rugged, and full of South West charm. Farm air, ocean nearby, good wine in hand — what more could you want?

A magnificent towering backdrop of Karri Forest can be seen across the water. Wildlife in abundance, both on and off the water and can be observed at various times of day. Pop into our Iconic mud-brick cellar door and enjoy a complimentary (guest only) tasting paddle of our exclusive organic wines/ciders and fortifieds. Visit our mezzanine Gallery, hosting local artists and enjoy the view across the vineyard into State Forest from our balcony. All campsites are leveled and drive through, we accept RV's, caravans, rooftops, camper trailers. But all must be 100% self sufficient. Dogs are welcome but must stay on a lead at ALL times as it is a working farm winery/vineyard. Kangaroos and other wildlife are resident to this area and will pass through on occasion. You must bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient including your own water. We are Nature Base with a Leave No Trace Policy, we ask that you please take all your waste with you. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of the campsites allowed, a good description and photos are online. 68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this isolated pocket. We have five sites available. Four for self-contained campers/vans only, you MUST bring everything with you including a toilet. Shed Pad, has power available and an optional private bathroom. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of our five campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. Shed Pad Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with an optional private bathroom. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

The property is home to amazing bird life and absolute tranquility.Our location also offers the most magical starry skies on a clear night. It's a total escape from the worries of the world.Well-behaved four-legged friends are allowed to stay too! Just please ensure they don't don't chase the wildlife or our sheep.

Amazing spot to relax, so quiet and especially with no road noise or industry near. Perfect if you have a reactive dog, our Blue Heeler was the most relaxed we have ever seen her so made our holiday stress free and relaxing too. Would be great for family groups too. Close enough to Pemberton etc to explore the area. Signal kicked in enough for txts sometimes but our Starlink was ideal. Hosts are lovely and check in was super easy. We will be back.

We wanted somewhere close to Perth that was dog friendly for a night away and Mark’s place was just the place. Nice trails behind the property for dog walks, fire already set and ready and power and water which is a bonus for Hipcamps. Like everyone says, Mark really goes above and beyond- we got blow by blow instructions prior to ensure reversing the van was as easy as possible and everything in the camping area is well kept. Will def put it on our list for our quick get aways.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Evergreen. It was so restful being in amongst the trees with native birds flying around & waking up to hear them in the mornings was delightful. Mark goes above & beyond as a host … there are fire pits with free firewood provided, a lovely way to spend your evening. Sites are generously sized with water & power connections available. Having a toilet/shower & laundry facilities onsite was a huge bonus for this type of property. We would happily recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life for a few days.
