Located on the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia, Bolinda Vale Farm is a real working farm breeding Beef cattle and Merino sheep which has been in the same family since 1926. Perfect place for caravans, camper trailers, rooftop tents, tents, swags, vans to various campsites. There are horses and Scottish Highland cattle that usually greet you near the main entrance, and sheep and cattle graze the hill country and surrounds. The resident Wedge-tail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills and the local kangaroos Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you. Chittering Acres

16 sites · RVs, Tents700 acres · Chittering, WA
We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon. The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia. Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles. The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce. We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

100-Acre Woods

18 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · Mandurah, WA
We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

Jacaranda Hill Farm

16 sites · RVs, Tents108 acres · WA
We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Everything Horses Ltd

4 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Henley Brook, WA
5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We look forward to welcoming you to Everything Horses ltd where you can enjoy one of the last pockets of peace left in the Swan Valley area. We are everythinghorsesltd on Facebook with current uploads to see more of the property and animals here. There is a red cone at the driveway to pull in to where you will be greeted, please leave any gates as you find them. We wish you happy travels campers

Harmony Retreat

7 sites · RVs, Tents25 acres · Meelon, WA
Harmony Retreat is situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilets, hot outdoor showers, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens, a mischievous mini pig named Peppa (who loves pats), sheep, and family dogs on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). We are a family friendly property, so not the place to come if you intend to party. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There are hot water outdoor showers and toilets available to use and within walking distance of each site. The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. Older children will need to be supervised. Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times. There are no cooking facilities available for guests at present (this could change in the next couple of months as Troy is notorious for making stuff happen lol... so when it does we'll update the information). Therefore you will need to be completely self-sufficient including washing up bucket, cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire season/complete fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Wood is available for purchase on-site from April/May to October/November. Collecting firewood from the property or forest is not permitted. Firewood Kit's can be purchased for $25 cash upon arrival. This includes firelighters, kindling and 20kg firewood at your site upon arrival ($30 if using EFTPOS to include various fees). We also host various events such as drumming circles, retreats, and festivals throughout the year, as well as offering holistic healing sessions, private sound journey sessions and have a little shop selling journals, oracle cards, giftware, diaries, cacao, and handmade items which can be opened upon request. You can find details and learn a little more about what we do at hwcommunity.org

Camping near Fremantle guide

Overview

Between the Swan River and the Indian Ocean, Fremantle is a popular spot for caravan campers looking to avoid the bright lights of Perth but still enjoy a taste of the cosmopolitan life. A short drive from all the main sights, Fremantle’s caravan campgrounds are a great way to soak up the city vibes, while still enjoying all the usual amenities like camp kitchens, dump points, water and laundry. Some of Fremantle’s best caravan parks are even right on the coast, so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves and swim on hot summer days. If you prefer being out in the bush, you don’t have to head too far south or east of Fremantle to find nature-based caravan sites and campgrounds. Usually much quieter than Fremantle’s caravan parks, they’re still close enough to zip in for the day and hit up the museums or the Fremantle Markets without having to worry about finding parking for the big rig.
