Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
If you’re looking for a getaway in close proximity to Perth, River Run at Settlers Crossing’s may be the one that will meet most of your expectations. We have just finished the new wide road to the Back Field so 2 and 4 WD can access the back field . Their are 8 areas to chose from in the 7Acres Back field. Lots of space for large groups . We only allow 8 bookings no More no Less Each group has their own space to relax and unwind in natural surroundings. FIRES 🔥 ARE ALLOWED at the moment awaiting the approval from the shire of Mundaring. Plenty of room . Our front gates only 50 meters from the KEP track . Area 1-2-3-4-5–7 -8 the back Paddock 7.5 acres as shown in the picture . WE HAVE NOW FINISHED THE NEW ROAD RO THE BACK FIELD . So all vehicles BIG & small can Access the rear field . And remember when the fire bans Lifted its FREE WOOD on site so bring your saw . Of course we will not be held accountable or responsible for the use of chainsaws or saws not used by a licensed or certified operator. Only 50 minutes driving distance from Perth CBD, this site provides you a peaceful sanctuary to escape from the Hustle and bustle of city life. Covering 15 acres of Perth hill area, whether you’re in a tent, caravan or RTT, the ground has spacious, campsites that offer just the right mix of privacy offset from the homestead. And the stars here on a clear night’s are just breathtaking. The clear hills air make observation Cristal clear . When the stream is flowing in winter it will add another level . What really sets this place apart is its location—the Kep track, a 75-kilometre multi-use track that follows the historic rail formation between Mundaring and Northam, is literally at the front door , convenient for all you lovers of hiking and biking.7 acres of nature just waiting for you to relax and enjoy . 8 areas only we don’t over crowed . Each groups limited so lots of room for everyone. River Runs a place to have your own space or gather at one of the large fire pits and make new friends .

Great spot under the tree and elevated. Hosts called past on Sunday and offered some eggs, and had a great chat. I love their passion. To want others to enjoy.

Great campsite. Easy vehicle access and close enough to the CBD for a quick weekend getaway, but far enough away to feel secluded and uninterrupted. Mark was very welcoming and popped down to say g’day, even giving the kids some icy poles. The ground is nice and flat, perfect for swags and tents, and there are some giant trees that provide plenty of shade. We’ll definitely have to come back once fire season is over so we can enjoy a fire in the pits on site. Cheers!

We decided only a few days out to just stay one night. Mark made it easy with a quick response and we were set. Our Hiace is only 2WD, but since it was dry weather, the short track to the back paddock was quite easy to navigate although a little bumpy! The night was peaceful with three other campers and loads of room to spread out. We had our dinner, enjoyed the serenity and turned in for a good sleep. Thanks Mark. Easy and enjoyable.

This hip camp was great. It didn’t promise anything other than what was delivered. We visited Northam and Toodyay- 2 towns we had never been to before. The access to the back paddock was like a four wheel drive training track. A little repair wouldn’t go a miss. The spots are exposed with little natural shelter. But we love our weekends away in nature. Stargazing and relaxing - what’s not to love?

We were a big group of 4 separate families. Had the whole area to ourselves. Enjoyed singing on our karaoke machine, played games and the everyone loved that we had a lot of room to run around with the super soakers.

We had the whole area to ourselves, so we were able to setup as a group (big area). The host Mark was very accommodating. We did some karaoke and enjoying playing games (kids especially loved using their super soakers).

Camp paddock is well maintained and Mark allowed me to have 4 Kelpies off leash which was why I booked this place.. The bridge crossing is a bit narrow and hairy for manoeuvring a caravan but obviously achievable if you take it easy. Would be nice to see the place in winter with the creek running

Beautiful quiet spot, lots of birds- very tranquil. Paddock was freshly cut which was great with small dogs and worrying about snakes. Mark is very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Mark is a gem of a host and they have a great piece of the world. Like the other posts have said, it's a great spot to try out of grid camping in your new rig. I just came for the peace and quiet and will definately come back. Site 1 is the biggest and 2 and 7 are fairly level.

River Run at Fettlers crossing is an awesome place to camp for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of life. The camps are spacious and well spread out. There is plenty of bird life and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. Mark the host is a treasure and I appreciate all the assistance he has given me whilst on my stay. Well worth a visit 😊

Great camp site, we booked very last minute and we got contact from Mark very swiftly. Beautiful camp site, other campers nearby but everyone seemed friendly. We were in a 4x4 with a roof tent, highly recommend 4x4 if you’re allocated a spot out the back.

Mark was great with communication and was lovely to my partner and I. There were a couple of mishaps completely out of Mark’s control and he was nothing but helpful. We will be back again in future for sure 😊
