Big open grassy area by the dam, very peaceful and great views. Hosts were very welcoming and even put on a communal fire and Easter eggs for the kids over the Easter weekend. We will definitely be looking to visit again.

We had such a lovely stay here over Easter weekend with our friends! Aleisha and her partner was so lovely and accommodating and the land was beautiful with gorgeous views & such good location to nearby beaches and 30 min drive to Albany. Will definitely visit again 🥰

This was my first truly “close-to-nature” camping experience, unlike many DBCA campsites. We arrived late, but Aleisha kindly waited for us and, upon arrival, took us to the campsite and offered a few options to choose from. The site was nestled near the forest, with a clear open field and beautiful mountain views. It felt peaceful, yet vibrant during the Easter period.
I already have a few more spots within Little Burra Retreat in mind for our next stay—we’ll definitely be coming back!
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing stay.

Absolutely amazing place. Host were friendly and made things super easy. They answered any questions we had before and during the camp, always giving friendly energy. The view there is drop dead gorgeous and definitely Instagram worthy. There's quite literally a mountain towering over the clouds in the distance, it's so beautiful and cool. They also had a community camp fire in the later hours of the evening, which we sadly missed because we went fishing. But would be a great place to definitely socialize among other campers and perfect end to the night. Only cons are that they do not have toilets and signal there is either bad or non existent. Even though it's mostly an open field, I found that it was fairly warmer then other sites I've been to, in my opinion. Another thing is that they had these two super cute cows that were separated from the others and the host allowed us to feed them, the girls ahead alot of fun doing that. :))

Very private site, we didn't have the best weather (very overcast and a bit rainy in the morning) but the site was quite sheltered and would have had an even more beautiful view over the farm paddocks. Would highly recommend.

Joe have US a very warm Welcome. He showed us atounf the lovely Spot. With so many Options to choose from, we decided in a spot under the trees. With plenty of curious cattle as neighbours. :)

Beautiful farm stay. We were the only people there. Very quiet and peaceful, only noise we heard were the occasional mooing from the cattle around the area which we loved. Will definitely be back in the future 😀

We spent a great 3 nights here at Little Burra in our caravan and it is a beautiful property with amazing views and peaceful campsites. You must be fully self contained, though rainwater is available if needed.
Hosts Morgan & Aleisha are very friendly, easy going and helpful.
Little Burra is good central location for day trips to Cheynes, Waychinicup, Normans Beach & Betty’s Bay.
Our kids loved playing in the bush around our camp site & watching the cattle, a highlight for them was waking up in the morning to have 30 or so cows & calves come & visit us near the fence. We also rode our bikes up to the picnic area & hammock near the dam.

Aleisha was a very proactive and communicative host who made sure our arrival and stay were smooth and stress-free. We were a big group of 30 with kids and there was plenty of space for them to run and play while the adults relaxed. The kids especially loved feeding the cows, such a special core memory for them. Oolbura is beautiful, well-maintained and the hosts are incredibly hospitable. Thank you so much, Aleisha!
