Riverside Paperbark - site 8
A hidden gem! Eight fabulous very large sites (much bigger than anything we’ve ever stayed at before) , all with forest on one side and gentle rolling pastures on the other. We booked a site near the river (no 8) but would have been just as happy with the ones across the paddock (no 1-3). The surrounding forest is lovely - full of wildflowers at the moment. Worth deviating from your planned itinerary to stop here for a night or two.

We had the most wonderful stay at Dunmore Homestead! The property is absolutely beautiful. We all especially loved the communal space with the newly built shelter -such a fantastic addition and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We also enjoyed going for walks around the property and discovering the beautiful wildflowers along the way. It was lovely to explore and take in the natural beauty of the area. The highlight of our stay was definitely sitting around the communal bonfire in the evening, looking up at the stars and simply taking it all in. Kristy was such a lovely host and came down personally to set it all up for us, which made the evening extra special. Thank you, Kristy, for such a beautiful and memorable stay. We absolutely loved it and would happily come back!

This place is amazing. We booked for one night and wished we’d booked for longer. It is so peaceful and such a joy to wake up to see cows and birds. We took a walk to Faraway Tree which was a lovely track along the river. Sites 6 and 7 are huge. We were in 7 and drove straight in and around and out with our 21ft caravan with no need to reverse. Would stay again. Thanks Kristy.

Old Mans Landing West - site 4
What a gorgeous property. Waking up to the crisp morning, curious cows and gorgeous view, this site exceeded our expectations. Cleverly set up as a fenced in site, the site next door is also fenced in. You can choose to have them seperate, or open the gates and connect the two, with both sites still completely enclosed. This was perfect for our little rascals and doggos who loved running back and forth and exploring. Kristy was so pleasant to communicate with and lovely in person. Dunmore Homestead is a dream and we will definitely be returning. As soon as we were driving out our three boys were asking when we get to come back! Thankyou Kristy for a lovely stay.

Old Mans Landing West - site 4
I really enjoyed camping at Dunmore homestead with my dog. It is a lovely tucked away part of the SW and very green at this time of year. We had site #4 which is fully fenced with a grassed area and some bushland behind. Plenty of room to move around and kick a ball with my dog. It was great to be able to have her off lead in this space so I could set up etc. Lovely big fire pit provided to keep warm. We were greeted at our fence by a large group of friendly and curious cows 😆 My dog made friends with them after overcoming her fear and it was lovely to watch. We went on lots of walks around the property which are well signposted. Good idea to include fly screens etc in your kit as with cows come flies. This didn’t spoil out stay however and I really hope to return to this lovely spot!

Donkey Campsite - site 1
What a great place. Big sites with privacy. Stunning views. We arrived in the dark but easily found our site thanks to clearly marked roads on the property as well as the map we received from host Kristy. She also came by the next day to check in on us and welcome us. Water and firewood at each site. Nice hiking trails too. The dump point and waste point on the property is very convenient. And the price is reasonable too. We will be back.

Riverside Cedar - site 7
Very peaceful stay here overlooking the cattle and we enjoyed walking the trails. This farm is well set up for self contained caravans, with green grass and reticulated water to each site and a dump point. There are two fenced sites for containing dogs, which we will probably book next time, but our dog had a great timer at our site alongside the river. The river was dry, but the walks along and beside it are very nice.

Old Mans Landing West - site 4
We spent this last weekend here with one of our adult children, his partner and our little Staffy Roxi. We loved our stay. It gave us piece of mind knows our furbaby was safe in the area fenced off. We were self contained in our little van and the kids camped in their swag and tent. The brisk mornings, serenity, hearing the birdlife, the cows, horse, donkey throughout the day was lovely. The evening bought in the kangaroos which was nice to see. What a great setup. We will definitely be back again. Thankyou for the Farm Produce, it was delicious.

Fantastic spot. Kristy was terrific. we stayed in one of the fenced sites which was secure for dogs to be off leash in this space. Fabulous sunsets by the fire pit, views out over the fields. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful relaxing time at Dumore Homestead. Site 4 is fully fenced for the dog and protected from the southerly winds with the bush behind you. The perfect place to unwind with a book and a few beers looking at the bush TV (camp fire)

Beautiful bit of property for Hipcampers. Old man’s landing was perfect for my doggo who enjoys life more running around free. Perfect location to be completely off grid and an incredible set up done by Kristy all sites are a very generous size. Perfection!

Absolutely lovely place to stay Bush walks with the dogs was incredible. Old man’s landing sites are just great for the dogs to run free in the enclosure provided they enjoyed the freedom as much as we enjoyed the relaxing. Kristy was excellent and very welcoming to us all coming to welcome us to there farm and make sure we we settled in asking if we required anymore firewood. We will definitely put this on our to return list

Kirsty gave great communication about what to expect for our stay with a few messages about the location. Getting there we used the location given through the app ,it was slightly off but was easily rectified. The written instructions given were better than what was on the app. The site was very well fenced off and better than what we expected, plenty of room for us our camper and dogs. We found the site super relaxing and we spent a bit of time just chilling out watching cows. There was even running drinking water , and a fire pit with wood supplied. There are some nice walking trails, don’t forget to check out the “faraway tree”. We even took the 4wd track down to the beach, you can even get to the national park which is great.

Great place to stay oustanding hospitality lucky enough to get some fresh home grown veggies, sites a spread out enough if you want your own privacy we had the fenced off space so we could let the dog run free , cows came and went to visit our dogs never seen one up so close.
