Nestled in the forests along the Donnelly River, between Pemberton and Nannup in Western Australia’s Southern Forests, our property offers a peaceful retreat. We provide a range of accommodation, including cozy cottages, glamping suites, and ensuite caravan sites—all dog-friendly! Just a short stroll from your accommodation, the Donnelly River invites you to drop in a fishing line, wander along its banks, or simply relax and listen to the soothing sounds of the water and surrounding forest. For those seeking a secluded escape, our ensuite sites provide private spots with rustic amenities, including a toilet, shower, access to water, power, and a BBQ. Please note that we do not have a camper’s kitchen, and fire restrictions apply during the warmer months. If you prefer a touch of luxury, our glamping suites are fully equipped with a king-sized bed, kitchen, outdoor bath, and projector—perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway. These tents offer stunning views overlooking our dam. While swimming in the dam is not allowed, it’s a beautiful spot for a picnic in one of our cabanas. During the day, explore local wineries—including one right next door—indulge in honey and chocolate from nearby producers, or take advantage of the many forest and national park trails. You can also enjoy fishing and swimming in the Donnelly River before unwinding under the starry night sky back at camp. We look forward to welcoming you to Stargazers!

We loved this camp site! Hot water and clean facilities. It was busy(most caravan site were taken up), but there’s limited spaces which is great You get your own private ensuite, plenty of space for the dog to walk around, and a “on-leash” policy for dogs which is helpful for our reactive dog. Also we got a discount at ampersand vineyard, which is a bonus!

This is the site I had been looking forward to the most out of my trip. It didn't disappoint. The facilities were spotless and well looked after, it was easy access, kookaburras and roos galore. Plenty of space to set up our gear. Once I'm home, I'll be booking a weekend here.

Beautiful location with well thought out facilities. Family had a great time, and hoping our Country Lotto ticket gets us shifting in just up the road with super early retirement 😜. Shall see you again soon for another visit 👍

We absolutely loved staying at #7 camp! We found this little place and thought we would go stay and check it out while we didn’t have the kids but soon realised it is both great for an adult weekend away or a family weekend away! The shower was amazing pressure and hot! The toilets were very clean! Dogs are welcome and plenty of room for them! Care taker was wonderful! Wild life everywhere! Would definitely recommend staying here! We can’t wait to come back!!

Absolutely loved my stay at Stargazers!! Very peaceful. The amenities were clean, hot water and a great shower! Kangaroos and kookaburras everywhere. Really happy I could stay with my dogs and there was no issue. Was also happy to have firewood and wifi. I will be back!

Absolutely amazing stay! The individual ensuite amenities are so fantastic to help create a little camping bubble. Todd was so lovely to deal with and Claire was super accessible if we needed anything during our stay. Cannot wait to book back here again, this has definitely set a new standard for us!

Fabulous Hipcamp, The ensuite facilities were great and super convenient, lots of hot water, wonderful hot rain shower, lots of power points and even your own barbecue. Beautiful location, really pretty around the water, lots of wildlife, masses of kangaroos, we had our dog and he had plenty of space to play, Tash and Todd are regularly around the property and could not be more helpful, lovely people and they provided excellent customer service, (Tash even helped us to find a heater because it was so cold in our tent) We also spent one night in one of the cabins and it was lovely, really warm and cosy, everything you need was there. Already planning another trip back later this year Thanks for a lovely stay 😍

Peace and quiet and the kangaroos were fantastic. Loved that it only had a limited number of sites. The camp fire was lush. The rustic ensuite was great and the shower was awesome. I would recommend it to my friends. The only downside was that it is a long way from any town.

A remarkable Hipcamp

This is a remarkably good Hipcamp. The ensuite’s on each site are beautiful and clean and the addition of the supplied gas BBQ is super convenient. Sites are perfectly level, nice and shady, the grounds are lush, green and beautifully kept which the Kangaroos take advantage of at sunrise and sunset. BYO tap fittings for water hookup (we accidentally left ours at home, so popped into Pemberton General Store) but van hookup was seamless and our kids loved this destination. Huge green areas for kicking their balls, throwing their vortex, playing cricket and riding their bikes throughout the property. One of the best destinations in the area, would 100% stay again.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, it was quiet and peaceful. The ensuites were amazing, and even though there were campers at other sites the way sites are positioned we had privacy. The

This was our kids favorite campground on our trip. They found friends to play with, and loved the climbing structure, treehouse and being able to see kangaroos just outside the camper van. The site is great value, shower was hot and toilet clean.

Stargazers was lovely! Relaxed vibe , plenty of space, nice small water feature that you could have a dip in, grass for kids to play on etc. loved that it welcomed dogs too. Lovely onsuite with fairy lights and even a wood fire at each site for use in winter.

We loved camping at Stargazers! The ensuit facilities are better than anywhere we've stayed...rustic yet functional and convenient. A personal BBQ and shelter was an added bonus.. The grounds are well kept and the lake gave the kids non stop fun. A lot of thought and effort has been put into making this place a very special spot to stay. Can't wait to come back

The camp grounds are absolutely beautiful and well equipped. The dam was wonderful to cool off in. Staff were really friendly. We all had a great stay and will definitely be staying again.
